There is nothing. The Bitcoin blockchain records all transaction history of Bitcoin and validates it through proofreading. But this is not collateral. Bitcoin has no other tangible assets behind it, like cars as collateral for car loans, or houses as collateral for mortgages.

There's none.
Is there any other tangible assets behind Bitcoin as its collateral?
Unless you will use your tangible assets to ask for a loan in the bank and buy bitcoin.

Its merely being used to store value base on the market. someone wants to buy 1 bitcoin for a dollar each and some will buy 1 bitcoin for 2$ and this is how its price was set base on the exchanges and the people buying and selling bids. No collateral. It all depend to how much a buyer is wiling to pay and a seller wants to profit.

What do you mean by 'any other tangible assets behind Bitcoin as its collateral'? In the first place there is no tangible asset behind it so any other is null.

In my own perspective Bitcoin's value right now is based on a $ market capitalization. And for anything that has a value and can be buy by a $ currency then can consider a collateral if we may.

Well, you should leave this forum and stay away from bitcoin.
chances are you will panic in the level of accidents that occurred like these three weeks. I think, in essence, if you are really a beginner and want to get involved on crypto and bitcoin. one of the most efficacious by finding lots of reading on the various references about bitcoin. and this is very important for your understanding.
