Usually, only two coins are accepted. BTC or ETH. Depending on where it will be launched, ie which platform they will use, they can also accept the main currency of this platform. They can launch in NEM, NEO, Waves etc.

Some even use other tokens, but then it would be a matter of opportunity or publicity. They can accept Monero if it is an anonymous token. Or the hundreds of shitcoins that came out of the last forks, if it's another stupid fork.

So many ICO,s accept only one but others also accept other Crypto, all depend on the ICO contract base which they want investors to trade their token.

You can buy 1 of BTC / ETH / $ Or multiples of them.
You can't buy just 1 token,  maybe you'll be rejected. At ICO, the token offered is very cheap, even with $ 1 you can get up to 10 to 50 tokens, depending on the offer price. just imagine you bought 1 token, it wasn't enough to just pay the fee.

It is best to buy with only one currency why need to buy the same token with different currencies? ???

But most of the projects accepts BTC,ETH,LTC as the payment rarely some project accept fiat money as a source to buy.

As many as are possible pending on your back-end requirements like blockchain API, wallet generation scripting, etc.

choose coins which have huge number of market cap, Dash and XMR are also good. Even some ICO allowing people to buy token using USD, EUR or other fiat. In my opinion, BTC, ETH, and USD is enough for an ICO. If you want to give convenience to the buyers then add more coins or fiat according to your ability.

Not directly. Volatility and fees may be the only 'problems' you might encountering when accepting a broad range of cryptos.

which do you suggest is the best

The best would probably be a currency which have a high liquidity and are used by most people here.
So i'd say the top cryptos would be the best in this order: BTC < Ether < other currency coins

most of them accept ether

Most of them 'accept ether' because they are distributing their tokens on the ethereum network.
Not accepting ether would be kind of odd.

My organization accepts many currencies through CoinPayments.net for our ITO.  The most popular would be BTC and ETH of course.  I'd also not forget about LTC.

I also accept BCH because my organization is tax-deductible, so people that want to get rid of their tax liability on the forked coins (i.e. they have capital gain on their full value) could contribute to BTRIC through those.  I'd be open to accepting other coins that have a way for me to convert to BTC.

Some people participating in ICOs may have coins of a particular type that you may not have thought of, so consider making an email available if someone wants to participate using a coin that you didn't anticipate.  A little manual work could be worth it for a sizable investment.

I recommend looking at CoinPayments.net, there are other services though.  If I was limited to just the major coins, I might have used a different service.

Best regards,
Ben

Yes it can be said that BTC, ETH and USD become the standard currency used by an ICO. It is a widely recognized currency that can be used in many countries. Bitcoin is the most widely used digital currency, Etherum is Altcoin which is used as a platform in making TOKEN and USD is real world currency that is most widely used by various countries and can be said as world currency. I think that is all enough and no more currency is used because the 3 currencies can coordinate all circles and also with not a lot of currency received then it can make ICO investment income more centralized and also easier to be analyzed.

The more pertinent question is:  should any currencies be accepted at all until it's proven to be a working, stable product?

I'll say the same thing I said here (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3143921.msg32579657#msg32579657).  I sincerely hope yours isn't yet another one of those projects.  People are generally placing more emphasis on what currencies they're going to accept than they are about making sure their project isn't a complete waste of money to begin with.

If you're learning as you go, make sure your work is checked thoroughly by someone who knows what they're doing.  If you don't know how to implement features without introducing security risks, outsource to an expert to make sure it's done right.  Be absolutely sure you're doing sufficient testnet work and that everything is functional and secure.  THEN you can worry about what currencies you're going to accept.

Finally something for gamers I got sent this whitepaper, they seem to change the attitude to advertising in computer/mobile games. All the studies and surveys have proven that well-made, meaning non-intrusive in the virtual reality integrated adverts, are perceived as from non-irritating to positive on hand of the heightened realism.
Plus they are going to include gamers to the process. Gamers get a share of ad revenue through watching placed ads. With the platform, they can use their rewards or even fund a project they like!Their forward-thinking idea suits me a lot https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2898738.0

Do they really want to  create dynamic native in-game ads? It’s interesting idea. Well-made and non-intrusive in the virtual reality integrated adverts, are perceived as from non-irritating to positive on hand of the heightened realism.

I have to be part of the Vreo community, they want to create highly-secured model of cooperation of the participants of the process in-game advertising. The final users will be able to set up their interests and it will be able to improve the advertising process for all participants.
