Title: Which coins are the most profitable with erupters and best hubs? Post by: smeagol on October 15, 2013, 01:26:47 AM Hi, all!
I just got my first erupter and was wondering which coin is the most profitable to mine with erupters and which hubs are the best to expand. According to coinchoose, it's butterflycoin but I'm not sure if it will stay as most profitable. All the other coins are scrypt! Also, hubs. I was looking at http://dx.com/p/10-port-usb-2-0-hub-with-external-power-source-100-240v-ac-adapter-33189. Will this fit the bill? Also, are there any other supplies I need? I know erupter mining is not viable but I am doing it as a hobby now. Thanks! smeagol Title: Re: Which coins are the most profitable with erupters and best hubs? Merged mining is also a good idea.

At this price you can still make ROI and then some. The most profitable coin changes regularly so its hard to say what the most profitable one is. I've been using the hub for my BE's the OP linked to, however you'll need to make some modifications such as mentioned here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=303833.msg3300729#msg3300729 I've also removed the DC input jack and soldered cables directly onto the hub which I plug into the molex adapters on my PSU. You'll need to do this otherwise you'll end up with something like this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=253749.msg3168721#msg3168721 Title: Re: Which coins are the most profitable with erupters and best hubs?
