I am a newbie who wants to invest in bitcoins. I have read a lot of negative information about how dangerous it is to travel this path. I however believe in bitcoin investment and want to take the risk.

I want to know where and how to successfully buy bitcoins? :)

In every investment there is a risk and that's nice that you are believing in bitcoin.

You can use an exchange. There are some pretty safe with no problems. Like Coinbase, for example.
You can also use Bitfinex or Bitstamp.

There are some convenience store with an app in our country that can easily buy BTC and ETH, it's a good company that provides it.

If there's a local based crypto wallet in your country then for me that's the most convenient and safest place where you can buy bitcoins because lots of fake exchanges spread around which might deceived you knowing the fact that it's hard to determine whether a particular exchange is a scam or not.

But never have a bad impression on exchanges because there are still legit and trustworthy ones like Bittrex, Poloniex, Hitbtc etc.

The best thing that you should do is to find an exchange that is more efficient and legitimate crypto exchanger that will help you to buy bitcoin. And i prefer you to use binance, it’s a community that focused on exchange which is a friendly user that will easy to learn by beginners.

Of course there's always a risk on everything you want to invest in and not only Bitcoin or other cryptocurrency are risky investment but also other types of market. You can buy Bitcoin through trusted cryptocurrency exchanges where most people buy their Bitcoins, try using coinbase (if banks from your country are supported) and localbitcoins or if there is a local exchange available in your country then it will be good but if you want to hold those coins for long term investment don't use any online/web wallets or exchange addresses to hold them, it is better to use a Bitcoin wallet where you have the full control of your coins and your private key.

I think it's easy you can make a buy on any exchange and i will not mention one of them (all may already know). But obviously i make a buy in the existing exchanges in my own country and everything is safe the transaction can run normally without any problems at all.

For me, we should buy BTC when the price down so much (sometime) and hold for x2 profit. Last time the price down to 6000$ and comeback 12000$

I best way to buy is to search whether your country has got a local exchange? If yes, then mostly they will allow you to buy with your bank account. I feel that is safer.

I actually can buy in a retail store, this will direct the fund i will deposit in my personal software wallet. I feel like it's more easier to do this than to buy in exchange. Since the local wallet app allows user to deposit through bank and retail store.

It is not dangerous to travel the path of buying, it is just necessary to be careful when dealing directly with a direct seller probably on platforms like localbitcoins and the best way is to check their trade history and reputation to know if the likelihood of getting scammed using such people is there or not. At least, that is one system that is available in a lot of places globally.

Bitcoin is very safe in the sense that I'm referring to it, it's as dangerous when criminals use them for illegal things. But I think if your country bans Bitcoin it's not a good choice to invest in it. To buy Bitcoin at a reasonable price you should buy when the market becomes unstable and go down because Bitcoin price will be much lower this time.

There are many platforms dedicated for transaction if you want to invest. My post wil only be about some advice that you should follow, whatever you want to do with bitcoin:

1- (I guess that you already heard this one, but still) Only invest what you can afford to lose. Because you will face some loss. That's obvious.

2- Don't be afraid of scams and frauds. You will get caught. That's normal. You should just be aware of that, and of course, try to learn a lot about any project you'd like to invest into.

3- Generally speaking, reading a lot will necessarily help you. You will discover new projects, new uses, new people, new techologies. Try to cross-read and check sources, to make up your very own opinion.

4- Talk about what you do with your relatives. It can be really usefull sometimes to have the opinion of someone who's completely "out of this business".

However, there are so many exchanges locally that anyone can use locally to be able to buy bitcoins directly with fiat and that is usually the easiest way. Even if there is no direct exchange, I am sure in a lot of places, you will find P2P exchanges like localbitcoin and remitano, to enable you buy.

I'm not the first one in this thread, who suggested you to pay attention to the reputation of exchanges, which you’re going to use. I’d also like to add my own advice for newbies:
1) it would be better to use not only reliable, but understandable exchange to avoid mistakes (personally I started with  cex.io (https://cex.io/), interface is kind of their known advantage).
2) it is safer to keep crypto in your own wallet after buying, coz even the most secure online platform can be hacked.

I actually can buy in a retail store, this will direct the fund i will deposit in my personal software wallet. I feel like it's more easier to do this than to buy in exchange.

You can buy Bitcoin through trusted cryptocurrency exchanges where most people buy their Bitcoins, try using coinbase.

There are a lot of trusted exchanger out there that you can try, if you're using other currency than USD then your countries might have their own trusted exchanger which converted local currency to bitcoin.
