Title: Would it be possible to get cheaper BTC in Ripple?
Post by: tokeweed on October 17, 2013, 02:13:04 AM
Sometimes I notice that you could get cheaper BTC in Ripple compared to the price at Bitstamp.  Why is this?

... Makes me wish I had a lot of XRP right now.

There is no liquidity on the order books. I've noticed limit orders tend to stay on the book a long time, and after BTC makes a big move, they are still sitting on the book. Unfortunately, there is so little liquidity that there isn't usually much to take advantage of.
