Title: Helpfull spreadsheet to judge cryptocurrencies
Post by: joriscomparator on March 15, 2018, 03:03:39 PM
Hi guys,

I am a Dutch student who has developed a spreadsheet to judge the prices of cryptocurrencies. The prices of 34 popular coins are compared with the value of reference coins as the Bitcoin and Ripple taking in to account the quantity of the coins. Also important information as transactiondata and reviews are included.
If you’re interested just send an E-mail to this adres joriscomparator@gmail.com with just "request information" and you will receive a Wordfile with more information and a part of the spreadsheet.

Joris

Why not just upload it to Google Docs or something? Personally I don't have much interest in this spreadsheet, but even if that was not the case, I would sure as hell be reluctant to open this type of a file from an unknown source. Also "Wordfile" for a spreadsheet? Something doesn't add up..

Better not write on -. They can send you a file that when opened it can steal all your passwords, if they are on the computer.

As if a thief would say that he's stealing something.

You should post the spreadsheet online then, on Google Docs or a similar platform that's easily accessible and secure. I would be hesitant to open attachments from much more established members than yourself, and I'm sure there the majority of us here will have similar reservations.

It's unfortunate, but we don't know if you're telling the truth or not and dishonest people would take advantage. You're talking about spreading a file download from an unknown source within a forum that specializes in people keeping money on their computer(s)! You may be legitimate, but unfortunately it's not worth it for people to take chances. As others have said a better/safer option is putting the info online with a known source like Google Docs. If you're looking for feedback you'll get a much better response like that.
