Bitcoin had off-spring that bitcoin worshippers called 'alt-coins' Bitcoin began to become famous. Bitcoin did not want to share its fame with its off-spring (the alt-coins) at first. But, the off-spring rebelled, and there was people willing to give the off-spring fame too.
