Hello Everyone.

I recently do some research on Zilliqa project and found it very interesting.

Why it appeals me

1. Sharding ( I comes to know that ETH is also going to use this technology)
2. Highly scalable
3. Team recorder 2488 Tx/s with 3600 nodes and 6 shards
4. Zilliqa uses Proof-of-Work (PoW) just to establish mining identities, and not as a consensus protocol, thereby significantly reducing the overall energy footprint.
5. Zilliqa uses an optimized practical Byzantine Fault Tolerant (pBFT) consensus protocol which gives finality to transactions.

These things attracts me and i amconsidering it in top 5 or top 10 on coinmarketcap soon.

There Testnet is in March 2018 (This month) and Mainnet is planned for Q3 2018.

Let me know what you people think about this project.

Yes rite. And Ethereum CEO is also going to implement sharding which means it is a good one.

I've been eying Ziliqa for 5 weeks now and I am impressed with their sharding technology to minimize the network an bf process stress in order to speed up the blockchain scalability.
Maybe one of these days I should I next Ziliqa on order to get on board while the ship isn't departed the port.
I really like Ziliqa blockchain structure and will be on top Altcoin in the near future.

Why does everyone say that this is a very promising coin, I hear a lot about it recently. What is this project, what is it so promising? Who knows the subtleties, because of what it will grow?

There is too much hype around this project and of course everyone is waiting for testnet launch in the nearest week. I guess we may expect that even Palm Beach confidential will call to buy Zilliqa in April/May.

Yes, the project is really good, but top 5 I think will not be included. There is too much water in the road map. ICO is quite better than Zilliqa. Actually many people have many opinions, but I tell myself that if the top 20 would be good

Aiming for top5 is nice but i don't give a chance to get in top 5.
Maybe they will get in top50. Dev is working nice and totally nice project.
TX speed is not fast as waves and lightening but sound good for beginning.

Zilliqa is definitely a good token, so when the bull market comes, it might have a good price.

I was planning to invest but I miised the ICO opportunity. I couldn't follow lately but at first days it got my attention.

According to your research then your research is flawed because it did not put into consideration whether those coins in Top five are better than Zilliqa or are going to fall, it may go up in the top rank but not a top 5 coin IMO, so many tokens in the space that have not even reached 1/4th of their potentials

Well it has reached the top 30 in this market. And q3 of 2018 still has to happen. So probably top 20  can be achieved.

The developers of Zilliqa have published another report on the development of the project: plans for events and upcoming meetings, technical development.

I think what these project is trying to do, other projects in the space can duplicate it, this is the problem with open source projects, Ethereum is not talking about Sharding though I personally don't understand what the project is not about but the grip of Ethereum on the space is huge and I don't know the tokens it would displace from top 5

This is one of the favorites in my portfolio. I have high hopes for this team. I read various opinions for and against. If they manage to achieve all the goals, then definitely this coin will go into the top 10.
In my opinion, this is another competitor in the battle between EOS and Ethereum. I think Zilliqa has a good chance of taking its place next to the leaders.

There is way too much competition to predict for sure how high they will be.
Neo, ontology, eos, cardano, tron, stellar,...just a few examples of potential top 5.

Zilliqa is a really nice blockchain. I agree with all your reasons why zilliqa will be in top 5. Because of this I hold a big amount of Zil. I’m waiting a new wave of growth of Zil.

Zilliqa is one of few projects which have a good activity in github and social media even during this bear market. It's currently at -90% from ATH. It won't go up against the market and I expect one more bottom in Q1 of 2019 so I'd like to have at least -95% dropdown in USD to get in.

I do not think that this coin is going to be in the top five, because it has too big total supply and it is hard to believe that any coin will replace the three giants of our industry. Lets just see what happens within the upcoming years.

Zilliqa doesn't have potential to be top 5 at the end of the year of course i can tell you that you are wrong zilliqa doesn't come anywhere near your prediction, it is not a bad coin but top 5 presently isn't feasible for zilliqa.

And why people should use it? You write some technical factors why Zilliqa is better than other coins because it is probably faster but that is everything? I do not think that faster blockchains are good. Look at Bitcoin - 3TPS and still the best one, the most safe cryptocurrency currently.

Why do you think bitcoin is the best?? Because its capitalization is in the first place?? Bitcoin is technologically very behind other coins, it was just the first digital coin and this is its main advantage.

I heard a lot that today a lot can change in the market, so it seems to me that the market in 2019 can seriously improve strength. In any case, there is an opportunity to invest in projects that in the future will have real products.

It has long been Looking at this coin, and perhaps in the near future I will buy it in my portfolio. The project is good, I think it has a great future.

1. Team and leader
2. Product
3. Business model
4. Marketing
5. Development strategy.

Maybe,maybe not,in the past this project has a lot of other are good,plus there are those who still now ISO hold and will hold,and believe me there projects also have the Bomb,so no rush,but I agree that the project is good and worthwhile in portel need to take it

I also appreciate Zilliqa and bought ZIL tokens from when it did ICO and determine to hold it for long time, even though its price has decreased so much. If compare about technology with ETH, it absolutely is better but things which Zilliqa has lacked of are community and high safe

Because Bitcoin is pure digital gold, it was the first created coin, most safe coin, most accepted, will exist only 21 million Bitcoin and in this I trust and most people also.
In the future more coins will be created with better technology advance, but who cares? The only coins that worths is Bitcoin.

Ziliqa is one of the valued coins in the crypto space. If a coin has a true product, then growth is inevitable. The mainnet that is coming up this will definitely bring immense growth to it.
It is presently on number 31 on coinnmarketcap, even if it does not get to top 5, it will soon be on top 10.
Also the technology it adopted is a unique one, craved by projects that have existed before it, such as ethereum.

A super comment that fits any project, it’s hard to come up with something really worthwhile, but I’m writing a negative comment because I can’t get past that comment. If it works out then it is better to continue doing this.

Zil is really a great currency and it has been studied by my team since it was sold in ICO. I bought more than 2 million tokens and still hold it now. I think it will reach the price of $ 0.2 in 5 years. It is now quite stable and quite cheap. This is the best time to buy it.

Zilliqa hype is starting. Get on the train, lots of gains coming just before mainnet.

Zilliqa is potential, but what about Quakchain? Moreover those have mobile wallet, it is convenient! It seems for me potential and Quarkchain can compete with Zilliqa. That's how I see it.

I have been following Zilliqa for some time, I missed out on the ICO by being too late but managed to get into the project during the depressed market of Quarter 4 2018. The concepts and the technology look very promising in delivering a better performing system with lower costs involved so it is up to the team to deliver on their promises now and stick with the Roadmap.

People do not understand that scaling is not everything. I can find you much faster blockchain solutions then Zilliqa, but the problem is that no one is using it because these blockchains are not safe, not tested and no one will give money into risky thing.

I agree with you, Zilliqa is a very interesting and original project. To solve the scalability problem, sharding technology is used, which allows to process several thousand transactions in parallel without slowing down the system. Now the team is performing final tests before launching its own network. And recently, a new system has been introduced that can restore the entire network in case of any failure or attack. Definitely this project deserves to be in the top-10.

Alot of the crypto is coming out with the term sharding. They only copying the code . Who ever comes up with it first. Will be followed by the rest. Imo pos is the next best crypto. When mining becomes too drastic in 20 years. They will look for a coin with pos.

There are alot of competition on the market,  so they will have potential to be top 5 crypto according  to innovation and the development of the project. According  to my research,  TRX and WAVES is has more potential  to be top 5 crypto. 

It's possible they are traded in 77 markets, they have a good volume daily and the price is stable community support is adding up so you are right it's only a matter of time before it gets into the top 5 if any of the coins in the top 5 will neglect their development.

All these projects with no real dapps or network usage on them won't make it, I believe network effect would swallow most of these useless network in the space, people are seeing through them now. Can you tell me two successful projects on Zilliqa network today, I believe none so do no raise your hope on this

Zilliqa is a solid project but was pumped and dumped aggressively but it has now found a stable footing at around the 0.019 cent mark. I think it will take a few months for it to gain more recognition. I did have a small bag but unfortunately had to sell it to give my Family some money they badly needed, but I plan to get a Nexo loan and get my bag back with a Nexo loan as I can use some BTC and ETH as collateral. It really is a praiseworthy project but the whales dumped it form ATH with the excuse that Binance introduced margin trading, which they did at not a very good time. I do hope this project gets more long term traction. I like the idea of the STABLECOIN running on Zilliqa.

When we talk about people carrying out their own due diligence it is to find out what they like most in a project and hence will make them to invest and probably hold long term, I believe this post is a clear picture of it; although many will not agree nor see the need to invest in Zilliqa but you have made your own stand with it. In my own opinion, I have heard a lot about the coin but It really  didn't move me to invest because I have other coins in my portfolio which I think offers more than this one but that doesn't mean it is not good enough because the review so far all points to it being a good coin.

I am curious why this thread is up again after posted in 2018 and likely this becomes a dead thread. After no one visiting for some years ago, this thread is up. Is there any good news of Zilliqa? After your prediction, this coin is now still in 56 ranks of CMC.

However, yeah, good development because until now the team is very responsible for this project. This year, they have new exchanges to list. This coin is also tradable in several exchanges in my country and it has big community members who love this.

This coin has faced its All Time Low in this year (Mar 13, 2020). the price hit around $0.002477 USD only. But now, they are increasing significantly and reaching $0.017802 USD. Actually it is a very good improvement only in several months and can get it back to the good change only in a few months.

I am not familiar with ziliqa but there are many traders I have talked said that zil is a goo altcoin. It is listed in binance wherein I trade usually. Let us see if it will be return to its ath when altcoin season started. But as of now, I am planning my buy entry in this coin. I am currently looking for sxp and erd because they are being hyped for the last weeks. But soon as I gained my TP, I think this altcoin is good to bag. Hoping that more development will come to the team right after I buy this coin.

Fundamentally Zilliqa is one of the Ethereum killers that was announced in 2017.
The ecosystem maintains scalability and high transaction speed, but it has failed to take away market share from Ethereum.
As the Ethereum ecosystem evolves, the chances of this coin being forgotten increase.

Zilliqa is a good option for investment, I somehow invested in Zilliqa and got a good profit from it, and even now I follow the news from the Zilliqa developers from time to time and it can be seen that something interesting will come from Zilliqa already soon and I think that in 2021 Zilliqa will grow in price and I am thinking about investing in Zilliqa soon.

The cool thing about Zilliqa's is that it's all about a faster rate (thousands per second) and about all the different use cases in the areas of finance, advertising, gaming and so on.

I love and respect ZIL project, it's utilities are top notch and the team are very good too but I've make up my mind to invest for ROI making only and not because if a coin will be big like Bitcoin or Ethereum in the future, who cares? No one saw Polkadot coming to top 4 on coinmarketcap when it was released, if a coin is capable let is show it, I'm done with predictions and guessing

Zilliqa will surely become very Profitable in the future but entries into top 5 on coinmarketcap is what I don't see here, there are few projects that are more promising than ZIL and they haven't even step into top 10 yet not to talk of top 5, that's way too over exaggerating and over expectations

Yes, I saw the development of the ZILLIQA (ZIL) coin in several markets, including trading exchanges in my country, with a supply of 20 billion and currently circulating in the world market 10 billion, it is also listed on several well-known markets such as Binance, Bitmax, bittrex etc.

In terms of price, there has been no development that leads to a very positive direction, like coins in the market in general.

1. How is the development of both the price or other positive things about the coin/zil project in the future.

Zilliqa's performance make me quite surprised, after reaching the lowest price in March 2020. I think Zilliqa will become shitcoin, I guess I was
wrong. Because surprisingly the Zilliqa price suddenly pumped at the end of 2020, even though it still hasn't returned to the ATH price.
So it is very lucky for investors who managed to buy Zilliqa in March 2020, because Zilliqa fell very deeply, so if sell it now can get a profit.

But I doubt Zilliqa is not good for long term investment, because it doesn't have strong fundamentals. Possible increase in Zilliqa at the end of 2020
there is price manipulation from whales to play pump and dump, which after the pump, the price of Zilliqa began to slowly decline, now the price
has decreased. So for me Zilliqa is not a recommended project for investment.
