So with the current dip happening as we speak TRX is at 3c and Neo is at $67.

Now I have 1.2k remaining :) :) ready to invest for a good return. Should I:

1)Go all in for TRX at 3c and hold till test main net pump and dump it?

2) should I invest it in Neo?

Spilt your $1200 between Neo and TRX. With TRX test net coming end of Mar 2018, most likely we see a pump. But, Neo price is attractive now. So go for both will be a safe choice.

I would personally invest in both of them.

TRX test net will come at the end of March and released later in April or May and you can get a good return.

NEO is one of the most promising coin in my opinion and at this price is worth to buy.

I think the best solution will be to wait for better times and all merge and buy the best tokens that can be saved and make a profit.

There is no best token in that two selection. Both of those tokens is a good project. I hot your point that he needs to wait for the right time to buy, but that time is now not soon , it now !

If your relly want a good return in your investments, follow all of us that you have to split your investments into that two coin, so if one lose its not that so hard to recover because the one is in green possitive sign price.

I do suggest that you invest your 1.2k  in Neo and Trx too. Both coins got the potential to bring you good profit.

Go for NEO, this year will be the busiest year for NEO.

Why not invest half-half in both? Don't know about Trx but I think it can give a nice return as it is among one of the most severely hit coin with the recent down turn. Secondly I have no doubt that NEO is a good investment as it is the no.1 coin in China and the Chinese alternative to Ethereum.

Investing in the two i feel is good. You can split your your investment between them. I believe that Tron (TRX) will be one of the top cryptocurrencies in 2018. Among some other tokens, Tron was incredibly cheap at one point in its history, rewarding early investors who recognized its potential and held on to it. Tron, in my humble estimation, has the potential to become one of the legendary tokens and possibly even eclipse some other tokens. Likewise NEO i believe has a lot of potentials. I suspect so many people who know about the staking of NEO to get GAS, will start investing into NEO and by so doing, the value will rise.

Don't invest in TRX if you don't want to lose your money. TRX seem like just a scam tool of John McAfee :). If you follow John McAfee twitter I think you already knew he listed TRX as best coin of a week and it's the main reason why TRX pumped so quickly months ago. But for now, although TRX has very high trading volume but it price is still like suck. I think NEO is totally better choice.

Prioritize to invest in neo, if there is more money then you can buy trx. I'm not saying trx is bad, but I think its growth is slower than neo and trx is suitable for long term investment.

I think you should go to NEO for invest. because in a condition of correction, while, I do not rate the value, but I see the credibility and quality of altcoin.

If you are having big fund on investing the crypto currencies. NEO is one of the good option for anyone bro. There is wide range of price fluctuations on NEO from the past 5 months. If the cryptos has been settled in its level. There would not be any issues for seeing the price growth.

I am little concerned about the TRX now and im 99% sure that this coin will never go more than 15c again ever because it is not in line with its road map and moreover the roadmap is just plagiarism of some other projects which means nothing here. I mean check twice before you go for the TRX. If you have huge investment already made into the TRX then all the best recovering it from the small pump that may happen in the future. So apart from this I would like to suggest NEO as your primary choice here. There is no need to explain why NEO.  :D

Depends on how you wish to trade. TRX is good for day traders but it looks like bots on binance so you need to be good. For long term and safe hodl you should pick NEO. It will rise up like Ethereum and you can claim GAS as well for an extra bonus. Both are good so do a split with 67% NEO and 33% TRX

I think Neo should yield a quick and better returns than Tronx. Actually, the truth be told here, both has a huge lot of potentials, but i think Neo has the upper hand here. The first factor that boost Neo's chances is that of its idea of its own Blockchain. Hence, Neo is still a better option than Tronx.

Splitting is the best option but give more preference to NEO it is a very promising project and in future, there are more projects will come based on this platform. So 100% the price will increase and yes it will rise up to ETH. If you keep your coins in neotracker you can claim free GAS.

I'd probably go with the following strategy:

65% -> NEO
35% -> TRX

or

75% -> NEO
25% -> TRX

Biggest portion I would risk it in NEO as for the smallest portion, being in TRX.

You always can invest in both coins. I see NEO as a coin for long-term investment. TRON is a coin that can yield a profit in a few months. But of course there is no guarantee that my and/or anyone else opinion is correct at all)) Maybe the market will fall for another 50% tomorrow and won't recover for years, who knows.

You need to understand that neo is more reliable, but there will be less profitability, but the tron is very risky, but if the risk justifies itself, then the yield will be much higher

It is good, but the important thing is not about the portion of every coin but how dip you can get your self to invest in the Trx and NEO. If you can get all of them on the decline and you can earn an instant profit with whatever you have been putting your portion in every coin, that will remain the same for every coin.

I think it is best to split it. how are you going to split it is up to you, may be 50%-50%, may be add another coin, but don't put it in one place, please.

I would choose the tron. Because I love to risk but when the risk can bring big money. We all saw how much the throne grew up in the price of this winter, so I think he has all the chances to grow even more. but it is very risky.)

In my opinion i have no criticisms regarding the two currencies, the only comment i can share is the time for both, in consequence there is much to be delivered and to be reciprocated by the developers. Focus on, the NEO tends to be short term due to investor disclosures and expectations and Trx is long term and also tends to match expectations, 60% NEO and 40% Trx.

I think personally NEO will be more quick return, because I think NEO is more widely used so that makes NEO stronger than TRX.

TRX showing his capabilities to grow uprise their price, I really believe that two coin giving profits someday.

How about investing in both? Of course with considering the potential of each coin or token. Better token tokens get bigger allocations, eg 60:40 or 70:30 or even 90:10.

Both of  the coin are great, NEO got a stronger base to make profit while TRX just starting to grow, for long term I see trx is a better choice but for more secure option go to neo, but since trx still cheap I will put more money in TRX, I got a good feeling trx could become very valuable in long term

If you are looking for a safe investment vehicle then i'd choose NEO. At least with NEO you have a legit team and project and are investing a platform for future use of many other cryptocurrencies. With TRX you are investing in a very targeted niche where you could loose big if they don't deliver. And so far, there are no indications that the TRX team is competent at all.

I would suggest putting your investment to NEO and I see it more profitable than TRX. NEO coin holders are incentivized by the ability to receive a payout for holding their tokens, which is done through GAS. You can earn passive income by just holding NEO. Still, the best strategy is to divide your investment in to two so that it will support each other to cover the other's losses or receive more income.

I think if you want a quick return, TRX is better than NEO. As the release of the testnet is at the end of this month. There may be a pump of TRX.

NEO isnt just a cryptocurrency anymore, but a monster of an ecosystem with differnt layers underneath it, including ONT, NEX, ELA, OnChain, and now they are even tightly partnering with Stellar/IBM! And even major chinese companies such as Alibaba are invested in it, and some even collaborating with it.

For TRX i believe you should be waiting for their incoming coinburn, it's listed on their roadmap so you better check it. I believe there's another news which justin sun states that their test net will be launched. As far as i remember it will be on first week of april so you better watch for it in order to exit on a good price. As per NEO, i believe it's a very good investment since more and more ICO's are using NEO platform as of now. It will be a big thing to watch for that's for sure.

Trx also have their coin burn event and If I am not mistaken the price should be up because the supply will be decrease. Yes you should invest in NEO but do your own search first, I am just waiting for NEO to go down around 400k sats then I will buy a bag of it again.

I would prefer them both instead of choosing one of them because that's more profitable than choosing one. Both of them are really good I understand why you saying that on TRX because it is a new coin and nothing proves right now but I know someday TRX will show to anyone how good there technology is.

NEO is a slow and steady crypto and the rising trend is bit slow compared to other crypto but don't have any down price and steadily trending on a stable price.

TRX is an emerging cryto and compared to NEO you could invest in TRX since the pump is yet to come and utilize this opportunity before the pump. Post pump of TRX you may invest partial investment into NEO.

I choose NEO too. I think neo is a coin with a rising potency very soon. I am also very surprised that it has fallen to these prices. One of the coins I am most trusting at the moment :)

Both coins won't give quick and big returns in bear markets cause they belong top coins in ranking. But both 2 coins are great for future gains as noone know what to expect from Neo's future with icos and other things.

I think TRX because they are basically trying to bring crypto to the masses. Also the ath of tron was approx 29c which is 6X where we are now, and no doubt it will get back there very soon with the test net etc coming in a few days. I think they will be no.1 in the not too distant future.

I don't understand why many investors like TRON which don't have any product. And if i remember right, TRX increased to $0.3 in the past January after Tron's Founder is Justin Sun tweeted that "More partnerships are coming! I think so too. NEO seems bullish and I likely to grow more than 5X till the end of this year. NEO operates on smart contracts and has advanced technology than ETH. Also it is highly scalable and can process thousands of transactions per year. Moreover NEO blockchain aims at connecting the outside world problems to the blockchain technology in order to provide effective solutions. NEO also provides passive income to its holders in the form of GAS which can be exchanges for other crypto coins or can be converted to fiat money.

Well, I don’t think that TRX is any way near to be termed as scam. TRX is highly decentralized, fast and has low fees. Moreover its team in really hard working and experienced. TRX is launching its main net this end of march and also there is a coin burn and is likely to pump hard. Moreover not only TRX price sucks currently, all coins in the market are currently down by more than half than their all time highs. I would say that TRX is quite undervalued currently and is possibly the best platform to invest in.

Yes, NEO is not stable. Crypto coins have a very volatile value. People here only talk about ETH, Bitcoin, NEO and only say that thoses coins are stable. But they are not. They are only used for price speculation.
TRX is in a better position than NEO. I would choose TRX compare to NEO.

All-in in TRX only is the worst idea ever :)). Don't you ever told that you should invest all your money in only one crypto? I think it'll be better if you spend half of your money in TRX and another half for NEO. Both of them are good enough to invest but don't hope that you can earn money quickly in this world if you don't have any experience or knowledge about what you're going to do.

Both coins are good to invest better you invest half and half in both coins. But my choice is first neo only. Then only TRX, because neo is high potential and promising coin than TRX. Neo is also called as china's ethereum. Now the price of neo is very stable and use this chance to buy the neo coin and hold the coin for future. I think that none of these coins will give you a quick profit. These coins are good for long-term investment, but not for fast money. Now you can get fast money only from investing in ICO. But it's very difficult to find a good project.

TRX is just garbage in this market and this news has a huge impact on the value of the TRX. I don't think there is a quick returns today, mostly it takes months before we see gains from our investment. TRX and NEO are both doing great but they are affected with the dips and they only recover once BTC price goes up. We know the sentiment of the other altcoins, they are still dependent on btc that's why it can't go move faster as we think.

By the time this thread was posted, Neo's price was $67 and now it was cheaper.

If before OP's asking if he has to invest to Neo, now you can say the answer.

Holding TRX will give you nothing but holding NEO though small amount will give you GAS.

Just be patience to wait for the best price but if you insist better trade it all to ETH as this could bounce back easily once the market returns in a bullish.

TRX is all about hype and people like to invest in it, for quick gains i would go for tron as Justin Sun is a great marketer. However, if you want bug long term gains then pick NEO as it has much better potential and you can collect GAS tokens for holding it in your wallet

I would probably say go with NEO. The price of TRX has been falling lately, and with NEO there is a use case. If you're looking for a quick return I would advise against it as earning a quick profit has been difficult although possible in this market.

Honestly I hold trx for almost a year. I feel like this has potential to grow. Infact they continue pursuing and making partnership that can help them so that investors will trust trx.

Trx will be good for quick profits because it's much more easier for it  to do x2 or more easily or get a nice percentage profit from it,  unlike Neo,  and it's easier to bag more stack in Trx than Neo thereby giving more profit

I think if you make a choice between Trx and Neo you should definitely choose Neo. Because it has a much higher potential than Trx. If you do not trust enough, you can invest in both.

Having patience is good in cryptocurrency trading but there are still ways ones can make quick return through crypto currency and it risky as you said because the person must invest in the right coin, have the right capital and must also have good trading knowledge cause it will apply the day trade method.

Fully agreed. I don't like Tron (but I admire Justin Sun and his marketing skills). And I like NEO and his building ecosystem. I think NEO simply restore price at the next bullrun. All  the prerequisites are present - solid team, working platform, partners and ecosystem for future programmers

And as we speak price tumbled even further. TRX almost at 2cents and NEO is at mere $20 range. In fact ETH fall really bad, right now at $225.
Almost all top 10 coins, except BTC and ETH, are 90%+ down from there all time high.

2 things can happen from here:
1. one is that you know if any bull run came like last bull run of dec-jan then what will be the approximate highs. And since we have already been there, already seen all time highs so it's clear that it's not impossible to reach there. So you can buy now and wait for the bull run.
2. another is that we'll see BTC in 2-3k range and ETH in 70-80$ range and then we will see how people react to that, maybe it'll proved to be another bubble in the history.

I will be keeping NEO much longer and will definitely choose this one than TRX.
TRX is just depending on hype of the developer but actually, this coin has no potential and just money matters.
So big percentage of the total token is held by such owner and just waiting for the time to the price to go up and then sell it again.
