Title: Is bounty hunting worth it?
Post by: ArteMixer on March 13, 2018, 11:01:00 AM
I started a campaign in bontyhive and found out that it will go on for about 2 months. Is it worth my time? it requires me to retweet 5 posts a week. So approximately how much will I get and is it worth it?

Well, once it started then finish, find out for yourself whether it's worth it or not. Do not throw

But is the payout real? I am promised to get 150$, which seems a bit unreal

I think focus on one bounty project is too little to earn, deal with just a large number of projects and it will be worth it

In the bounty site there is written the stakes that the bounty program gives for every different campaign. You only have to read the campaign that you want to participate.

It depends upon the allocation of the project to that certain campaign.

Joining bounty campaign is risky as you will just know the worth of your effort once distribution started and the token will have a decent price.

Is it worth your time? No one knows as refer to my statement above. And pointing to that 5 Retweet Post (basically Twitter), I don't see it as a difficult task and you can even finished it within less than a minute. Just don't expect too much for an easy task and take note always of the allocated rewards on a specific bounty so that you know if you are being paid fairly in the end.

I'm starting to feel that all these bounty and ICO programmes are a bit distasteful. Paying someone to re-tweet seems to defeat the basic concept of the platform.

I joined Steemit recently, and I've made a few posts. The first reply was the sort of thing you would expect, a friendly comment about a picture I posted. The second reply made me start to question the validity of the platform. It was from a guy who managed an upvoting bot, and he wanted a payment to upvote my post using his bot. I found this distasteful, and ultimately it will lead to people with money and influence dominating the page views. I think the the current methods of bounty programmes tend to indicate that they have no value, and may be contributing to the destruction of the reputation of members displaying their signatures.

There have been a few suggestions that Bitcoin Talk introduces an upvoting system, and I hope that this will never happen.

It looks like simply, but it's not. When u work on 20-30 campaigns and need to provide a quality content for each campaign - it's not the same to make "likes" & post smiles... IMHO

yes its worth it.. it is better than airdrop but airdrop is simple and easy to join so people prefer the airdrop there was some high paying airdrop like polymath

Bounty campaigns can be very lucrative.
You have to be on the lookout for campaigns with large bounty pools and few other bounty-hunters. This will maximize your gains out of the bounty.

Another nice thing is that most bountys are about ICOs, so you get tokens in the beginning of a project and an increase in price is very likely.
For example one bounty I did made a 3x on the tokens afterwards.

Last but not least it is a very nice way to get more BTC without risking any money in a trade :)

I wish you luck and lots of profit!

well, it all depends on you and how you intend to benefit from the forum. if you really want to earn big and enough you need to be ranked high, and for you to be ranked high your activity needs to be high and also dont forget to add value to the community.

as a beginner Bounty campaign is really where to start the journey and starting small wouldnt be a bad idea but then with time your earning will come when you rank high.

also for you to earn from social media, you also need to have enough facebook friends and twitter followers to build that you just need to start from where you are with the little friend you have.

you can as well join multiple social media bounty at the same time, cummilatively it would be worth something tangible. remember to select campaign with a good % of twitter and facebook %, the higher the % the higher your earning.
Regards.

You know that Bounty have variety of Campaign, and the lowest reward are in the Social Media Campaign, the highest is on the Signature Campaign (In my opinion)
Yes for me it's worth it, i got around $150 for FB + Twitter Campaign for 7 Weeks, the project called Debitum, and now it's listing on Kucoin, i'll keep holding the token until it reach x10 from the ICO price

Hi, if I were you, I would not abandon the job that was started. You never know how much you get for the bounty program. Some programs are pleasantly surprised.

Well, it's worth it only if the project is legit. If you worked for a month for $150 of token, that is not very much, especially if tokens will fall after they hit exchange. If they rise 10x then that's a good deal. Keep in mind that some projects can turn out to be a scam and you won't earn a penny

If you're busy with life, have a normal job, bounty campaigns are not worth the trouble. When you're taking a job (because bounty hunting is a job like any other) always look at it by comparing time with money. For instance the money you're getting could be 10% of your monthly income, but it could be 50% of it for just an hour a day spent at doing it. It all depends on your financial situation. You have to decide for yourself, but it's a great thing if you're in a poor country, working for a few bucks a day.

I have no idea it's worth or not. I just want to start to hunting any bounty/ airdrop. I will say bounty/airdrop is just for fun, not for main target in crypto. Perhaps I will change my mind in future after knowing how good I can get advantage from bounty.

It is advisable to look for such bounties in which the reward is paid in the form of coins rather than steaks. Then you will know what to expect. And if the bounty is known and paid in shares, then it will win several thousand people and the reward will be small. Especially if your social pages do not have many friends

It is really worth your time if you have good number of followers in social media campaigns, because im sure social media campaigns will be your only choice, because signatures requires jr.member or higher rank this only means that newbies will only be able to join social media campaigns, content creation and translation campaigns.

in bountyhive they tell you how to calculate the points and when it could correspond to you by campaign and good in my opinion if it is worth it and if you sign up in several you can have a very good income from all of them and of course it takes time but the wait is rewarding

It's depends on your stake calculation at the end of the bounty campaign. Worth your time? Yes it is, i believe doing a single retweet everyday will not takes so much time.
Is it worth? Yes it is, if the project are success and not scam.

It's very worth the stress, bountyhive campaigns takes me less than 2hrs each week and for example,if it lasts 8 weeks long(approximately 2 months),I am looking at just 16hours of work for 2 whole months.. Depending on the campaigns you joined though,I always do twitter,Facebook and telegram campaigns and the last one I did paid me more that I would have earned in 3months of doing a day job.
