Title: Is Ice-Dice's referral program to good to be true?
Post by: winnate on October 24, 2013, 10:23:12 PM
I stumbled upon a new (to me) dice site, https://ice-dice.com/. which claims it has an amazing referral program that compounds.

I was wondering if anyone had any experience, if its as good as it sounds, or if theres a catch.

If you haven't checked it out, It would be great if you'd navigate using the referral link!  All proceeds go to help a starting out organic foods company.

Wow, seriously? There are better ways than this to get referrals. This just makes you look poor. Anyways if the referral system did not work then ice dice would have a very bad reputation!

Yeah, poor and desperate. You've got your referral link in your signature, be happy with that and cool the spam.

If you've got sharp eyes you'll see what the post above me and this post have in common.

 ;)

I certainly won't follow his referral.  A downside to the large referral bonuses is the pay for the referral comes in the way of a higher house edge againt players.

2% house edge is no thanks. 1% is max :)

I will be your referral if you give me back 5% of what I lost. :)

Actually, if you look at the program it really isn't that great.  It does go a few levels deep but its weakness is that you have to be both an investor and a player on ice-dice in order to get your referral money.  Iceicedavid seems to be toning this down a little bit, but that was a major turn off for me.

From their site:

You must maintain a minimum outstanding investment of 0.1BTC in Ice Dice
Your daily wager must be greater than or equal to 0.1BTC
