If and when AI substitutes humans as a more progressive form of intellect - it could very well be natural it abuses humans in the same way. If we don't accept that possibility, it only proves we are a bunch of hypocritical bastards who don't deserve to live the life we live now. Whatever the outcome, I personally believe AI would do better than modern day humanity in almost, if not all aspects of life. That is if we are talking about superior independent form of consciousness that an AI should be.
