Title: Why do charters exist?
Post by: squatz1 on March 11, 2018, 07:09:44 PM
I've seen tons and tons of these people the charters, the people that think they're going to be able to predict the market movements by using fancy drawings, fancy math, etc etc. I don't see the reason for them here, Crypto doesn't seem to be something which can be charted / follows the charting ever. Most of these charters (if they followed their own signals) would be losing mass amountsof money

Why do people even give them the time of day? For echo chamber and false hope or--?

Because it's a forum and people are entitled to their opinion rightly or wrongly. TA has its uses, the most simple and accurate one being to identify levels of resistance and support, it just should not be treated as gospel, I have seen some very good charts and some really awful ones.
