Title: +1 for mukundh3 Post by: Benson Samuel on October 17, 2013, 02:10:00 AM Sent out a double payment to mukundh3 late last month in error. Unfortunately, mukundh3's funds were moved before he could return the double payment.
Contacting Coinbase turned up a blank as the payment had been pushed from my wallet. Due to the nature of the transaction, mukundh3 had sent out the payment to a 3rd party directly through escrow. It was quite a bad hit for me and almost wiped out some recent escrow fees. mukundh3 was awesome in this instance as he refunded 75% of the amount sent in a double payment. He did this even after I agreed to swallow the loss. While it was disappointing not to be able to get back the entire amount, I am aware of a recent case where the buyer completely refused to refund the double payment sent by the seller.
