Title: XFX 5870 locks up mining rig intermittently after BIOS flash ¿ Post by: AtlasONo on July 25, 2011, 07:29:55 PM The other day i decided to flash the bios of one card with my proven OC settings, 970 MHZ for the core and 300 MHz for the ram. Everything was running fine but ~30 min later the screen froze and everything stopped responding. It kept happening so I restored the original untouched bios file BUT that didn't fix it...
Hardware logs show that right before the crash the GPU sensors indicate 200% load and an instant jump to ~127°C. Actual temps are around 70°C. I'm stumped |
