it would help if laptop has a camera and can read QR codes. Best would as part of wallet function if not you may just have to type in long bitcoin address to send it to them. if you are receving BTC agaiin you need a tool to covert your bitcoin address to a QR code. your wallet program might or there are webpages you can enter a string and it will show it as a QR code.
