In February this year, Beveryn passed the $ 2.4 million Efirium crypto currency to the International Foundation for the Support of Research on Anti-Aging, which is headed by the famous British gerontologist Aubrey de Gray (SENS Research Foundation). Attending doesnt always mean to invest, maybe he's just interested with the project. Vitalik did not do this for PR. Therefore did not make public statements. and I found an official confirmation in an interview with one of the newspapers, but in Russian. If they succeed, he will benefit too. Just like Ray Kurzweil is endorsing research on how to achieve immortality so that he can avoid to die.

I am sure the same can be applied to Human Beings as well.
