Hi everyone! Wondering if you have heard of any new blockchain or cryptocurrency projects with focus on social issues like healthcare, sustainability, community, integration etc.? I read about ecocoin and oncopower and thought it'd be great to hear some more examples of the use of blockchain for these important issues. I came across Deedcoin. They are having a direct impact on the real estate community by reducing commissions people have to pay to buy and sell their homes. Real estate commissions are out of line. This company solves the problem and already has a network of agents that are willing to work on a reduced  commission. Could have a major impact on how real estate commissions are paid in the future.

Yes Docamedic, paying services project and many more. There are many people contributing the wellness for the crypto currency and then they comes good blockchain implemented proposal about the complete market or something.
I personally expect these kind of social cause related projects will be takes bitcoin as very postive medium to the world people.

I think Byteball is a very innovative cryptocurrency, and quite underpriced for the level of development the currency has right now.

Oh yes, I was about to mention giftcoin but seems like you got to it first. It is a really simple concept, and based on those popular investment apps style like Acorn in the UK.

What I like most is that it is supposed to be able to let you track where your cents go to, and how they are used. This is the thing blockchain should be used for!

That's a really interesting take on Byteball, of which I'm quite proud to have been an early adopter (just too bad I had hardly any bitcoin when the early rounds were first distributed). Yes, it's underpriced, yes, it's undergoing a period of transition now and yes, it has some amazing technology that I've managed to use myself with success (first time I ever tried conditional smart payments on any crypto ever).

I never realised it would have social benefits though... and I'm not sure it can argue to have that side to it. Yes, it's good for the community, they had a great spirit of adoption and the devs keep thinking of useful ways to get even more users on board. But social change?

I've met several of ICO before that looks just like this which is their main purpose is all about the health of their clients. Thanks for that, I totally agree! After having found some amazing projects, I've been doing some more research into one of my passions - namely arts and culture. I've had a closer look at Cultural Places and saw they are running an ICO right now. Project looks quite fascinating: easy ticketing, crowdfunding for artists, transparent donations plus cheaper prices for travellers. Do you know anything similar in arts and culture? Meanwhile I'll do some more research in some of your great suggestions! Keep me posted on new ideas, more research to be done!  :)
