When the market is res or green? I would say green... you want to have your coins when the market picks back up right?

I think it is not right time to invest in an ICO.the biggest risk you can get when investing in ICO.because,ICO project is un successful or deceptive.ICO,s is very risky and its not advisable for newbies.so temporaily I have stopped investing in any of these ICO projects.

I have to have that risk whenever I invest in a coin because it would seem that the money would be too easy to make. It doesn't matter if it's an ICO or if it's a regular trade.

now is the right time to invest in ICO, because now there are many ICOs that have good prospects to be invested in the future.

Of course there is no perfect timing for entering to new ICO. If you want to participate in ICO with ethereum buying dips of ethereum is profitable even invested ICO doesnt bring you any profit. Bear markets are best times to invest in new projects.

As long as you have done your research and vetted the project.  Early  as possible to maximize your discounts/ bonuses.  Becoming an early adopter has multiple benefits including future airdrops.  Get involved and passionate about projects you think are going to be successful!

I would take the biggest risk. when ICO fails, I lose everything. when ICO is successful, I will win a lot. that's gambling, bet or not? or you will continue to walk in a safe way.

In life, you can't ever predict the perfect timing when to invest in a bear or bull market. You need to go with your guts and do your research on which projects you believe in.

I’m not asking whether or not i should invest in an ico or if they are risky or not. I’m asking if in a bear market, you are better off holding on to your coin or invest in the ico. By investing in a bear market I feel you lose the opportunity to miss all bulls...

Everything depends on the currend ICO, its token price and terms. Sometimes ICOs are establishing their token price  at 1$ (or other fixed fiat amount) worth of ETH at the start of the pre sale and then fix this ETH price. If it happened at the peak then it might be a good chance to purchase tokens if you catch a dip after the price fix.
Most ICOs are fixing their prices in ETH  since the very beginning so  there is not much difference in the particular time of investment because we are expecting to get the profit in crypto, not fiat. But! If the ICO you see that the ICO is coming to the end and the market is dipin then you may take a chance and wait a bit. If the coin / token will get fast listing it will get into the waves of dips which will give you a chance to buy under the ICO price.

now its not the time to invest. in a bull market please invest. as per example , previous year November starts the bull run and Wabi and power ledger gave 10x potential. now even the best one do not give the 1x even.

At such exact moments, when crypto prices are very low. You can invest into ICO by following some ICO, and also with the right composition.
the decision is yours. myself choose to buy only coins in top marketcap.

For me the best time to invest ICO was it is so hype and have a chance yo grow in the coinmarketcap.A big chances to hold and a huge income to earn  is the great definition of crypto coins earner.

I think this is good time to invest in ICO, because cryptocurrency price still drop!
we can take this good moment to invest in ICO, but you should know which ICO have an potency to invest, which promising ICO and how the developers and team work, because invest in ICO have really big risk, we don't know that project will be successful or no.

Now really is not recommended to participate in the project. ICO prices on the floor is really not higher than the price when buying ICO terminal. I bought STQ before and now its price is less than half the price of ICO.

No one will invest in ICO if their market performance is in Red because other may think that the certain ICO is losing and not a promising investments. When the coin was in pre-sale stage or if you missed the opportunity to buy it at pre-sale, buy the coin when the market is bloody.

I'd not care about whether the market is in red or green. Once I've done my research and enough studies to identify the ICO I'm going to invest I'll most probably be looking at an ICO which has a very strong community and already has achieved Soft cap.

I think we can see the green again in the next month and it will make a big movement from the altcoin and I hope bitcoin will increase too. we are too long to wait for the altcoin price is at a low price and I think its time for the altcoin to go up. but we still need to wait this moment happens and if we can hold our coin then I am sure that in the few months, we can make a lot of money. I want to see the price increase again and still, want to see my coin makes the highest price again.

April should be a good time to invest in ico, both in February and march. After investing in ico in April, ico's earnings should be good after the market picks up in May and June.

maybe for now my choice is bitcoin and mnx, why?
bitcoin price is going down now and its always like this, after 2 or 3 month the price will so its your time to sell the coin
mnx was predicted to be a good coin, this coin prospect is good and the price still cheap so you can buy it a lot

To invest in ICO you need to select not time but a promising project. If  project have a huge potential and the realism of its implementation is high then regardless of the market situation you will be able to profit from the investment.

You can always invest in iCo but be careful and do a good research.I believe it will be profitable if you get some luck make an important investment

I think the best time to invest in an ICO is when they are still in their pre-sale because in this period, the bounties is discounting the price of their tokens so that the small time investors can avail a product with a bonus. But before investing in an ICO, you gonna make sure that it is not a scam or you may lose your all funds and back to zero again. And when the ICO where you invests become successful, there is a big chance that you can have more profits in your investments.

Of course, it is good to put in cryptocurrencies before its growth. I think, at the end of summer there will be such time.

If you believe in the project. These are the only parameters I usually take into account. My belief in the project only comes after lots of research into the fundamentals because I feel the true revolutionary businesses in the next decade will come from the ICO space so I don't think the current market situation plays into my thought process too much

always, as long as you know that the ICO projects you find is a good and legit one. invest at the first day of PRE-ICO to avail the bonuses and discounts, on that way, you can earn a great profits in the future, or you can dump that bonuses after the tokens/coins hits to market and be listed on exchange and the rest is to HOLD.

In my understanding, if you want to extract the maximum profit you need to enter the bud of the ICO project. The other thing is that it's risky.

The best time to invest in an ICO project is private sale cause you can buy at lowest price and get the biggest bonus percent. But it'll not the problem if you invest in a scam or bad project :).  You should only care about the best time to buy when you find out the good one to invest in but it's not easy to find out 1 or 2 projects out of hundreds ICO project on the internet.
