Title: Best Category to Invest in?
Post by: cryptothief on March 21, 2018, 10:28:35 PM
I am looking at privacy coins at the moment because I think they will benefit more than other categories this year. Particularly interested in Pivx as I think it has plenty of room to grow, especially with the reasonably low supply. Also like projects involved in AR/VR, whether they can live up to expectations is another matter; but I like Cappasity, even though it has performed shockingly since the turn of the year, and especially since their second phase of the ICO started. Confident it will bounce back though, time will tell. Any other categories worth looking at?

I think that VR/AR has good potential like you said, but right now the industry is still in its infancy, the same goes with cryptocurrencies, so you're looking at a niche within a niche, which is rarely a good thing. You should focus on coins wide potential, platform and utility tokens, such as NEO and EOS. You could also look in Zilliqa and NEX as these are great projects also.

Not looking for specific projects necessarily, just a category that has the potential overall for the most growth. As I mentioned, I like privacy and AR/VR projects, but are there any other categories that have the potential to stand out? I guess finance is another one with massive potential, but think it's too early to tell which projects will emerge as the winners down the line.

Going to look into Zilliqa actually, been hearing a lot of good things. Utility tokens definitely have potential, but depend hugely on adoption, not that that is necessarily a bad thing, especially with solid projects.

so you're looking at a niche within a niche, which is rarely a good thing.

I like a niche within a niche, think it establishes them as experts in a field, especially when I think the current niche market will experience massive growth over the next few years. That said, I get what you're saying, it's a long shot for sure.

Private coins are usually good, but lately are paying close attention to them(state, hackers and exchanges), due to the inability to track transactions. I would advise to pay attention to the coins that make their own blockchain: Waves, Neo, Ada, Staratis, EOS.

Blockchain infrastructure category should be on the top. Look at ico stat and how that was growing a lot since more and more new companies are using it right now. Just like NEO, When it was called antshares and the price was $0.2 this time it grew more than the majority of people expected.

And another category just like Data platform.
But the blockchain category should be on the top of your list. And then the majority of types are promising, but it must make sense to its business plan.

I think that privacy focused coins are good but also very risky in this period when every government want to regulate crypto markets with stricly rules... my favourite sector is Automation

Bank cards like Amon and Tenx, they offer people a way to spend their crypto. That means wider adoption by more people and price of all tokens will benefit as a result. The first company that can make crypto a viable payment option will be the new Visa of the crypto world.

Yes, anonymous coins are cool. I think that now it is best to buy an anonymity coins and coins on which do ICO: Ethereum, Neo, and soon Stratis

Blockchain infrastructure category should be on the top.

Yes, thanks, I forgot about that. It's a very lucrative market in the making. Ethereum is currently the leader by far when it comes to projects being launched on it's blockchain, but the others will gradually be taking a bigger piece of the pie. I will have to look into this category in more detail, and you're right, it should be a priority.

I cant say if, Iam going to say is out of topic, but I would like to suggest that you look for a altcoin and ICO for example my signature as you look down, the possibilities that you can put an interest here to invest because they have some really good prices or should I say give and a nice way to increase your investments. You invesments may double or triple and increase more percentage.

The best one  at the moment in terms of investment is ONION, but Monero is always a market leader. Anything else comes after these two and you can´t change it.

Coins that anonymous is the coins that have real promising future. According to my observations like btc started anonymous until now it was successful and in other hand like ethereum also is anonymous it become successful too. Those coins that not have any privacy for the persons personality is have a chance to succeed although all have chances.

I tend to choose ico that involves technology and bringing different ideas from the previous ones. especially if it has a real product that can make a long progress in a successful.
there are many different categories and I think it depends on each person. and sometimes in each choice are often different from each other. most importantly you should always try to learn and analyze it.

I kinda doubt that privacy coins will have another boost this year. They have been around for years, from the hype of Darkcoin (?) until now, I think people are starting to get tired of it.

Agreed on VR/AR category though. VR/AR has a lot of potentials but it's only been used in the small segment. Pretty sure it'll expand a lot in the coming year and the future will full of it. For VR/AR, check out VividToken—an ongoing ICO for augmented reality in crypto space. The whole thing really looks interesting in my opinion.

From my personal experience, the best categories for investment are:

1. Gambling
2. Finance
3. AR/VR

There is always more space in those niches for new projects.

Would definetly go with the private coins categories for a simple reason, this year the regulators are going to get into the market and they are going to cause a lot of troubles.
Bitcoin transactions will no longer have the same anoynmous level that they used to have, and people will be searching for new ways to transact funds anonymously.
Coins like Monero, Zcash,Pivx, Digital cash, are going to benefit hugely from that.
Safe bet in my opinion.

The best category to invest in currently is the DAG coins category. Coins like Nano and IOTA are hot among the crypto users. Their free and instant transactions are nothing but the future. Coins with fees cant even compete with them. These are the only coins who are going to survive in the future.

You can invest in project that will improoved games or alternative energy like PlayKey and RedEnergy. Also I think, that new techonologies with VR and AR will give good profit.

That sounds crazy, my friend.
Although cryptography concept of anonymous, however, may not accept this kind of thinking, I don't think they will allow tokens for crime, and this is precisely the anonymous tokens of common use.
