You forgot to mention where you are, that local collection is possible if not escrow can be used.

I'm in Pa but the point of this is to get bitcoin. I don't want cash. As for escrow, I will never use escrow again. It's too risky for sellers because of bunk buyers. I was burnt on bitify by a buyer because of excepting escrow. If you're interested then payment will be made to my btc address, I will ship usps with tracking. if you're uncomfortable then that's cool I understand and thanks for the reply.

So you have a 12 day old account and you want someone to send you hundreds of dollars in untraceable currency and hope you send the item?

Did you say collection is possible in Pa because thats the only way I can see you selling this here as you're not accepting escrow?

Or you could sell on ebay then buy bitcoin with the money.

I don't understand why my account matters and why would I use ebay? They won't pay me in bitcoin plus they hold funds in paypal which I don't have. And if someone is in somerset pa that will pay me in bitcoin then I have no problem meeting them. And direct pay to my address is way faster and avoids fee with depositing cash into my bank then waiting 6 days to deposit it into my coinbase. To me that just doesn't make sense when I can just get it deposited directly to my coinbase acct. I'm not the type nor looking to burn anybody. I just posted this for anybody who is interested. If you're not interested or willing to transact on my terms then why even bother to reply? Thanks have a great day.

Your account age matters because its brand new and you're not accepting escrow. Warning signs this is nothing more than a lame scam.

People scam on here for a few dollars what you're trying to sell is a small fortune in some countries.

Anyway good luck trying to sell with your new account and no escrow think you'll be waiting a while.

I really don't understand why you're refusing to make a deal through escrow. Than you risk?
Why did you provide photos of different MacBooks?

Im a scammer because I don't want escrow? Tell me. How is escrow protecting the seller? It's not. It's just something buyers use to scam the seller so they can claim anything in the world send the seller back an empty box and keep the product AND their money! I know this for a fact because it happened to me on Bitify! So take your lame a** "scam" opinions and kick rocks. You're all out here trying to scam sellers with your fake a** escrow sh*t!

You can not give us any guarantees.

Recommended escrow services: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2439910.0

You yourself prescribe the terms of the transaction!

It would also help if you posted more information about the items and better pictures with your username and date in.

Dude.

Chill. Now.

You came onto this forum. This forum is full of people who deal a lot. And these are their rules. If you don't like them, get out of their house.
These guys aren't paranoid.

I'm a p2p bitcoin lender. I've seen guys run with 5 dollars in bitcoin. And not just "one guy". A lot of scammers out there.
We don't know you, and have no way of knowing we can trust you.

If I post you a bitcoin address here, will you send me $1200 in bitcoin?
I hope you wouldn't. Because if you would, you're just asking to get stolen from.

99% of the people who don't use security (E.g. no collateral, escrow, etc...) end up scamming. Sooner or later.
Maybe you are in that 1%. But we don't know that, and have no reason to think that you will be.

If the terms don't work, politely leave. You do yourself no favors when you lose your cool.

I hear you. I understand. It's cool. Like I said I'll just meet somebody on craigslist and hopefully sell it. No big deal. Sorry for all the inconvenience.

I checked out the escrows in this link https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2439910.0 but it doesn't seem like they are even legally licensed to run an escrow service. I also googled 3rd party escrows and found out a lot of them scams or pyramid schemes. How can I trust this? I definitely think I'll just take my business somewhere else. Thanks anyways guys. I actually learned a lot on here and how people in crypto handle business.

At this forum, reputation is key. You just do not understand where you got.

License to run  escrow service for Bitcoin on the forum?  Your right it would complement the license obtained to launch and run Bitcoin

No one will buy from you on this forum without accepting the use of an escrow.   To any noobs trying to get a good deal you have been warned by other users above.  This is a scam as long as he does not accept escrow.

There is no reason why you should him him payment upfront since he has no trust or history on the forums.  Was interested in the laptop but the above is a red flag

All the best

Seems like your default answer:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3073706.msg32633958#msg32633958

good luck with your sales.

There are certain rules to selling on any site you go to:
ebay, craigslist and so on.

This is simply the normal way things are bought and sold on this forum.
You always have the option to sell your goods elsewhere.

thanks!

Certainly looks that way.

No pictures with username and date after being requested and refusal to use a forum escrow.

99.9% scam and a lame one at that.
