It's a stupid self-fulfilling prophecy, tbh. So you have all the major crypto news sites reporting this in headlines, and people see: “ANALYSTS SAY BTC FALL TO $2.8k!” And what will happen? They'll sell. Now bitcoin price has dropped.

But! On the very bright side ^_^, if bitcoin falls to $2.8k, my gosh how many of us would buy!?!?!?!? That's like our second chance at getting it cheap!

I dont think bitcoin will drop down in that value.$2.8k is very low value for bitcoin.However since bitcoin is a crypto currency and its value is voatile we dont know what will be the movement of its value the next day or month either it will still drop down or will rise again but hoping that it wont reach that value.

I don't think you can call those people 'experts' if they predict the price by just throwing in random numbers.
Technical analysis don't work well with crypto. Hell, they don't even work perfectly in the stock market.

Crypto is heavily driven by psychological and sociological factors. Its hardly predictable.

You hear a ton of those 'experts' predicting the price move. And 90% of those predictions turned out to be wrong.
Only a small number of predictions were right. Even a broken clock is right twice a day..

I do not recall one single 'analyst' anywhere predicting the 20 grand rise. Because of that I'm not going to pay attention to the opinion of these people who so far only exist in the the OP's sentence.

And who are these so-called analysts? Where were they when BTC surpassed $15.000? Anything can happen and anyone can claim whatever they want. There's no reason to believe any of these rumors, no matter if positive or negative.

I don't think miner would turn off their machines (which is the only valueproducing mechanism of their company).
Even if, this would not harm the bitcoin ecosystem at all.
It would take a short amount of time until the network difficulty would have adjusted. Afterwards everything would be 'back to normal'.
The only one getting damaged when ASICs get turned off are the owner of these ASICs.

Then this is whats going to happen because the experts have predicted thy! They've never been wrong or anything before. There's a general thing that happens when 'experts' predict these sort of things they either get it right and are remembered and hailed before the public for it or they get it wrong and it's forgotten about.

First, there are no so called experts in crypto market, as the price is based on pure speculation. Personally, I don't think that $2800 is not possible. Because I'm sure that there are buyers around $6K, and that is a great buyer opportunity to all of us.

And please don't be fooled by them, many have predicted that it will go to 0, but its already 9 years since bitcoin continue to thrive and even went as high as $20K last year.

Miners will continue to go mine bitcoin no matter what the price is going to be, in my opinion.

Analysts can analize about bitcoin what ever they want :D but bitcoin is unpredictable since the day that bitcoin born. Nobody can predicted what happen next. I just hold my bitcoin and wait for long term. Nowdays there are many news about bitcoin such as G20 summit agenda about bitcoin, Google will ban cryptocurrency start june 2018, Facebook already ban ICO or crypto, the latest news is the rumor that twitter will ban ICO also etc. All im trying to say is just watch what will happen with bitcoin and cryptos. I still have faith with bitcoin.

Maybe, since bitcoin already falls and continuously move down. I think as long as the g20 summit will not happen, there is a continuous drop of bitcoin's price. However, what will happen to the summit will reflect on its price. I hope that it will not fall much and recover its price by July.

I would like to know who are these analysts and with what reference they are analyzing and predicting these kind of information. I really do not see the price of bitcoin fall to those valuations ,if it does it will be really hard to see another rally in a really long time as it will take a long time for casual investors to trust the coin and if you look right now the price is recovering after the correction. :P

What ever it is we expect a huge pump after this bear market. Try to buy if you have extra penny, Make it a reality Coz if bitcoin will bounce back and you don't get in then probably you will regret.

never listened to analysts, but always made an analysis of my observations and they did not let me down. Analysts often expressed themselves intuitively and not always this helps to make a summary of their observations

I do not think that's going to happen because the price is so low and I'm sure that things like this will not be long enough to recover and glide much more proudly than we imagine, I really believe that.

Who are those experts? and how did they figure out that Bitcoin will fall under 5k?
Stop saying anything or at least tell us where did you hear that.
I am not saying that it can't happen but you can't just say what ever you want without any objective analysis.

I can agree with bitcoin will drop down on its value but not to the point going down to $2800!
market will recover soon and many will agree on it! So be calm on your bitcoin, it will not drop as what or your analyst expected, but we all know market is volatile we dont know what happens next, so lets just hope for the best!

All could happen in the bitcoin world, and of course the price fell to $ 2,800 it was one of my chances to get a cheap investment and take that chance, for me all was an opportunity.

I think that's just the theory of the experts and the fact that the market is recovering very quickly. I really do not believe in the theories of analysts, I have heard them many times and I have failed so many times.
I think the crypto market is shark controlled, they can increase or decrease the cost of the altcoins at any time.

It's possible.   I've heard that figure before as the current 'value' of bitcoin without speculation.    Which is fine by me because for the most part, I've already hit my profit targets and the ongoing utility of btc is more valuable to me than short term trading profits, which although they have been great, I prefer ongoing income streams.

I suppose it is too low price for BTC at present. Probably it could be 5-6k $. Nobody is interested in very low BTC price like 3k$  

What happen in the past is different to what is happening today. Bitcoin is declining but it does not mean that it will continue to drop until $2800. Even though it is posible. I think it will recover again.

It's hard to break the collapse to $ 2,800, I think that's impossible. There are many bad news lately. However, that does not stop people from believing in bitcoin.

So many analysts these says. Did these guys also pedicted that bitcoins would reach $20,000 last year? What if they’re wrong? Which in this case, I’m pretty sure they are. Are they gonna stop analyzing?  :D

They are no different than the keyboard analysts who predict (wish for) $20k, $50k, $1,000,000 (p*nis lunch), etc.

I dont believe on those false predictions. This are just made by those people to stir panic in the market and in that way they can buy more bitcoins after they have purchased bitcoin at a lower value. If we are stupid enough to take in those lies then they will be very happy and we end up losing. So we must be wise and must create our own prediction rather than believing on those predictions with an ill-intention.

I don't think so. Maybe the analyst is paid for the fud they release so that everyone out of panic are gonna selltheir coins just like that. That aint happening. Im not listening to any analyst. There hasnt been a prediction they say that happened, all speculations.

just like stock, some analysis predicted it will hit 100,000 while others predicted it will tank.  No one can really predict the future.

It's been predicted before that bitcoin will hit to $20k in 2017 and it's really happening and there is also prediction for this year that bitcoin will be going to $60k USD, we hope that this predictions will come true.

this would be a big dip down. funny, so many people predict the price will rise, and many predict the prize will fall..... after all 50% are right.  :D

I am not sure what kind of analysts they are but surely they are not analysts specialized in cryptocurrencies. I cant explain how they just come and say bitcoin is going to fall to 2800$ that being a 76% crash wich is extremely big without having any good proofs or reasons why that would happen. From my opinion bitcoin could reach 2800$ but only if some major would happen like some big exchangers being banned or any official news from governments or banks, not talking about FUD here. Looks like the price is going up right now and hope that it is not going to stop here.

I think it's a very pessimistic forecast. I think bitcoin won't fall below$ 3,900 because it's a very strong support level.

I agree. I think that if Bitcoin would drop that low, it would be too dire for the market, and many altcoins would meet their bitter ends. Bitcoin, being the strongest and highest valued coin in the market, usually carries the load of how the market would go. It also affects other tokens, for it dictates the fall and gain of many coins in the market. Also, I think that its lowest market value right now is around 6k dollars. When it dipped last month, the lowest it got was around 6.2k dollars after it gained and went back to around 10k.

No one has any idea what they are talking about, no really knows the path up ahead that bitcoin will go or what price it will reach, last year no one had any idea that bitcoin will go from 1000$ to 17000$, and no one expected it to stop going up and starts going down, all people do is say prediction based on their interest, if they want the price of bitcoin to go down they say it is going to fall, so don't believe what they say.

I think that is unlikely, bitcoin only corrected. and will go back up to $ 10,000 more. plus the country's positive news does not prohibit but only regulate how the future bitcoin is applied in payment. discussed in the g20 forum.

There is a lot of possibility for bitcoin to drop down below 5K euro. Bankers and Hedge Funds are waiting the signal to enter in the market. The correction may have been not finish, the price is moving side way for the last couple of weeks. It was like yesterday that I went to check what the "experts" on tradingview have to say and, guess what, most predictions were negative and some guys were openly saying that BTC remains bearish and will go to retest 6000. Not more than 4 hours later we had a breakout to 8k and now we're at 9... This is another examples of why TA doesn't work with BTC. There's too many things at play here.

Wrong. This is a baseless prediction. If bitcoin go to that price, that means many peoples need no more bitcoins.
The current price is slowly increase. Peoples still want to own bitcoins.

I just chuckled seeing that bitcoin has reached $9K already and the last bottom we have witnessed in $75xx. That's why there are no so called experts here because even TA sometimes can't exactly plot as to where the price is going to be.

So I don't know what will be the experts excuses now as bitcoin is already gaining in the last 3 days and might broke 5 digits again at the end of the year. Moral lesson: Don't believe on those experts, used your better judgement.

I don't know why but i think what those analysts stating is somehowe make a sense, i have read some article saying that BTC price never been fall this constant in such a long period like what happen now on . But to say it will fall to $ 2,800 sounds too exaggerating for me.

I don't think how reliable that sources and wise that fortune teller was. It's still nonsense for me, if ever the price will drop on that level then, it's a good time for me to buy even more as I strongly believe Bitcoin will soar back to its all time high.

An analyst can predict the changes especially if they have their comparative reports. However, there are many considerations in order to analyze the actual fall. Though, change may be decreased due to the news of social media to ban the bitcoin in relation to the numbers of victims scammed, there still fluctuations in upcoming future. Still, as an investor, we should not lose our hope.

You can listen to the opinions of these so-called analysts and experts on crypto currencies but don't take their word for it. These analysts and experts makes a lot of mistakes.

Who are these analysts? I'm not gonna believe them because I know and understand how the cryptoworld and BTC works. Aside from that, I don't even know who they are for me to trust them but even though I don't know them, their prediction is enough for me to judge that they don't what they are talking about.

So in near future it has maximum probability to go to bullish trend. Besides its demand is not decreasing at all although price is falling. Therefore I expect good days of bitcoin soon.

I don't think that Bitcoin will reach $2,800. Analysts ignore the existence of absenteeism. When more and more people know about Bitcoin, Bitcoin's supporters are also growing. Bitcoin's manufacturing cost is about $7,500. . If Bitcoin reaches $2,800, it is impossible to make the price drop.

yes, you are right. we see that in out there, many people make their own predictions by drawing a line comparing with the bitcoin history and some of them claim that it will fall into one price level. actually, I don't know where the bitcoin prices want to go but I still believe that bitcoin price will recover although I am not sure when it will happen. the new people which join into bitcoin will be happy because they don't have to use a big money to buy bitcoin but for people which buy bitcoin at the high price will still waiting for the price increase back.

You are right. By the way, I suppose these guy involved in analytics have already changed their viewpoint and start making other predictions - this is their work. They are as flexible as the market of the cryptocurrency.

I don't think there is any more room or space for bitcoin to fall back to $2800, there is just so much more money in the market now and more investors that the price falling back that low is highly unlikely
