Title: [Scrypt mining] More than 4 GPUs on same PC
Post by: Lionel on October 16, 2013, 02:40:35 PM
How can i plug more than 4 graphics cards on the same PC?

I was wondering if some PCI Express 3.0 over USB adapter exists, so we can have even 15 Radeons plugged in via USB :)
For mining should be ok even if the bandwidth between GPU and RAM would be slow, because it does not count for this task.

I could not find such adapters, someone knows of them?

You can go up to 7 GPU per pc.

Things you will need:
1) motherboard that have at least 7 PCI-E (16x, 4x and 1x)
2) 1x to 16x PCI-E extender cable.
3) 16x to 16x PCI-E extender cable.
4) Custom casing.

Tata, you got a heater..
