Title: Anyone has actually lost confident in the Crypto Market? You shouldn't do that
Post by: puremage111 on March 15, 2018, 06:53:56 AM
Anyone has actually lost confident in the Crypto Market? If yes, you should change your mindset or else you will be leaving the boat soon
Why do i say so?
Based on current market trend, the market might even slip down lower, back to $6K BTC, $300-400 ETH

If you starts to feel not confident in the market, how can crypto market even growth?
If people who actually in the crypto forums who actually gain access to knowledge of Blockchain, Pros and Cons of Cryptocurrency and Etc are actually fading off their confidence, how would people who are not in the Crypto Scene? They will definitely think that Crypto is just a PnD Scheme

Change your mindset, regardless on how much you have lost.
Perhaps you might lost in terms of money or your portfolio value, but remember, this brings awareness to the Crypto Market. How the Crypto Market reacts will decide how people treat it in the future

no my mindset has been the same for about 3 years now. altcoin market IS a pump and dump scheme to make more money and nothing else.

i only believe in bitcoin and 2 other projects which i won't name (they are not in top 10). and  from what i see, nobody around here is interested in the technology otherwise the top 10 would have been a very different set of coins instead of it being coins like ethereum and ripple!!!

so my attitude towards such market is only taking advantage of the opportunities to make more of what i believe in, meaning more bitcoin and the other 2 coins and only use them to benefit from them.

my belief is very simple, i ask myself this question: who will be a bigger winner? someone who holds 100 bitcoin or someone who holds 100 altcoins 100 of each?

That's the problem with Crypto Market i believe, that's why it will take a long time for its cycle to get to Mature Stage from Growing i believe?
In the end, you still believe in Crypto market as long as you believe on at least 1 coin  :P
But yeah, i would say the Rate of success overall for crypto that will survive will be lesser than the dot com bubble
Perhaps 5%? will survive?

What's your point of view on the revolution of Crypto

I agree with that BTC loving dude (lol, what a name) to some extent. For most projects it's not about the tech, very few even have a working product. Still, crypto is here to stay, though not every company can the next Apple or Microsoft. If you view most coins as what they are, an opportunity for pump & dump, it can still be worthwhile.

I really wonder what the market will look like in a few years. Will it always be that volatile? Or will some coins essentially become analogues to current major currencies like the Euro or Dollar?

A lot of new people come to the space in the hope that they will get quick profit but as we have all seen the market has suffered a huge dip and they are leaving in disappointment, alot of people mentioned BTC long term holder but fail to realise that the price has suffered so many dip along the way but they stuck and believe in their investment

Crypto market always valotile. We saw this picture and charts before. It can fall more but for sure market will recover and closes the gaps.
This is drawing same chart as we saw on 2012-2014 same story mtgox and will recover same way too.

Its quite natural to feel something like this when the prices are falling. In fact BTC's price has been falling from the past 3 months which is why many people including myself are a bit worried about the price of BTC whether it will increase or not and if yes, then when. I do have a belief in BTC and its technology which is why I have been holding BTC since the beginning. I hope BTC will recover the price in a few months soon.

Its a great thought and really good advice. Most people are used to the extreme market fluctuations, and believe in the tech enough not to give up, and i think this is one of the biggest positives in crypto!

We have to admit that the worldwide adoption of cryptocurrencies had triggered an eyeing from governments and leaders too who in a bid to protect their economies are putting in place all kinds of measures.Thats what basically is causing market turbulence Fi late in my opinion but the point is that cryptocurrencies are decentralized and will continue to perpetuate even if governments don't want it like that

I do not know what to do! but from year to year the price of Crypto is increasing. And it also takes time, not instantly.
therefore I just HODL and wait. that's what I do.

I still have confidence about future of cryptocurrencies and there is no reason to blame the bear market which happens in all finacncial markets. Mentioned arguments are right in some point but believing in value can make me to hold my coins no matter what heppens on background. Crypto market will find its way sooner or later, the only thing we are supposed to do holding till that date.

If only everyone in the crypto boat is of mature thinking, any serious dump could have been avoided. However, we all know for sure that not just one or two or even ten or a hundred are acting without really thinking. There are thousands of weak hands in this boat. I am quite certain of that. I have a question for you. Why are FUDs so effective these days? It is not because, as FUDs, they are really effective. It is because it spreads fast and wide as air. And people are more willing to buy the FUDs rather than a rational and proper explanation of events. We have to counter this kind of mentality.

I think this is a key point here; it's more educational and long-term analysis that people require. Anyone being scared by the current dip(s) likely just bought in at twice the price and tried to make it quick. We've got fairly limited data, all things considered, to posit in-depth ideas. Further, as countries bounce back and forth in their stance on cryptos/btc/blockchains and policies change, it's very expectant to see volatile change.

I always tell people, similar to investing in 'standard' stock portfolios, that research is key. You can't expect to have a stable/confident mindset if you're unsure of what you're actually investing in and the real world changes that are going on and affecting policy and business day-to-day.

The market is not only surely going to recover, but it'll almost definitely see more dips and climbs.

Personally, I don't mind these sort of dips as it seems (to me, an uneducated buffoon), that it's also serving to weed out some of the (many) trash altcoins. Only the real applicable alts will survive these dips as the 'common folk' dump when the going get tough.

Not even crypto market, any market you take there will be volatility. But our patience is the most important in the market. Especially do not panic in the falling market. I just HODL till the market become green.

Good point. However I think that only those new to investing are losing confident in crypto market. I had experienced it first hand during my early days in investing stocks but not in crypto because I had experienced it already.

Also we had already experienced many severe downtrends last year and early this year.  These lower lows today is not new.

Bitcoin and Ethereum might go back to 6000$ and 300$ respectively but I believed it will recover soon.

Crypto-money markets are relentless, so you should learn to stop losses and stop profits. Long-term hold is a good idea, but most of the time you have to learn these trading strategies.

My hopes are high. Better we get rid off bad apples. Maybe that process is suffering but reward can be big.
