I want to find out what your trading advice will be if BTC continues to crash. Are you going to HODL or sell. I personally have lost money so far :(

Any way what is your trading strategy? 

yes I have shorted altcoins and Bitcoin for relativly safe and big profits on Bitmex. I hold Bitcoin, but due to the margin trading I haven't lost any money on this downfall fortunatly.

I think selling now can be very risky, market is already very down, personally im still holding my btc and i believe that market can bounce back anytime from here.

Yeah the best time to sell was near the peak, i know some experts are claiming that btc will keep dropping or it is the end of crypto bla bla but it is just fud, do not panic, it will pay you off, market is manipulated by big players as they want to buy at cheap price.

We should always hold BTC firmly, or that sentence, for BTC to look back a few years later, it may be wrong to sell at any time. ​

To be honest, I just sold some of my BTC because I'll be using the money that I got from that selloff to an important event of my life and I have no hint of regret doing that. It is actually a good move because of the crash that happened, I had the time to cash out some money when BTC's value is way more than it is now. You could say that I took some profit but don't get me wrong, I still have significant amount of BTC left in my Ledger Nano S and I don't have any plan of selling it in the coming days or months.

As you can see, if you don't have any important event where you need to use that money, it is still better to hodl now. This is just a correction bound to happen and if you didn't have the time to cashout at the top, it will be a huge loss for you if you'll do it now. Just wait for the next bull run (take note that it may take a while) and walk off from your computer. Chill out and enjoy life.

It is worth selling as soon as it drops below the 7k level, at least for me it will be the bell ringing. Further it will be even lower and even worse and then you can forget about restoration in general.

I will hold again till 6000$. If that support zone is broken then I will transfer my BTC holdings to an exchange and I will also put stop loss just some percentage below that time. If that hits I'll exit with whatever I get (Actually it's still 3X profit) and will wait for a better entry.

I am going to sell if it goes below $6000 because I don't want to lose all my money earned through this hype. I will be probably sold my coins because people are very pessimistic right now.

Despite the fact that the market is on the decline i will continue to hold my ethereum and Bitcoin for if i should sell at the moment i will end up selling at lost and i see no sence in taking such decision.

I didn't see this crash coming, but I don't think we are yet at the bottom. For the moment the market is way too volatile for me to do any sort of trading (buying or selling) so I am just holding.

It is your own desicion, sell or not. Bitcoin  is more unpredictable, than altcoins. And it is not excluded, if you sell - the price will go up. You know who to blame then?  If you don't need cash in near future,  better don't sell BTC,  wait better times.

i will not sell in this moment, even if i'm still in a little profit now it's very risky to sell, the market could start it's fall in any moment and in that case i will lose all my coins! it can also fall way more deeper but it think it will not keep falling for ever, there will be a momente when we will see a new grow

If you had applied this formula in your brain before investing in crypto then you don't have to worry now. Just keep patience and wait for good times.

No, i would not sell because i consider that the money that i invested on cryptos is gone.
So, the only way that i would sell is if that coin goes to x3 at least. If it goes to zero, then bad luck for me.

I refuse to sell at these prices , even though i bought lower.
Just think of it this way , every time this has happened in bitcoin the price has gone up afterwards.

my advice if you still lose a little you can turn it into a tether or usdt then estimate how far he will go down, then buy the lowest point, then sell it when it goes up.

If the losses are too big then resistant and just wait until it costs coins used to be recovered and at least the capital you have back and even if the can should benefit. But if the losses are not yet how to secure the capital then selling just before it too deep.

I may not losing hope and probably I'll be holding it til this crisis end.
We should not be on big deal for these cause isn't be forever in dump,  it someday bitcoin will bounce back and those people that are patiently waiting truly gains rewards.

There are part of my bitcoin that I have keep for long-term investment and bitcoin is going to grow next two years that we may see the current level as a child play.  Many did not know that the future is bright and we are to keep part of our bitcoin in other not to regret that we sell off our holding.  If bitcoin fall further or clash I will still be holding and with the hope that bitcoin is going to grow again.

Why selling on lose when we are still trust bitcoin will change how people use money ? I will still holding it because j invest with money i can afford to lose and not money i will die starving if i lose it. I still believe bitcoin can reach $100k value this year or at least 2021 so i will hold what ever market today or tomorrow. What ever fud spread.

It depends on your financial situation. I would BTC hold it for long-term if I have any financial income from other sources. But If you earn only from trading I would better sell BTC and invest in other business so that to diversify the income sources and not depend on BTC only!

It would actually depend if you are struggling with your present money issues, then definitely some would sell right away before bitcoin goes down further more, but if you are not in need of the amount you invested in cryptocurrencies then the best thing you can really do is to hold your coins. That’s why some mentioned in this forum that they would hold their coins for 4-5 years probably it is because they know this day would come.

While bitcoin falling, is good time to buy. Because when price start growing, btc should achieve a dozen or so thousand dollars. It is sure so if you buy now and will hold you will get huge profit

If you don't need the money, better not to sell and you can opt to buy more if you are capable.  But if you're a type of a person who can't sleep at night worried of your losses, you can sell it before the lowest dip but make sure you are there to monitor the price so that you can buy back.

Except you're a trader which of course you set your Stop Loss, you hodl when there's a crash. People have different strategies for in times as these. Some sell and buy the dip while simply hodl. It depends on your strategy

Of course but the majority of people are getting worried after watching the market in a downtrend. The only problem is they are thinking to take another action to prevent their amount to get another down again. But the fact if this is crypto and all of market depends on the demand and supply. But the only bad thing some times it can be manipulate through spread the bullshit news about ico and crypto currency.

Now about if BTC continues to crash, the technique is you buy more and hodl and just wait for it to go up. That's it. You don't have to do panic dumps if you don't want to lose your money.

if you purchased BTC over $15k range , and still holding it , then no benefit in selling in further dip ..
bcoz if you sell it then you will have 50-60% loss which is 100% confirmed on sale .
but if you hold then still chance of profit or no loss in case of pump .

You have a choice to sell if you believe in deeper correction, and buy more at lower levels, but it is risky, and I prefer to hold my assets and buy more if price is attractive enough.

I have a small amount of bitcoin and I will hold as I can afford it. Alts holdings went into fiat though, until we will be bullish again

At the moment anyone who bought higher than present price is sitting on a paper loss. Only if they sell will they realise that loss. Market seemed to recover a bit today.

If you bought it on a higher price, then it’s best not to sell it. You might just lose more of your money if you sell your btc when it crashes further down. Just hold on to your coin and wait for a few months, good results will come soon. As for me, I see this situation as an opportunity, so I’m planning on buying btc if it crashes down a little more.

if you are worried then you can sell at a cheap price but even though i lost a lot of money but i will still be hodl until i get profit. be patient within 3-6 months

Only a fool who sells bitcoin at a time when the price is crash. I'm a person who doesn't want to loss in the slightest, instead i will use it by buying bitcoin as much as possible and HODL.

Selling out is not an option here, strictly in the case of bitcoin because that would cause a very big loss to the holder. Bitcoin is expected to increase as much as 30k dollars by the end of this year so selling it out makes zero sense to me at least. Only bitcoin is capable of bringing drastic financial change in the life of its investor so extra care is required while dealing with it. My sincere suggestion is to buy more of it as this time won’t come again.

NO I will not sell. Selling low is a bad idea. I would analyse and consider now if buy or sell. If I am right I will earn money because of my good decision and increasing bitcoin, If I am wrong I will lose money by my bad decision.

This same pattern is seen almost every year for bitcoin that it takes big correction in the first quarter so do not loose hope 2nd and 4th quarter will be very big for btc this time again if the pattern continues.

Lost? so you are trading your bitcoin into fiat? that's a newbie's move. Resist yourself especially when you are holding bitcoin, in its entire history bitcoin has proven itself, once a correction happens it always recovers and the deeper the price is the higher it will be so just hold onto your bitcoin, you don't realized a loss as long as you don't convert it.

hold do not panic being a trader's need to calm and relax and specially patience are very important weapon of the trader's, if asking the very experience people in trading job surely you can received an advice wait again the price increase just be patience and relax bitcoin is strong currency and the price will bounce back again.

All my investments are long-term assets. Especially bitcoin will grow minimum ten times next 3 years. Patience is the main advantage of any investor and trader. Invest, HODL and enjoy your profit.

I will keep a btc coin and will not sell, because I have a bitter experience when I have a btc and my price down is exposed to panic sell and I sell it, maybe I will check my experience to be used as consideration to sell bitcoin when the price drops drastically.

Personally I’d hold or HODL my bitcoins untill my last penny is dropped. I believe in the crypto coins and I’m all in for them I’ve invested in a couple and I’m only on the hodl side of everything, obviously they have downs but everything can bounce back.

First, I do not think btc will crash further down, the price is much lower than the price on January, and we can see the crypto market are known by more and more people, even G20 will have a topic about it.

you need to decide if you are a trader or an investor.
if you are a trader then when bitcoin starts a crash you need to sell (before the drop or at the beginning, NEVER at the end) and buy back near the bottom as fast as possible. if you can not do all of these at perfect time then you should not trade in first place.
if you are an investor then you shouldn't even be asking this question. you look at bitcoin and if you see a potential for long term success then you keep on buying it and buy even more when price drops.

I set my goals. I will keep all BTC and altcoin until the end of this year, and I will not sell anything at the present time.

I have several strategies. I look at the general situation on the market and make decisions. But I never sell coins with losses if I bought them for long-term storage. If your portfolio has subsided then you must be patient. Just HOLD. In daily trades I admit small losses that correspond to my risk strategy and it's ok.

Suppose the price of bitcoin is always under water.You have to hold the bitcoin and buy the bitcoin as much you can. All will inverse in asset for the future. I completely agree with you! You need to be very calm and patient in crypto. There is no point in selling coins that have strongly subsided, especially bitcoin. I'm confident that this major coin will grow in the future.

I chose the strategy of long-term investments and fix profits only when the coin grows 2-3 times. I never sell cheaper than I bought.

If ever Bitcoin does continue to crash down then I would either do short term for around 30% of my investments and the rest would have to hold until it recovers. I want to play safe especially in investments so that I wouldn’t have that much losses.

well holding for future big gains is promising but with the current market trend i think we should also learn how to play this fluctuating prices, buying low and selling high is the basic ones and it's pretty easy money so far because of this dips and pump in the last few weeks.

i sold in 2015 my few bitcoins for few dollars driven by the fear that bitcoin was crashing down and now i'm here regretting that, in 2015 we got a great bear trend but after that btc rose again strongher than ever, a little stop it's legit but i think that the run is not over yet

I will still hodl my bitcoin even if it crashes further down , i still believe in bitcoin that it will be back again in rise , and its only the first quarter of the year. Most are panicking because bitcoin and altcoins are going down in price , and most traders and hodlers are selling their bitcoins and altcoins. That's exactly right and it is a valid reason to sell some of our coins for its purpose is really important. We people have different reasons why there are instances that we can't avoid to dump some of our crypto assets. What's important is we do it for a reason that is all about in our daily needs.

As a long term hodler I dont look in the price presently if its in dips, rather im looking forward for the recovery after the correction and dont attach myself too much in the bad news and those people spreading fud, its better to stay positive.

Hodl is the best decision for now during crashes or going down. If we sell we will in lose all of our money, so might as well we should hold while price is not yet high.

In my opinion, it is not important. For me, the only thing that is important is to identify trend before it happens so I can go long or short and make a profit.
So I won't sell my BTC if it doesn't go below 7k but make a profit by betting against the market.

Hold ofcourse. I am not foolish to sell my bitcoins during the dip just because I am frightened and worried that it might be gone in the future. I believe in bitcoin's potential and I know, in the very first place, that bitcoin is volatile. In fact, these moments are good opportunities. You can purchase coins at very cheap prices. With that, your portfolio will be bigger.

If Bitcoin goes even lower i would definitely buy more Bitcoins because just like before market will recover and Bitcoin will climb over 20k and even further. I will hold my BTC. I already withdrew my investment. The amount left in my wallet is already a profit I made when its rate was high.

You have the option to continue trading despite the decreasing value of Bitcoin. I think this time it is far easier to trade Bitcoin with USD or your country's fiat, if it is available in particular crypto exchange platform. Do not sell because this kind of market is very temporary. Not selling is avoiding loss. We are now on the last day March. I am looking at a positive market in the month of April.

We all have lost tons of money the past couple of months. Going from 850B to 250B is obviously going to crush everybody, the only question is did you take some profits while you could have? If you were over extended that is something you should have done for sure, if you are well off and are confident then the hodl approach is just fine.

I am planning to buy even more when Bitcoin price is crashing because previously we bought them at the high price. So it is always good to buy them when it is at dips in order to make most when the price starts increasing.

Explain why people still buy bitcoin. It was true 5 years ago, but now when there are so many good coins and they are superior in efficiency, why bitcoin still holds on to demand. I can justify that only because all technologies started with bitcoin and remove the parent from the market this is how to destroy everything.

When I saw the Crypto market drop I decided to hold onto them. I will buy more BTC during this time, I firmly believe that BTC prices will increase again in the next few months. That is the trend of the Crypto market over many years of experience, I feel the BTC will rise again after the impact of this market. I advise you to hold the BTC, should not rush to sell.

if you are worried then you can sell cheaply but even though i lost a lot of money but i will still hodl until i get profit. be patient within 3-6 months, indeed this is a long time but i think it will get many results

I will always hold even if bitcoin crashes further down. I saw worst crashes in the pass and btc succeed breaking its all time high again. You need to remember that bitcoin will always up and down and you need to hold your btc at least for 8 years before you get very good profit from it. Its called investment and not gambling.

I don't own any BTC at the moment, sold everything last month which was one of my best decisions ever made. If I'm still holding BTC, then I wouldn't touch them at this price because it is the only good option left amidst of this mega downtrend chaos.

To sell now means to lose. If this is done, according to Murphy's law, rise will begin immediately)

It's rule of the market that when it's too high, it takes correction. Most people sell in panic when the market goes down and buy when it goes up. The reverse is done by smart investors they sell when the market is up and buy when the market is down. It's just a test of your patience, we know BTC has use cases and it will go up. so don't panic just HODL.

if i was you i would have bought a lot of altcoins right now using it.
because everything is on decline and if we want to make an opportunity,i think the best way to do it is by buying an alt.
