I have few NEOs in my portfolio. Shall I hold it for long term or invest it in a good NEO based upcoming ICO like NEX?

Hold if and remember you are still able to staking your NEO in the network. Rather the speculating your amount in the NEO ico and it may better for you to keep them all. If the price of NEO back again to the $150 and you will be getting a decent profit.

I would recommend to hold NEO for long term. NEO is wonderful project and is the most serious competition to Ethereum. NEO's price is good now, so buy and hold.

IMO, if you're holding NEO, keep doing it, because NEO is considered very promising crypto, it's like China's Ethereum. NEO exchange rate dump in the past due to the Chinese government's decision to ban cryptocurrencies. But I believe that the government will refuse this ban, and the NEO will rise again, promising to reach the $ 2,000 level by the end of 2018.

I'd hold that NEO too, it still has a great margin of developement.

I'd never invest randomly into ICOs. Only do that if you're sure that the team & project will succeed, and even then proceed with caution.

NEO can be better than Ethereum in the future but like others crypto, NEO has high volatilty so will be better trade it by long term trading to maximize the profit. But for hodling also will promising good return because this coin has strong fundamental, this platform was supported by Chinese government and the team founder also solid to more development the platform.

NEO is a better asset for a long term Hodl. Currently Few NEO based good ico projects are growing there. But I think Its better to Hodl your NEO more than investing on icos.  If you need to invest, choose short term NEO icos or ETH based projects.

In my opinion, you better invest only NEO, because Neo has a very good prospect and promise. Prices for now also have risen rapidly, especially later. Already many large investors and small investors who joined into the Neo project. They believe that by investing in Neo they will get multiple benefits. Better hold neo for long term and wait for it to grow, neo has lot of potential considering that it is still developing. Hopefully it could reach at $200 by the end of this year. By the way I'm also holding neo.

for now, you better ant you. because it is currently in a state all are being erratic. and constant stability is required. with you selling your coins, you can get an undesirable price. so to reduce your losses just wait for the stability of the situation.

if you have only few NEO , then you should invest it in ICO to increase you money by 2-3x then hold it and you can generate money through staking as NEO gives free GAS .

I also have neo and i prefer to hold it rather than use it to invest in neo based ico because i think it is more stable and reliable as an investment and i don't like higher risk for crypto. If there's a lot of icos on neo then the project will develop even more and the value of your holding will increase compared to waiting for an ico until they release their product.

yes if we do not have financial problems we have to coin whatever his name we have, it makes long-term assets just so we can reap the results in the future

I think NEX is a good investment choice because NEX intends to build a decentralized exchange, and as we all know, NEO has a huge user base, so NEX has enough users. ;D

NEO in the future will grow. Projects appearing on its plate, will only contribute to its growth. In this regard, I think that it will be right to invest in NEO.

I think that both variants are possible. But investing in ICO is more profitable and more risker too, but hold also can bring you good profit and it is more safety for your funds.

Thank you all friends for your valuation suggestion and opinion. I have invested in few other etheruem based projects recently and still waiting to get a good return from them. But the condition of the market is not so good at the moment, so I think its better to stick with a more stable coin like NEO at the moment for long term hold, instead of jumping into a new ICO.

NEO is a very good coin and i prefer NEO over Ethereum,

If you're risk appetite is lower, you can hold your NEO and get also some GAS Tokens
But if risk appetite is much higher, you can find a good NEO based coin, as many ICO are also using NEO Blockchain instead of mostly used  ERC-20 of Ethereum Blockchain, one gem coin in ICO under NEO Blockchain is effect.AI as its development of decentralizing Artificial Intelligence, thus AI will be cheaper and more accessible.

Thus ask first your risk appetite and decide in which you invest in the long term.

what NEO ICO do you want to invest to? Are there any reliable?

If NEO platform is going to succeed long term then I think it will outperform mostof the asset listed on it, just like ethereum has putperformed most of the tokens listed on it. NEO has some question marks that has not been answered and I think the future is not that bright the way people may think

Holding will give you some NEO gas of course.

In overall you can get 100% percent profit  by end of the year by holding  :)

But as we all know good ICO's give at least 100% profit.
As NEO platform is not famous as Ethereum most of the ICO's in NEO are good ones. (No scams)

So if you participate 5 ICO's this year with the profits of previous ICO's (Assuming profit is 100%)
you will have 2*2*2*2*2  = 32 gain. (If everything goes well)

If everything goes well you can get 3200% gain by end of the year form ICO's   8)

None of them is a good choice. You should combine them, I would invest 70% of my reserved money to NEO and rest for ICOs.

I think investing ico in the neo base is better because you besides waiting for your neo also waiting altcoin in ico give you more neo. so your profit will be 2 times bigger than holding neo.

Yes. Neo is a best long term investment. This coin has a huge potential to grow. It's stable and more secure. If you wish to take more risk and seek for high profit, put some low amount for good neo based ICOs. But it should only be on good ICOs.

If a NEO ICO become amazing, it will be good to the NEO coin anyway.

So better invest in NEO coin, than gambling on the fact that a NEO token will maybe works so well later.

I would offer you to split ypur portfolio. You need to hodl most of the NEO and part invest in hyped ico lile effec.ai what are also based on NEO. And part in NEX . But as i know NEX will lock tokens for one year.

Hodl NEO for long term as you will also earn Gas from it. Also you will earn nice return due to increase in price after hodling for such a long time.

I think investing in the platform itself is a good idea and secure investment rather than investing in an ICO that being launched. Though, ICO can provide much more profit if has utility and is legit, but staying safe is much more important. I would recommend you to let your investment be in NEO because I personally think that this coin will be huge in future in terms of price as well as technology and market capitalization. Yes hold NEW till 2022 or 2023, actually i am going to hold as many coins as i could for atleast 5 years. Selling something this year is risky, just invest and forget for few years. Crypto is not gonna die.

I agree. NEO is quite promising project and still has much more growth potential than many other top crypto currencies. NEO is also called as Chinese ethereum and the team working on NEO is transparent and hard working. China surely wont ban crypto currencies, but it will regulate it.

NEO could hit $1000 mark by the end of this year, but I don’t think it will reach $2000 mark, cause for that it will require huge market capitalization and massive support from new projects and ICO. I wont say its impossible, but its surely difficult.

Coincidentally, that's my biggest investment strategy in 2018. NEO will bring a lot of profit to us by the end of 2018. Its price will be pump and the value of NEO will be multiply 10 times compared to the present time. So I decided to invest $ 7k in NEO and hold them until the end of 2018.

Wait and wait to for the increase in coins. but if there is a better chance to install it ini a good Neo ICo like Nex.

Invest in NEO based ICO but I would suggest to leave bigger stake in NEO itself and also dont forget to collect GAS from Binance or NEON wallet.

I pretty sure NEO becomes very stronger and maybe It reached very high price soon,  Sometime maybe NEO can better than Etherum in the future. I researched abount NEO project, very experienced team members in here. Nice development filed in here.So i'm pretty sure this become successfull ICO.

          This time I have 12 NEO coins, However i'm hold it. because NEO has long jurney.NEO project is better to invest long term.

This would entirely depend on the quality of the ICO.
Another thing to consider is the current state of the market (which will actually work in your favor).
The crypto market has been down for 3 months straight now, it is ready for another fantastic bull run.
Looking at conditions, it will probably be late april/may.

So, if you jump in on an ICO right now, it can potentially be released to exchanges right when the market is exploding, means crazy gains.
Then, you can always just trade those profits for more neo, giving you a higher amount than before.

Basically, what I'm trying to say is that you can do both!
Neo will become ETHs #1 competitor this year, there is enough space in crypto for both of them to go into the thousands.
If there is a coin that you really believe in and want to hold, then actually, you should be making strategic trades to increase the amount of that coin you have.

Of course, neo is pretty cheap now compared to just a week ago, so you can just straight up buy more if you want.

Hold for long-term Neo only. Even, currently NEO is struggling, block chain having problems, and do not invest in any altcoins Neo-based as I hardly seen any Neo-based chain or support ICO's successful. It is my suggestion hold Neo for long-term only.

I would advise simply to keep on the purse of NEO. This coin can grow so well in value, why should you risk and invest it somewhere?

I will buy NEO storage until it raises as ETH and dedicates a little bit to the ICO. If there is a profit I will sell it and buy NEO again. NEO is developing very well and has NEP-5 token. I believe the value of NEO will continue to increase in the future. Keeping NEO is a safe option.

I feel NEO at $105 is over priced and investing in NEO coin or  NEO based ICO will not  be advisable because  it has been trading below the ico price. May now that the price has gone down to $70 maybe you can buy and resell once the price goes up.

That's the problem with NEO, the coin itself is often more valuable than the tokens on it's chain ;D For them to become more favourable the ICOs need to offer a serious discount for early investors otherwise it is better to hold NEO instead. Good projects coming up this year so Ethereum had better watch out as NEO is probably better in technological terms.

In my crypto currency portfolio there is no this coin, but I think that it has very good prospects. The Chinese government will do everything possible to make NEO an analogue of the Ethereum.

Indeed, NEO is a competition to ETH and I am sure that it might even overcome ETH in the coming years for it holds better technology than ETH and also has smart contract application. NEO is also said to have much higher scalability when compared to ETH.

Do not try to invest NEO in ICO projects. Hold on to a long perspective and this will bring you profit. Many people rely on NEO. It is expected that in 2018 the price will rise to $ 800.

neo is nice to be invested in the long run. but if you have a lot of capital, you can try on ripple and ethereum. I think the three coins are most contorted in the altcoin category. it's up to you long or short term. certainly, the future of the three altcoins is quite brilliant

Currently, most of the ICO projects based on NEO have dropped below the issue price, so if you want to invest in NEO's ICO project, you can buy directly from the exchange.

Hold and participate for me both are the best ways because it's a win win situation if you didn't participate on both of them you will miss the opportunity on the other one but if you do both nothing will left on you and you will gain a much bigger profit.

I think long term investment in NEO is far better than investment in NEO based ICO.NEO is Chinese ETH and its project team is engage in making different improvements in its technology or you can say its updated version of ETH.NEO is having high fluctuations and short term trading is not preferable do long term trading as this coin is carrying high potential to overcome ETH in coming some years.Currently price is low good chance to invest and hold it till the price hike so that you may get maximum profit.

almost all altcoin falls now, and almost half its value is lost. I think it's great to collect potentially potent altcoins in the coming months. yes, neo included is on my purchases list. I think there are some more that are pretty good and currently quite cheap.
