I have come across various cryptocurrency names and have found them pretty interesting.

Names are great when they have a reason behind them. Enkidu was my pick for my venture.
This name comes from the legend of Gilgamesh, where Enkidu protrays the rebellion against the existing system.
I find that perfect because isn't blockchain something that is disrupting the society right now? Even Enkidu's application is something that disrupts the existing business models.

Please share your opinion and if possible, with a reason attached.

Names have a great affection in one brand because in the name, people got curious in why this name pick or what is the meaning of this name why did they pick it. And if i would have a own cryptocurrency i would name GTS, because this is based on my name that means a bright pledge and i think people love it.

I like your name very much, cause I am fond of mithology. The legend about Gilgamesh is one of my favorite.
I would name my cryptocurrency Richycoin. The main interest of people to crypto-currencies is based on their desire to get rich. I'm sure that such a name will attract attention of all miners and those who wish to make a fortune on digital money.

I would probably be guided by the project itself, I do not think that the name of the project can be associated only with your imagination, I think that the name should be coherent with the project itself

RougeCoin. Would be developed as a first decentralized cryptocurrency used for making payments on the darknet. And the face of the coin would be a raider from Borderlands.

I'd probably name LimitNo. Just because, no one likes limits.

Yeah. The name gives out a lot, so it makes sense but I try to find a combination. I would like it to be a term I love also.

I like the name of the IOTA, because it's not just a name, it's sounds as Internet of Things Application. So the ideal name of a coin should be like this one

Not going to be effective way of investing  if you are picking coins with their names,a lot of factors should be considered not with good names,product,the team behind the coin their credibility,the roadmap and whitepaper should be good and there should be some partnership existing so that you will be sure that something will happen to these projects.

Let's say I have thought up a good name. Why publicly to tell it? That other person could him has used?

Name wont give big effect to your cryptocurrency,isntead of getting a good name you should be more focus on how you would develop your own coin,do something new is really hard,the ideas are there but sometimes you cannot produce good outcomes because you dont have the knowledge to finish the project,for me the name would be bonus to the project's quality.

Even though the name is a significant character of any project , it doesn't really matter, but what does strongly matter is the product ( coin/ token/ service ) itself ( what problem it does solve, its blockchain construction ...) because people prefer quality regardless of morphological constitution

Wow, a question for creative people out there!  ;D I am interested in Latin words and that is the reason why I would pick Cerebellum (as it means "brain"). I would say that Latin words are hiding something like a mystic power of the ancient Roman civilization. It would be a cool name for some deep-learning platform that would help people with investing, not necessarily in crypto (I know it is not something groundbreaking, but I am influenced by some projects that I have taken part in recently  ;)).

I feel like a coin that is named after bitcoin is gaining a great demand. Coin such as Bitcoin Gold, Bitcoin cash, and other Bitcoin related coin ia potential for growth. So if Ill be a able to name a coin I would add "bitcoin" before it. This actually cathes attention of most of the holder and expecting great return hearing the name bitcoin.

I've read a post about the Enkidu project and have a unique name, besides that they have a great bounty manager. Certainly not only his name is unique but with the concept that on offer can lure investors.

I will name my own cryptocurrency coin HODL. This is to remind people to always HODL their coins. When people  HODL their coin there is high demand in the market and it will force the price to go up

I'd name my crypto coin as 'victorious coin' because as we all know this cryptocoin reach us to become rich someday and to achieve our victory to the near future if we just strive hard were making millions in our pockets through bitcoin. ;)

No crypto project should be picked by its name, god forbid. It is just that a good name will be catchy and be good for marketing purposes. And also, it is always fun to have a reason behind the name.

Something like naturecoin, or ecocoin because I love nature and believe we must keep the earth's environment stable for the future.

It would have to be something veeeery catchy, something very hip and trendy and least, or you could just hire an agency and pay their creative people to do it for you, thats why they are paid to do it, they know how to do reaserch :)

Name of a particular cryptocurrency depends on the product to offer, if I would have my own cryptocurrency it will be named "ElectroToken" which will base on mainly technology improvement by implementing various electronics devices.

Actually I think a cryptocurrency name should indicate the project contains it, like if it's for livestream than CAM, STREAM. I don't know how the shinier names work, when people hear a shiny named coin they'll have to put some effort to figure out what the coin is about, making its less popular and user-friendly.

I do not know exactly how to call a coin, but the name should sound exactly beautiful and loud, and necessarily be associated with generally accepted signs of wealth and power or with the names of very famous and wealthy people or even with secret societies.

it's not so easy to come up with a good name for a coin. I like using creative approach to create names for a coin

Yes, name of a project is one of main parts but it is not a most important thing in a project, you need to take care about the quality and usfulness of your project, i think this is the main thing.

This will be really an interesting thing to do if we somehow manage to make this ever happen but the point is there is no such need of introducing our own crypto currency as the crypto currencies which are already there in the world of crypto are doing exceptionally well and that even if we manage to do so in some way, it will be an impossible sort of thing to make that coin a successful coin.

I would like something like Generation coin or NewEdge coin. It seems to me that it sounds very good.

I agree with that. Every coins name have a connection with its project itself. It will not be known if it is not related to the project. It is like your coins name will be the way to introduce your own project and to attract investors.

I do have a lovely and enthusiastic name which I can give to a project or even tweak it.  The meaning of my name gives hope and does describe my person so I would very well use my name.

I would call my crypto currency Bonicoin and I wanted my project to be engaged in tourism, because I really love traveling, but I do not have enough of those companies and applications that are in the tourism system, it seems to me they are not all finalized, I would if they created it such as there is no one else.

Maybe it would be a bit funny name for cryptocurrency, but I would call: DivineCoin.
