Title: Looking for a service that automates calculations for past TX's real value Post by: SFR10 on March 13, 2018, 09:37:35 AM I've been looking for a service or a way to automatically calculate what was the "real worth" for each of the past transactions on single address (with no luck), instead of seeing their "live value" (based on current prices on some of the explorers).
- I know I can do this manually by going over the available charts and simply use those respective numbers/rates in USD and multiply it by the amount of BTCitcoins each of those transactions had (in order to know its value in terms of USD, at that time) but the main issue is "TIME", especially for addresses with a lot of transactions. Is there a service that does this? You just need to click on the value amount to toggle between Bitcoin and dollar value. It will show you the current usd value but if you hover the mouse over it, it will also display the value at time of transaction. Don't know how far back it goes as I've only ever checked txs of my owm from last year.

I was aware of the toggle function on blockchain's explorer but didn't know the result by hovering over them (somehow I missed it [face-palm]). Thank you for this, you're a life saver (considering how long I've been looking for this).Don't know how far back it goes as I've only ever checked txs of my owm from last year. Did some digging and found out: It shows values/prices from 2010/08/18, till present:- That's the starting date (according to their chart (https://blockchain.info/charts/market-price?timespan=all)) that has value in it. - Checked also the transactions from this address (https://blockchain.info/address/1XPTgDRhN8RFnzniWCddobD9iKZatrvH4), (results are accurate). /locked. |
