What people think not always goes along with reality - especially considering the fact that people are poor at predicting things. The problem of using cryptocurrencies as a way of paying for services will grow as long as governments will keep banning them. The instability in their price may cause companies to loose trust in these kinds of payments.

I think that in 2025 the cryptocurrency market will become more stable and gain the trust of many and accept the cryptocurrency on the bus as possible. Because cryptocurrency is very good at transactions, low transaction costs and when there is internet, people make transactions easily.

In my opinion, after the crypto market is restored after the fall, which may have been created artificially, the crypto business will be everywhere, a lot of good ideas that will be realized.

With the boom and uses of crypto-currencies nowadays, I beleive that this is possible by the year 2020 onwards. By year 2020 onwards, cryptocurrency market will become more stable and gain the trust of many countries and accept the cryptocurrency worldwide. Crypto have to walk a long long way from here to reach this target as When the Buses start to accept Crypto definitely means it has achieved the mass adoption goal. I am pretty sure One day Crypto will be there but that will never be a easy journey from here. This decentralized creature got to fight with a corrupted centralized system in the coming years. Technology also got a part to play as they should clean the little errors in Cryptocurrencies which makes it the journey to mas adoption slow.

Well,I think a lot still needs to be done to increase mass adoption of cryptocurrencies and by extension use on buses.Every day a alot of people learn about cryptos but are sceptical to use it.So I believe with time,people will want to see widespread adoption on buses,cafes,etc

I think that this is quite realistic. But certainly not by 2025. It takes time for more people to learn about the crypto currency and start trusting it. After that, the crypto currency should become under state control, only after that it will be possible to talk about it.

When it comes to the use case of every cryptocurrency, i would probably predict that somehow it could happen, time by time cryptocurrency and the likes had gained so much customers confidence, this is mainly because it is tradable worldwide to any currency. Started from the beginning, bitcoins has been performing from the scratch until it gets the worldwide attention, and now its been accepted everywhere all over the world. Year 2025 can be a positive if in case every government could adapt the blockchain technology, yes it is, it would happen that buses could accept cryptocurrency, and i am looking forward to it.

Guess you could get a mass adoption of cryptocurrency for buses or public transport but then what advantage would it have over existing systems? There are already a lot of contactless payment systems with currencies that work pretty well without the need for a blockchain environment.

It is a good thing. of course the longer the crypto will more and more be sought after, and this certainly will make crypto increasingly in the community. If this can be really materialized will certainly make crypto increasingly have value and it would be very nice.

2025 is quite a while away so it's definitely in the realm of possibility. However the government is slow to implement anything so it may take longer than that.

This will be a good move since cryptocurrency as of now is just a commodity hence one od the reasons of the volatility of its price. If it were to be put as a necessity instead of being a commodity then prices of multiple cryptocurrency that will be used as a necessity will be more stabilized like fiat currency.

I guess 2025 is way too early for this to happen. Give it atleast a minimum of 10 years. 2025 will be the year when almost whole amount of bitcoin will be mined, that means price will be bigger and more stable, thanks to that second aspect for me most of places will be trying to make possible transactions and payments with crypto, that would pump prices and make crypto even more popular.

Nearly Eight year their in between this.Personally I think this will happen.Bitcoin was get into common man from 2012.In five years,the price of bitcoin  reaches 19,000$.Then due to some regulation and ban of crypto currency in some of the country,the price again start to reduce.

The technology isn't ready yet for mass adoption. The people were ready last December had bitcoin and other crypto's not run into the scaling roadblock. But when the technology is finally ready enough for the average unsophisticated nontechnical user to send transactions simply by moving your finger across the screen, that's when there will no longer be a bottoming out crash after a high.

Bitcoin and every other cryptocurrency is quite suitable for online payment but that does not mean that it can't be used offline, the passenger and the driver might agree to make the payments but not with standing, the usage of it might increase bitcoin thieves and robbery cause many people can be held at gun point to send all their coins.

We never know, it might be accepted in buses or any other transit as long as there is some card or ticket that they release to make it applicable. I think i've seen something like this that they offer coins or ticket which is paid already after you ride a bus or a train.

And if those coffee shops that apply the Bitcoin as payment by swiping their cards, it would also applicable to buses and trains too.

I don't agree with you, 2025 is too far from now. It's about 7 years later, I think by this time bitcoin and cryptocurrencies will be more developed and maybe the whole world will be using crypto everywhere, so it will be probably used in buses by this time and I am sure that the most of countries in the whole world will support bitcoin after this long period, Even banks.

cryptos being accepted on buses by 2025 isn't impossible.  some bus company may be interested in blockchain technology and if they can see the advantage of using crypto as payment medium, they might implement it, by using 3rd party coin, or by creating their own cryptocoin.  if successful, other bus companies will follow the trend.
