$300 is a price that most people will pay to get their data back.

they should have shown the bitcoin address in the screen shot, then we could trace it, duh!

Well, you can trace a MoneyPak redemption, so they can't be that smart.

BTW , luckily this doesnt affect VSS ... so if you have any recent volume snapshots, which windows makes periodically, all ur files are safely in there, not encrypted =)
