I am considering if I should quickly buy more into EOS now. What is EOS about? Without exchange support you'll see people selling to step out of it until after the swap, when medium/long term investors will buy back.

It just means that there will be a lot less uncertainty around the swap and people won't have to go through as much hassle. If the price pumps around the time it won't be because of this but because they're actually transitioning to the mainnet.

Moreover, EOS is already retraced more than 50% from its ATH so it is due for some gains and this announcement will have a positive impact on the price action of EOS in the coming weeks. The Bitfinex DEX on EOS could be very big news for it, it will be interesting to see how they implement it because it would presumably need cross-chain compatibility to be a success. There's no use having a DEX that can only trade EOS based tokens because there are none right now and it's going to take a lot to draw most of the tokens away from the Ethereum network. That said, it's ridiculous that binance wouldn't support it. I'm glad the EOS sale / airdrop is finally over and we get to see the real token in action. Considering Binance is a big exchange with a lot of active traders, it will have an impact to any coin/token it will support. If your a short term investor, I guess this is your chance to hoard and sell later when the market is good.
