That's funny the site now says the next estimate is 285,052,471 (+6%). I have seen it on Canada's Bitcoin Exchange as being 310 million ish (estimated). So we'll have to wait and see. the difficulty is going up about 30% per difficulty change http://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/difficulty look down the bottom. By my own calculations thats a 82% rise per month for last 2 months. With so many more preorders out there and new hardware annoucements and people not realising they are buying paper weights you are completely right. Something is wrong with the site right now, the estimate should be 400 million..
