Title: Is the cryptocurrency market broken in its current form?
Post by: PClay 35 on March 11, 2018, 09:48:52 AM
I am a big believer in blockchain and crypto and it's potential to revolutionise many aspects of daily life. But has the FUD, infighting, dramatic increase in the number and volume of pointless currencies, and attempts by large institutions to control the industry, ultimately led to the prolonged bearish market we have seen since December? If this continues, could the next big scandal lead to a catastrophic effect, that could have an irreversible decline?

It's not about another scandal in the cryptocurrency. If you remember when we were in the middle month of last year. The crypto has been growing a lot since last year.

This is will be continued until we will meet another bullish month again. But FUD, Hacked problem give significant impact to the cryptocurrency right now.
The market is really sensitive.

of course, all the ICOs scene are out of control with a lot of garbage project/tokens/coins etc. but still - compared to a year before - price are pretty high, and there is also plenty of promising projects.

there is no alternative to how it is.

the crypto market grew out of nothing. it's open to everyone and everything. every nasty aspect of human nature is gonna be on display.

the way it moves on to the next phase is to shake out the crap and the scum and push that to the sidelines. the only way you achieve that is to let it play out naturally until the winners are chosen by the majority. at that point no one is interested in the junk any more apart from morons in the shadows.

and the strife is nothing to do with the current price action. there'll always be strife. last year's price rises took place amongst the worst infighting ever seen.

I hope it will not happen, but some of these are fake news, just meant for cryptocurrency to drop so they can buy low and sell high when the right time comes and it will continue this way because we are talking about a highly volatile portfolio.

If you look further way back 6 years ago and compare it the market today you will see that the cryptocurrency market has a significant ascending form and it also indicate the market grows as the years go by. So we could not say that the market was broke but it is a normal form of cycle like any other market.

Over the short term I feel the people that invested during the media hype post $10,000 and above for BTC are going to get hurt. Given those somewhat interested in crypto but not enough knowledge or courage to adopt until it was all over the news are the ones going to be stung the most, I think it'll set back Crypto adoption by an extra few years than if it happened naturally without the hype.

FUDs will tests our market durability, nothing to worru about these FUDs because it will only give us more opportunity, bloodbaths will open new doors especially for the few smart people who will buy cheaper altcoins than their usual prices, the result will be seen when the market has recovered, thousands of dollars from the bloobath is great  8)

Yeah, whether on purpose or not, I think all the drama scares away new people from getting into cryptocurrency. Without new people we're just moving money between ourselves, which causes even more drama because there will be both FUD and FOMO to shake you out of your crypto.

The system of cryptocurrency sometimes people think that there are something negative results of flowing trends system. Sometimes people noticed those forms of outbalancing results of cryptocurrency movements are form of conflicts on manipulations. However it is only a form of dramatic result on market supply and demand. That's why sometimes there are some forms of changes that might cause by some people made ruin there mind.

I think because it is so unregulated, and the markets are on 24/7- because. A large majority of wealth is controlled by several individuals it's not helpful. Whereas in fiat there's is a larger spread of wealth across trading platforms. People sadly participate in pu,p and dumps and will loose out because of this. Crypto will remain. Better start buying quantam resistant coins!

I don't think, even so much FUD, so just want to affect the entire market, financial institutions so they can buy cheaper bitcoin, I think the bitcoin will not die, the bitcoin will have a good future.

No it can't be affect to the system of cryptocurrency and it could not affect by the crypto people even the market just like a broken in its current form because the cryptocurrency market today only shows the reality of the cryptoworld that enables the market up and down trend because of the supply and demand in the market and also the hype or fake news and the attacked of the hackers that could affect generally in cryprocurrency current form. that is the case but we will wait and check the reversible current form within this year the bullish will be stronger.

Last year, the cryptocurrency market was becoming more and more popular, because everyone though it was a good investment and a way of getting fast and big profits, so everyone wanted to make money out of it, and this has lead to this market going up and raising millions and billions of dollars all of a sudden, which got the attention of governments who for a long time have forgot about it, and with governments looking at people making profit from this uncontrolled market without paying taxes, decisions needed to be made, which have affected the price of all cryptocurrency.

Dont need to worry because the market has started to show some positive signs and the total marketcap of cryptocurrencies are improving,it means most of the investors money are already slowly getting to our cryptocurrency market maybe few hours or days from now the market will return to its original position.

The cryptocurrecy market entered its bearish phase in the February month and its good cause its a correction. Corrections are healthy for the market as they take the value of a coin to a point where the market thinks its right. Cryptocurrencies are still in the early stages and it will take some time for it to become mature.

Nothing to worry about the market has showing recovery signs right now,so it means few hours or days the market will soon comeback to its previous position, seems like the big players are done taking their profits and now they are just starting to buy cheap altcoins in the market, dont do like what others did, panic selling will only worsen the situation.

As well, since the very existence of alt coins they have ridden bitcoin's coattails. Whatever price direction Bitcoin moves in, up or down, alts generally tend to follow. Again, to varying degrees of magnitude.

Historical data is valuable and while I don't see enough evidence to prove the pattern obsolete, there's no telling what will happen this year.

Take heart, if this is a bear market and we continue with the pattern we'll never see BTC prices this low again in our lifetimes. Last bear market found it's price floor at $230. Those prices are looong gone. The same will be true for the price floor found in this bear market, if we have entered it.

I don't think that it is broken or going to break at any edge Because in these days many people are entering in this field with blind eye to make money and they don't want understand the system that how it works and what they need to make money .
Surely it is a type of the Rumour that is having a small time impact over the mind of the newbies , Because newbies are those people in this field who have no patience and have lots of fear in Thier mind and with samkk negative news they sell Thier coins and even they don't see toward that they will make profit or not at panic sell , and such type of panic sell results into loss and dump of market .
So it is a temporary fault of newbies only that is dump going on , otherwise it is much better thing to handle and make lots of profit and also here we should take in our mind that big dump and big pump are good thing to make profit in this field .

Yes of course, this is just temporary and it will end at some point, i am only worried about what is going on with some cryptos, but we all know that bitcoin and all the other major cryptos are here to stay.

This is just minimal, do not worry boys.
I'm still optimistic about the future of cryptocurrency markets, and what we need to do is hold.

If you really love technology you must don't care about price because the higher price, the lower value. Maximum what is it revolutions from young capital against old industry capital.

For me, I do not think that the cryptocurrency market be broken  in this current situation because this is just a mere adjustment on bitcoin and the other currencies. FUD and bad news from media news really is part of the down trend of the cryptocurrency market. With this, as much as possible these FUD and negative news should not be given more importance such that the people may not feel depressed and panic resulting for them to sell their coins at a much lesser value. It should be on the opposite where people should decide in buying crypto coins because the price value is much cheaper in the current market and hold their coins until it will hit the awaited bounce especially for btc.

Fortunately, the market has recovered. I hope the restoration of this bitcoin price will be at 12k $ and I will have a large profit block.
I have believed bitcoin and held them since their price was $ 10800, my friends sold them at $ 9k4 for fear of capital losses but I still hold them up until now. I was right and I deserve more profit.

I think this is one fear that has plagued most crypto investors, though thankfully unfounded! Revolutionary Innovation always creates a war of uncertainty between dogma and progress. But change is inevitable, and crypto is right now like a fledgling enterprise trying to find its legs, but we will soon see it fly.

Base on the current situation we are now in a dramatic changes of profit going down. This aren't new performance of prices in crypto it seems that this goes like a normal way by riding in this system. The form of cryptocurrency is not broken but it is just the way how this entire system perform.

The blockchain technology will not be broken, it will remain as it is until the end. The market might change because the demand change, the people change their mind there will come a time that the price will suddenly pump but will also suddenly drop. The coming of new oin also might affect it value, since these coins are serving as a competitor people might choose it over bitcoin.
