If this is not a scam this could be the greatest project ever! Surely celebrities will invest and the bounty will be a success.
I think the value will rise high because of this popularity. I will look for this if this bounty comes out.

I am a Filipino and this kind of news (assuming not a fake one) makes me proud. It inspires me a lot bacause even a sport/showbiz/political icon can also be engaged in crypto, this only proves that crypto is for eveveryone ~ can be access despite of your race, gender and age as long as you are willing to do so.

If this is really true then PAC coin will be a legit alt and will never be a scam, I'm pretty sure of that because it sticks to Pacquiao's name which means that his reputation will be affected if he did something inappropriate.

In before Justin Bieber makes Canada weep and makes his own coin. Could also see 50 cent, Katy Perry, and Money Mayweather getting involved in this celebrity business, only question is which celeb coin will be #1. My money is on Kim Kardashian, she got legs for days.

We know how Manny Pacquiao's charisma. You wouldn't imagine him winning and getting a Senate seat in the Philippines. And him venturing in crypto will be a positive news not only for Fliipinos, but the whole cryptosphere. Currently, we have seen a lot of sports personalities including his rival Floyd getting into crypto as well.

But the way I understand it, he is venturing or just a investor and not launching his own PacCoin. Anyways, lets see how it goes to the fighting pride of the Philippines and this is really a welcoming news.

The point of what I want to say is that celebrities don't need GCOX to create their own cryptocurrencies. The only need smart manager and project developer and a financial asset that they surely have. There were already many similar projects like this mentioned in the thread but I don't see that they were successful.

But Manny isn't knowledgeable in crypto's so if this is real, he's a man that has a lot of things to do and he can't focus with it alone. What's on my mind is he will just put money on it and let GCOX work on it.

Senator Manny Pacquiao want to involve in cryptocurrency because he wanted to to pay for things like entrepreneurship ventures, charity events and connecting with fans. I think after that many celebrities will work out too.

But he did support and advertise cryptos like centra but it seems this project isn't active anymore.
If Pacquiao will launch its own coin it will be a a big milestone for embracing the cryptos by Filipino and can be a big help for enhancing the image of cryptos especially bitcoin in the Philippines. But I guess if they'll launch the ICO there's no need to have bounty campaign here as it will surely be a sold out.

Well not a surprise, now most celebrities has their own cryptocurrency being supported. From Pot Coin of Rodman? to Steven Seagull I think. With their popularity they can gather supporters with coins and can build a community with it. But, I hope they may have a tangible project behind so that this is not another case of pump and dump.

This is good news for us. It means that the cryptocurrency is real and even a celebrities wants to invest. Mr. Pacquiao very smart person, he want to be the first celebrities who own its cryptocurrency and wants and encourage his co-artist to invest to it.

American boxer Floyd Mayweather, who infamously defeated Pacquiao in 2015, has also thrown his support for cryptocurrencies by promoting blockchain firm Stox before its initial coin offering (ICO).

His Instagram post featured him with stacks of $100 bills and the caption, “I’m gonna make a $hit t$n of money on August 2nd on the Stox.com ICO.” This is despite the Stox Token sale being unavailable for him as it wasn’t intended for American citizens.

The company raised $33 million in 34 hours, reports Finance Magnates.

I laughed a bit when I read the article. So they used blockchain for... selling merch. ;D

I'm Filipino so I'm sure some people here might get enticed by the local celeb though I'm dubious about the use of these tokens. From what I understood each celeb gets to have their own token. But then again, I also don't want to underestimate fanatics, especially fan girls.

That platform would need more than Pac to get off the ground though. Maybe they can get Jolie in it? After all it already have a charity function.

Yes, there is already a coin which do have this name but I doubt that Pacquiao would really make his own coin and there no doubt that this would really be hyped and might pump as well.This would really be good for short term investors because I do have always the doubts that this would pump and then dump out.I have seen no special thing or characteristics with this coins but just pure hype.

Creating a token by celebrity cant be say that it will going to success but as a filipino not all the filipino can create a token which is good for Philippine community. But us far as im concerned the investor must see what the pac token can do for our everyday life what our the benefits of it

This is good news indeed and may attract more celebrities to invest in digital currencies the hype could pump the whole market and this helps the crypto currencies to be better known. But the problem is what features does this coin have is it backed up by good technology ? cause a celebrity alone isnt enough to attract investors.

I can't stop thinking though what will happen to the cryptocurrency in the Philippines if someone like PACMAN would introduce his own coin. This could be a good start of the people living in the Philippines influence by PACMAN to join cryptocurrency. So I guess this would be a revolutionary turn of event in the whole country the Philippines. As we all know that PACMAN is an 8th division world champion and a hall of fame in the world of boxing. So many people are following him even his social media like facebook and twitter. So it would be a great fortune to all the filipino who will come and follow PACMAN on the cryptocurrency.

We expecting too much. This is not how we should invest in one coin, but to be excited on what Sen. Manny Pacquiao bring in cryptocurrency with this endorsement is priceless. Remember just one thing, a man like manny with good heart been used by Arum for its gain. The news is positive, but i won’t step to much because of emotions and just research more about the coin. No, he is not the first and probably won't be the best one.

I just hope that Pacquiao really has an idea what he is going to enter this time. If this is just another whisper from one of his colleagues or one of his friends then I don't think that he will succeed in this. It is also possible that it is only his name and probably money that is involved here, and the rest is from the people who proposed this to him.

Wow that is great news, first Filipino who have created his own Cryptocurrency and first political people who seen how digital world currency is getting in the economy. Thanks in advance for anti corrupt project. Since Manny Pacquiao is a Senator I think he would not get any problem in implementing this project. Ive heard that news too that manny "pacman" Pacquiao will invest in cryptocurrencies. And will call his coin PAC coins. This a good news and maybe this will be the beginning that Philippines will adopt cryptocurrencies and will be legal.

Well I think it is a good chance at promoting celebrity status more than just how it is done on camera. I don't see it as creating FUD. It's one of a kind really. Sure celebrities can do better I think in this field of crytocurrency business. Let's wait and see if this works or not.

I haven't read much about this so called "PAC" coin that Manny is trying to push but the main problem right now is if it will be used on any platform or just riding on his popularity. What we need right now are innovations and not a popularity contest.

I will never invest in such projects. Trying to hide behind a celebrity's name reminds me of a Scam. In the first place should be the property of the project. The main task of the thimble is to divert the attention of the victim. The names of famous people perform this task. Think about it before you decide to give your money to the scammers.
