Perhaps CampBX puts a temp withdrawal hold on new accounts, even after verification? Title: Re: CampBX Holding coins hostage for "Cold Wallet maintenance" Post by: Dropkickdragout on October 24, 2013, 03:50:41 AM the verification i spoke of in that thread was for bitstamp not CampBX

Title: Re: CampBX Holding coins hostage for "Cold Wallet maintenance" Post by: mccoyspace on October 24, 2013, 04:36:12 AM I've never had issues withdrawing coins from them. In fact they show up on blockchain almost instantly.
Can you still receive deposits? And you have tried transfering just a small amount? I've never seen that message. Their support response can be slow (a day or two) but they do get back to you. Write them. I know its easy for me to say, but try to relax. Many people have had a great experience with them. You haven't lost your coins. Title: Re: CampBX Holding coins hostage for "Cold Wallet maintenance" Post by: Dropkickdragout on October 24, 2013, 04:49:15 AM i managed to get 8 of the 218 coins out, 3 in one and 5 in another, but repeating the attempts failed again with the same error message.
Title: Re: CampBX Holding coins hostage for "Cold Wallet maintenance" Post by: Dropkickdragout on October 24, 2013, 05:01:48 AM Here's my theory. When people deposit coins they go into an active or "hot" wallet, and after some time are transferred to the "Cold" wallet, and with the withdraws i am attempting there aren't enough coins in the hot wallet, which is why i can occasionally get 3-5 coins out because someone just deposited them. but they have no right to ignore my tickets or withhold my btc because of their poor business practices.
Title: Re: CampBX Holding coins hostage for "Cold Wallet maintenance" Post by: Walsoraj on October 24, 2013, 05:40:00 AM the verification i spoke of in that thread was for bitstamp not CampBX huh?: I am trying to get verified on campbx so i can with draw my account balance there. i mesaged support on either Thursday or Friday and was told: There is a batch of KYC verifications scheduled to go out Sat night - your application should be in it. Thank you, CBX Support However here it is Monday and I haven't heard from them since. Should I be worried or just try and be patient? Title: Re: CampBX Holding coins hostage for "Cold Wallet maintenance" Post by: Dropkickdragout on October 24, 2013, 05:42:25 AM Sorry for the miscommunication, i originally was going through CampBX but since they have been ignoring me for a week, i applied to bitstamp and was denied (low res scans) the issue now is that i cant get my coins off of cambBX
once every 10 minutes or so it allows me to withdraw 3 coins...so thats what im doing until they fix this mess. unfortunately i still have 200 coins to move Title: Re: CampBX Holding coins hostage for "Cold Wallet maintenance" Post by: Dropkickdragout on October 24, 2013, 08:00:09 AM Great, the delay in this system has already cost me 6,600 USD
edit: 10,000 Title: Re: CampBX Holding coins hostage for "Cold Wallet maintenance" Post by: Dropkickdragout on October 24, 2013, 08:10:31 AM they finally figure their shit out, all my money is out of their system.
