hard forks are a big deal, not so simple. it might take quite a bit of time to actually do (monero i think already has a date as they apparently foresaw this happening)

Edollar
Electroneum(anti-asic stance in whitepaper)

If ETN follow their whitepaper statements, only small altcoins will be mineable by this ASIC.
GRAFT coin also reviewing the situation with  antiASIC fork (official statement from DEVs).

Mining is always the best way to save COINS, the algorithm is not very important, it is important that the development team holds the position to develop the coin.

Well if that’s your attitude...

In the graft thread the Devs are only discussing this, no decision as yet. While here you are spreading it like a fact. So either source the information or spread garbage. You thread, your choice.

I do agree, either it's official and a source is quoted or it's speculation and does not mean anything.

This is your problem the source ...
Google search my friend.
These are the coins that are thinking to change their algorithm and the point of this post is to verify if it worth the risk or not to buy the BAIKAL N
I can also understand that BAIKAL has here multiple accounts to support their products

Any other coin ?

So once the XMR fork occurs and updated GPU and CPU miners are released that support it, does that mean difficulty will go down since the Baikal-N and X3's that are "test mining" now, will effectively be shut out?

In other words, will XMR become more profitable again?

XMR will become more profitable again as it will take out the 70% of the network hassing power that it is now ASIC

THIS IS A PROPER SCAM THESE MINERS
THIS IS A SCAM AND WHO ORDERED ALREADY HAS TO FILE FOR A LAWSUIT !
This is old hardware and they and they don't inform the buyers that in 2 weeks they can not use it !
You will have 100% Refund if you go to court

If You look today hashrate from most of cryptonight coins and compare it to main pools, all available Asics are in full power. It will be interesting to see in too days what will happen after the fork, when all those hashing power transfer to small coins... diff. will go to the moon...
