I saw a surprising news about google that would ban cryptographic ads, whether this would have a bad impact on bitcoin and altcoin prices ..

what will happen if this really comes true?

Not much , most of the ads there about crypto are scams either way. And how much people on here do you think bought crpyto because of a google ad?

You have your point, most of the ads are ICO’s so I think they’re the one who are affected on this if this is gonna happen in june. Well, many negative news about cryptocurrency early this year what else can we expect? I hope for everyone’s success here even if the market is going down.

Social media helps a lot in promoting bitcoin and cryptos and because of this news it would be difficult to spread the news about cryptos and might be the reason to decrease the demand since popularity will going to be a big issue now. I hope this is not permanent or instead of banning all ads maybe just putting restrictions to adds.

Yes they did. Frankly it is better for everyone, because often advertisement about crypto-currencies were a mix of shady cloud mining companies and bad ICOs. Protecting people so they are not disgusted is the best to have them come to Bitcoin.

What I've found with Facebook ads and now Google is that you can advertise ICO projects as long as their not explicitly raising right now.

Either way, the highest quality ICOs should have good enough teams that they can actually generate PR from journalists. I'd expect lower quality ICOs to be the ones relying on advertising to bring in users.

absolutely nothing will change. all these platforms are banning the advertisement of cryptocurrencies mainly because of all the scams that they have been putting people through, scams such as ICOs and scams such as fake/malicious websites with similar names as wallets, exchanges,...
and in the end we may see some dumb panic sell temporarily before everything comes back to normal again. the FUD and panic sells can not last for eternity you know!

With the news, there will be price changes in every crypto coin. Currently, the price of coins is declining, but we do not know for sure next month will rise. If Google does that, it means the same as Facebook.

Maybe they have issues on cryptocurrency thats why they banned it, since crypto has many branches especially in altcoin i guess it would be difficult for google to focus on what crypto their going to permit, so they banned all for fair and no hustle to them.

And for making money with Google ads you have to play fairly with their T&C. I am not surprised by this news they ban to ads for try to stop fraud and protect the investor. Now Crypto currency and bitcoin so risk and people are afraid of this news.They think if google and facebook ban bitcoin will be ended or die but it's not possible .Bitcoin  will be moon soon but this year not for crypto currency so hold your bitcoin never sell this panic time

I don't see the logic why will the google banning ads about crypto currency will affect the current price of cryptos? First of all most of the advertisement on google are from startup project/ ICO. They are the one will be affected by means of their token sales and most altcoins listed on the exchange are not doing any advertisement anymore. Second and last part in my point of view. There are so many social media platforms out there that can be use to put the ads including applications in Both mobile gadget and PC.

Google also banned porn ads a long time ago.  Porn ads were 100% legitimate but Google wants to maintain a certain level of morality and ethics in their ad network.

Dont think this will really affect btc as most already have site where they see new i c o, news about tokens...  Bitcointalk ban is the only ads that can affect Crypto if they ban it...

I know there are many social media can be used for crypto advertisement and i also agree with you that it can not affect Crypto prices. But there are too many FUDers out there. They always have the overreaction to the information and sell in panic. Besides, there are also have Whales Sharks use these pieces of news to dump coins in order to buy with cheap price.

Advice like this should be downvoted to the ground. Bitcoin people should not be meat fodder for whales to get rich. If a trend is down; sell, then buy more at the bottom to promote your own mental health.
Once you see Bitcoin is failing to overcome resistance of the previous resistance/support area for days in row and the trading volume keeps diminishing, especially if the market is already in the bear mode. Sold mine at 9k area, bought back 1k cheaper. I don't feel like I've betrayed the idea of Bitcoin.
I don't think you have either, I wasn't coming from there. I am saying that even if your theory is accurate, the vast majority of Bitcoin holders would lack the skill set to know when to sell or buy.
Hey that's me! I know my limits. So I use my lack of skills to time the markets by hodling long-term. And in the end, I think the technology is something I just really want to be a part of as well. It is a great idea against fiat and inflationary currencies. Let's see how far this ride takes me!

The news to be checked further as I notice that other news of Zuckerberg from TV interested in and will learn Cryptosurrencies. I do not see the proof of Facebook news to ban crypto related as in the fact there are still a lot of crypto activities such as group or status etc in Facebook. So I do not believe the news of Google, need any other news to confirm.
I just follow your imagine if that is really comes true, I imagine there will be an ICO to build a search engine with similar to Google just in short time ^_^.....That ICO must be SOLD OUT.... :D

I'm sure there's a best way out for this to keep investors protected from fraudulent projects and make investors grow in the future ...

I think Google will not affect the price, although on the other hand,if there is bad news about bitcoin,people are likely to start to lower the price themselves

This news was released days ago but yes this was confirmed by google. I think somehow this is a good news because google just wants to protect their users from the scam ICO.

Also i think  same with facebook you will still see crypto ads as long as it is a trusted project.

If monetization is rather the issue for bloggers, they can still install a monero javascript miners in their blog, that way they could still earn, more importantly their blog will be cleaner than before there was a google ad.

Eventually it all boils down in two category it is either google ads is a better profitable in terms of monetization or rather how many active users is utilizing your blog.

I know it impacts Bitcoins popularity (even though not many people get into crypto trough the ads), but I understand them, any coin that is advertised could be a scam and Google doesn't want to help them. I doubt it will affect the prices, people rarely even pay attention to these ads.

After Facebook, the company Google intends to prohibit advertising websites on cryptocurrency. More than 3 million doubtful ads and advertisements have already been removed.So they are trying to fight against the illegal transactions. It significantly influenced the course of bitcoin.But not all people believe the advertising. I like not all is credible. If bitcoin is used for legitimate transactions, then it has every chance to strengthen .

this is not yet final and we can even pass the ban from Facebook, I can still do anything with facebook to give the ICO campaign. this is a sign all just crap.

perfect mate,google ad's is nothing to do with bitcoin popularity,we have our own way of advertisements and google is not part of that,so if OP think this would have impact in crypto prices,better that he keeps an eye in google,and go away never comeback here.lol

I want to say that this is already bad for the behavior and price of bitcoin. Many large companies and countries are trying to destabilize bitcoin. And this has a negative effect. But still completely destroy bitcoin will not work
