I went to order ethereum from from bank account and it took 7 days. I ordered $1000. And when the order went through today coinbase is showing I only have $740 worth of ethereum. Coinbase is getting annoying now with taking forever to do transactions and the high fees along with the IRS tracking everyone on coinbase defeating the cryptocurrency decentralization aspect. I'm just mad I lost $260, I'm assuming the ethereum was "bought" 7 days ago and the price went down which is bs because it should I gaurentee you if I bought ethereum 7 days ago and the price triple then I wouldn't have $3k in my account.

Somebody change my mind and make me like coinbase.

The story you tell is very strange to me. I have been working with coinbase for 2 years and I have never had any problems. I consider coinbase one of the best exchanges available

Yesterday also i have transferred 0.05 bitcoin to the exchange but I am really confuse about your review on Coinbase. I have holded around 0.8 ethreum in their wallet. Still I didn't get any issues on hiding the fund on coinbase.

Segwit enabling also in progress now. I found fees has been already reduced when comparing with the past 2 months before. Within some weeks once segwit is 100 percent everyone will have a cheap fees like electrum users getting now.

coinbase’s popularity is very high and there should not be any major problems. The reduction of your funds should be the result of the falling currency prices.

A very serious difference of 250 dollars, that's terrible. In General, the Commission can be serious, I have faced with exchanges where very serious commissions are taken, to solve the situation only by the method of alternative services and options.

Coinbase is a good exchange, and of course you will still incur some problem like that but doesn’t mean its a scam. Maybe your bank is scam, seriously try to ask the support team to address your problem properly.

Coinbase can have high fees, and it depends on how you made your order, but it is certainly not a scam.
However 25%+ fees sounds really bad, too much. Maybe you should connect your bank in this issue.

However, I made a transaction from my bank account once, and boy the fees were high. Also, it took plenty of days aswell. So I believe the fees are high because of your chosen method of payment, I believe its because of the transactions between the banks, not because Coinbase's internal system or fees.

Any fees higher than that are caused because of the banks, you should hate them, rather than Coinbase.

not really that coinbase is bad or a scam, the problem there is that wen purchasing from your bank the price is always higher (fees) but from ether to banks is lesser. sometimes i wonder why the price is always high that way.
so coinbase is not scam, it's a good platform for exchange.

it is not a scam, but i think to prevent this problem we need decentralized exchanges. because the trading hardship and also risks in centralized exchange increasing.

I think coinbase use rate when you buy it at 7 days ago and your bank transfer after 7 days come
and now ETH rate is goes down I think will same if you buy at 7 days ago and hold it

Wow this is huge difference and I'd say it's unusual situation that I've never experienced. It could be the high fees (bank, card issuer, exchange, etc). I'd say check with their customer service and with your bank just to make sure where it went wrong.

I love coinbase. I've never had any issues with it.

Quite adequate explanation, what you do not like? Do you really think that any exchanger will work at a loss? the purchase and sale of the token was made at the rate that was 7 days ago, and the air was long enough to be likely due to a small amount of gas.

all this time I know the popular market coinbase, and never experienced serious problems, if the matter of fee increase is still limited reason, because the famous market would be expensive transaction costs

Coinbase doesnt' take a 25% fee.  Ethereum has fallen in price. 

Also,  you should be able to look at the detail of your order with fees shown on coinbase without. 

If Ethereum had tripled in price you actually would have more in your account.

Coinbase buys it at the market rate that day using GDAX and then holds it until your funds clear.

So....I really think you are just mad.  Don't worry.  You are in good company.    I used GDAX to set buy limits to what I thought was as low as ETH would go weeks ago. and it hit yesterday....I was wrong. lol.  Now I'm on the losing end of the stick as well.

And don't use coinbase.  Use GDAX their trading platform.  You can login using your coinbase details.

This would really be connected on Bank fees but talking about 25% deduction on overall transaction then it is already high and not tolerable and should really be complained if this is the case.I haven't tried out to make buying out coin direct on coinbase from my bank.If op did make transaction on where ETH was still on high price and it did drop after 7 days which his coin being credited and have such deduction it wont really still considerable on having this kind of big deduction to the entire amount.The best thing for now is to contact support of coinbase and ask regarding this issue.

LOL. I never hearing anybody complain about Coinbase :)). I've used Coinbase as a wallet for years but everything is very smooth until now. It's a most truthworthy online wallet and exchange that I know until now. The only thing that I don't like of Coinbase is it's not support for every country all over the world so I only can use it like a wallet to store my crypto but I can't use it to buy ETH or BTC with my credit card.

I also used the coinbase but he is different because it is difficult to cashout the amount to be done not like coins.ph that is easy to cash out money so for me it is not trustworthy I know if it is true that the coinbase now .

Coins.ph is a local exchange unlike coinbase and it covers a lot of coins compare to coins.ph.

Coinbase is a legit exchange and it's trusted so for someone who's complaining without basis as you've said, you better give a detailed explanation why coinbase for you isn't trustworthy.

No, Coinbase is not a scam. I always use Coinbase wallet where to hold ETH. Coinbase is really safe, and it does not look like what you say. You should contact Coinbase support team as they will probably have the answers for you

I'm surprised at what you wrote here! I have been using their service for a very long time and have never noticed any problems in working with them! Perhaps you have not considered something ..?

yes.that is not a scam.i always use the exchange.It may be a technical issue.you should send email to ask the question.you will get the answer soon.

You are totally correct,  it's a technical issues,  coinbase is not a scam,  I also make use of coinbase and I've not experienced what Op discussed above,  you have to lodge complain to the customer service

For a year now of using Coinbase in a more centralized legal way, I’m sure I haven’t experienced this kinds of issue or having troubles in depositing and withdrawing funds. If it does happen to you, I hope you’ve updated this thread with updates on how the support team have handled this problem and if it was resolved for good. I do used it for public convenience only.

Coinbase is a well known exchange and I have had 2 years of experience using it, and currently I am still using it. Along with Bittrex and Poloniex, Coinbase is one of the most reputable exchange of crypto. Your case is rare and I think you should open the ticket and clearly state your issue, I think the problem will be resolved quickly.

This might be correct but not really sure! The coins you bought arrived after 7 days.
You bought it 7 days ago with the bank and that time ETH was a bit high, and look at the price of ETH with coinbase after  a week was low.
This will made an effect on your coins. It is really the price now!

I really feel sorry to hear about this but I thing this is a bit strange because I have been using coinbase for a while now and since I have been using it, I have not had reason to complain or regret using it as it is good and legit exchange to me.

Expected to happen on a heavily regulated exchange like Coinbase which bank transactions would really have that kind of duration and this is why its not really ideal for you to use it when
you do seek out profits on doing trading or conversions.Im also a Coinbase user but not actually tended on trading purposes because delays can really fucked you out.

No,  coinbase is not scam,  coinbase is legit as good,  you don't need to fear,  Just make use of them,  their customer service is quite cool , as far as I know coinbase is one of the most reputable exchange in crypto market,  Just do it,  register with them and enjoy your trading with them

As the person sending the coins to show you on the blockchain the funds are being processed. A random screenschot can indeed be photoshopped, and you would never know. I have used coinbase to exchange things many times, and have had no issues with them myself. I know others have.
Unless the transaction shows up on the blockchain, blame the sender first, let them take it up with coinbase on your behalf.

Understand it is not in the exchange itself, but in the token course, that is, when you withdraw a token from the exchange, you agree with the terms that when withdrawing funds a transaction may take some time and at the time of completion of the transaction the token rate may be different

You have to provide strong evidence about CoinBase is a scam, while some people here say CoinBase is a good exchange on the Crypto market. as far as I know coinbase is the most liked place for many people to do trading there.

Wow you must really not know about wallets. Have you ever actually signed your own transaction and broadcast it? Can you guarantee at any time if you want to withdraw your coin, Coinbase will allow it and process it properly? Can you set your fees exactly? Can you send to bech32 addresses? Can you claim any tokens or splits or forks by yourself?

Tell you the answers: no. If you use Coinbase you rely on Coinbase.

Use a real wallet and stop trusting Coinbase. Or did we forget what crypto was all about?

AFAIK, yes they are one of the most secure and well known company and good to know that you haven't experienced any bad thing to them. But I reckon what leea is telling you, you shouldn't rely to an exchange as your wallet. You may not know what will happen inside them in the future, you better hold your private keys/seeds.
