Title: Altcoins with PASSIVE INCOME?
Post by: Nebell on March 20, 2018, 05:32:11 PM
Thread.

I invested in COSS as it gives 50% of the trading fee back to token holders. Currently, I only get a few bucks per week with a bit less than 6000 coins. It could very well pay off in the future, or not.

I'm curious if there are more altcoins like COSS with a chance to grant some passive income in the future?

there are some coins that give a passive income, or a little stake just for holding a certain amount.

There are a lot of POS and masternode coins/tokens to get passive income as well as DPOS, for example Waves, NEM. However, for half a year I'm experimenting with Kucoin and it pays well (during the peak price jumped to ~20USD).

The best coin to hold is NEO as you will earn GAS just for keeping it in your wallet. It is easy to claim, just press the button in your NEON wallet that says claim gas! If you prefer not to hold it in a wallet, buy and store it on Binance and they will collect the gas for you and put it in your wallet. Can't get easier than that ;D

There's not much out there that can give you a high reward for holding. Bitcoin is the only passive coin that I know of from an investor's standpoint.

Can you please describe how it works? They just issue more and more coins?

There are such coins, like everyone I first thought it would be good investment and profitable but they are really not good as a investment, I think investing in them is waste of money.

As Bitbollo suggests you can found a list of Proof Of Stake coin/token at https://www.poslist.org/

If you are interested give a look at https://pool.stakinglab.io/ is an interesting site, their team tracks any new project from ideation and analyze any new project before it comes live.

Every coin or token has different staking method, if you are interested in a specific crypto you should learn how the staking method works before to start an investment.

By the way, for me the best POS coin is NEO, no doubt. You can claim free GAS and the best thing is that don’t require you to keep your staking wallet open all the times like in other POS coin/token.

you can check DigixDAO and its product DGX. AFAIK they will share the fee with the DGD holders.

I'd recommend looking into MEDIC. I've got a masternode share (20k medics) and get about ~350 medics income https://mediccoin.com/

Envion is also a good one who gives a ROI. They want to give it with the mining system who they build. It is also one of the biggest ICOs.

You all have seemingly forgot the coin that COSS was modelled after and that coin was Kucoin Shares. Which was modelled after BNB aka Binance coin. Really all the credit should go to Binance here but we will let it slide this time :P.

Yes I forgot Envion. But they have some issues with distributing the tokens, bounties.
I wish they had better KYC process druing the ICO.

Actually COSS price is also volatile so total value of your coss holding might deplete more than what weekly profit you have got from them in total. There are different exchange tokens which can be used for discount in trading and also can get profit shared by the exchange. For excample Binance coin (BNB) and Kucoin Shares.

I don't think we can consider them as passive income opportunities, but they are good to get discount in daily trading.

Both Binance and KuCoin are not long term. KuCoin will lower its fee split every year. This is why I'm not interested in them.

There are many altcoins that pay rewards their token holders. You can try parking minex coin on their website you will get some % of holding. And you also try waves coin. Also, kucoin share [ kcs ] pay some reward for holding token on their exchange.

XCPO is masternode coin, you can get passive income if run the masternode of it. But this coin will be swapped to CAZcoin, CAZcoin is cool name anyway, it will become an advantage in advertising. This is our chance to buy this coin at lower price.

In my opinion, investing the coin itself is gave a passive income. although you can find a trustable master nodes coins that will give you a passive income but most of the coin requires a huge amount of money to buy before you can start up your nodes.

If you are interesting in the masternodes coins but you must fill up the requirements before you will able to becomes master nodes coin but it looks like povx was not putting any requirements for that.
Neo is the best coin with potential passive income right now compared with the majority of masternodes coins which give you less than it.

The passive income in coins is great with NEO because GAS is a very valuable asset on this network and has a very good market price compared with other coins that only bring shitty dividend.
