How do I get my own virus?

Click on the details of one of the latest viruses. Now you should see a "Mutate" button. Enter the name of your virus and click it.

Can I make Ether from my viruses?

Yes! For every infected person your virus increases its value. The value depends also on how many people the other players infect. So it can increase or decrease over time. Once you withdraw your Ether, you have to wait 24 hours to withdraw again.

What is a mutation?

A mutation generates the next generation of a virus. Mutated viruses could be slightly better or worse. When a mutated virus infects people, the parent virus will infect more people the next time the action is triggered.

How do I infect people?

After you buy a virus you cannot infect people immediately. Look at the "To Infect" value to see how many people could get infected!

My Virus gets mutated by others, what happens?

Every time the mutated virus infects people, a small amount of people gets infected with the parent virus.

Why is the price of a mutation increasing every generation?

Because its potential can increase too! The better the potential, the more people will get infected.

How often can a virus mutate?

As often as you like. There is no limitation, so you can mutate until you are happy with its potential.

How many generations are possible?

As with the mutation, there is no limit. But be aware the price of a mutation keeps increasing too.

Why is the value/to infect estimated?

The value changes over time. It takes time to process your transaction, so you always see a value slightly out of time.

It is nice my advice that I can give you and give at least a free trial of your virus, so if you like the game then people will see that they will invest their ETH on it

The smart contract is already deployed, not allowing to recieve a virus without paying the small fee. Also there is no restriction on creating new Ethereum accounts, so you can potentially get as many virusus as you like.

I understand what you say but even a small 1-day test could attract many more participants

I don't fully understand what happens, gameplay wise, after you get a virus.

2. Virus1: mutated to Virus2
3. Virus2: infects 20 people

You have to wait 24h after you mutated the virus to withdraw ether. This is because if you had the first infection you could withdraw all ether, so its more a fair competition.

It triggles down the generations. If you have a Child which infects 50 people, as soon you hit infect 5 people are added to the parents stack. When you infect with the parent now it will take the normal infection + the 5 people from the stack.

Most profit from;
Gen1 with 5 Gen2 under or
Gen1 with gen2 with gen3 with gen4 with gen5 with gen6 under give more value?

It depends also on your luck,

gen1 could have a potential between 80 and 120, because the genesis virus has a potential of 100

gen 5 or 6 can have a potential over 200 but I saw a virus at this gen with only 50.

Mutate only the best viruses to achieve best results. So you could end up with something like:

1 gen1 -> 2 gen2 -> 1 gen3 -> 3 gen4

And if I withdraw ETH will it destroy the Virus in the change? Or can I withdraw multiple times from same virus?

You can withdraw as often as you like, but be aware that you have to wait 24 hours after your withdraw from that specific virus again.

after i click My viruses the map disappears and page does not seem to load any other elements besides the title and the 2 buttons, home and my viruses.

are there any special requirements to play the game?

Do you have MetaMask installed? Its a browser plugin to connect with Ethereum.

If you have no viruses this is the expected behavior, otherwise it will show a list of all your viruses

i know what metamask is, just don't have it installed.

how do i get my first after installing metamask?

Click on the Details page of one of the viruses, the enter a Name and click mutate. You can also click on the parent button if you want a lower generation :)

where I can see all the viruses? or I can only see the last 5 viruses.

If I bought a mutation from a virus gene with a potential of 100 and got a gene with a potential of 80, then I will get less than what I gave ETH? In this case, I lost?
