Title: Cpu-bound only alt coins Post by: abdulmad on October 18, 2013, 11:05:04 AM Does anybody have a list of alt coins that can only be mined with cpu's. I'll be generous and donate some asic to anyone that provide the list. I can search the forum but just don't have the time right now.

there is no GPU miner for MemoryCoin and scrypt-jane coins at high N levels (YAC,YBC maybe CPR) are more efficiently mined on CPUs Elacoin is scrypt (FYI dont use my BTC addy for mining) Title: Re: Cpu-bound only alt coins Post by: Max Guevara on October 18, 2013, 11:23:07 AM A GPU miner for Quark-based coins has been released, which is probably around 10x faster than a fast PC, but it is also still CPU minable.

In which case, Quark is still very much a CPU coin.
