Title: Mac OS X 10.8.5 bitcoin-qt client hogs the CPU and practically overheats my CPU Post by: manuel on October 18, 2013, 06:34:14 AM I'm sure this isn't the right forum but I can't post anywhere else ???
Is anyone familiar with this problem? Obviously this can't be right - I'm not mining I'm just trying to open the client to sync up the last few months of transactions but it's fully loading my CPUs (all cores, looks like). Any recommended places to ask this question? And it wasn't doing it for a few seconds it was doing it non-stop as long as the application was open...
