Well if you say families you probably work to provide them with material goods. So in practice you work for money but you choose who to give it to. So as I understand people work for better life in general for them or their loved once. But some times you can over work yourself and that can affect your health negatively so that can be counter productive. In my opinions passive income is a way to go. If you what to do it with out investing you can check out some projects on here. I found one that pays you for working out, witch I already do. It called lympo.io if you are interested in getting money buy just doing what you already do or should do. That is passive income and depending on the market you can really profit from it. :)

I work to give myself and those around me the good life. Thats the motivation.

I often remind myself that the workplace is where I spend the most of my time - which means pretty much my whole life. During my 15+ years of career, lots of my works were scrapped by circumstantial reasons; e.g. diclined proposal documents. So I tell myself that everything I do at work is basically for my own entertainment.

I am motivated by deadline and work well with a clear timeline in place. Meeting a deadline help me feels like I have accomplished a goal and keeps me motivated to continue to exceed expectations. My main motivation comes from providing excellent service to every customer with whom i contact with. I look for opportunities to improved my customer service skills so that every person I interact will have positive experience.

Payments is the only thing that motivates me to keep working and finally interest.

my motivation in doing work is achieving my dreams for my family and for my self... i'm a happy to do working very hard for accomplishing something because i have reason to do and to level up the life of my family.

I'm a visual artist so I don't really struggle with bosses, working hours and such. It's all about personal improvement, satisfaction in what I do and having buyers of my work satisfied.

Some people might day that the reason they are motivated to do their job and responsibilities is for their family. But for me, my reason to do well on my responsibilities is solely for the purpose of improving my way of life.

For myself. So 20 years down the line when most of my life is behind me, I can smile at where I'm at and not feel as if I didn't give it my all.

In human life we have also different reason and motivation  to ourselves according to their task and obligation probably to survive in everyday life, because we have also different will power to carry from our daily task through to have a good motivation in our work, but yeah,,honestly one of them is family matter, so drive from positive  thoughts, to have a good life for the sake in my own family and to have also strong  mindset to fight of some problem related to personal matter,

I definitely work for money. It allows my family and I to actually pay for things. Wish there was another way to do things but I'm not sure how to go off the grid.

I agree with your idea because for me costumers satisfaction is always priority and it feels good that we satisfies costumer because it means we meet the services that they need from us and the same time its boost our confidence as far as costumer and supplier relationship.

Yes, i think the is the most common answer. The Family is really the top priority. Second I love and get motivated to work because my life is sad. I don't know what to do sometimes. I felt so depressed.

There are many examples about motivation, I have heard that in Pakistan there is a new judge appointed how is blind, there are many persons are working with their disabilities and earning well then why any normal person cannot earn money. I motivate my self hat if i worked hard now then i will lie a wealthy happy life in near future, so never stop thinking about your future.

For me the family and myself are the motives of my work. Because if we work hard and we become rich, everyone will feel reluctant and respect us. They also will see one eye and demean us. many poor people are disgraced and humiliated by others. I do not want that to happen to me and my family.

Money.

Well, I like my job, so it’s not so hard to convince myself in doing it. Sure, it doesn’t mean that I’m working without pay, so salary in a list of my extra-motivating factors. And needless to say that money brings wellness, possibility to take care of my family and other types of goods.
So, in summary my motivation is satisfaction that I get doing my job + numerous things that comes with a salary.

I'm not a person who believes in motivation. I think you don't need to be motivated to do something because if you do, you're not doing the right thing.

Example:
Let's say you love playing football but instead, you are a programmer (not the best contrast, I know). Maybe you find programming easier than football but if your heart beats for something else, go for it. Being a programmer, the salary motivates you while playing football you don't need motivation, it's just something you love. You can still do both  if you really enjoy :)

For me, discipline is more important than motivation.
I consider motivation as a short-time urge to do something that fades quickly, while discipline (self-discipline at that) keeps you going day after day.
Thus, today you may feel motivated to go to the gym, but what`ll happen tomorrow, when the situation is different? Self-discipline and habit are the solution in this case.

My daughter and my family and without GOD I can't do everything what I have now.

Well I have a lot of motivation:

1. I need money to buy food, have a roof over my head, go on a trip, repair car if girfrend parks wrong.
2. Make my boss happy - otherwise he yells and i am afraid he will have heartatack.
3. I like to feel useful!

There are some things that matters to anyone such as family, comfort at home, basic human needs etc. More money = easier to get all of that.

I'm doing the hardword now so i can enjoy and pursuit my hobbies later on. Doing thing for oneself should be a person biggest motivation.
