Finally, about time they done some spring cleaning if you ask me. Also because they are in the US you kinda had to expect them to be one of the first exchanges to do this type of cleaning out. I expect Poloniex to be next, although they have less coins to begin with so the cleaning may not be as drastic.

Cleaning time is coming. LOL. At first I think you should change your topic tittle "28" not "82" :)). I think Bittrex is trying to remove all trash token in their exchange to make their exchange become better. Of course nobody want to trade in an exchange which full of trash token. I think this is the biggest removing of Bittrex exchange, I think there are so many people are complaining about Bittrex exchange that why they decided to make this big changing.

Yeah. It needs cleaning right now. When I look at some exchanges, there are too many coins that worthless and not even has a trading volume. So I hope that other exchange should follow and be stricter in accepting new coins.

I believe Bittrex made a good choice in removing these coins. The volume is so small that it is not worth the effort in maintaining the coins.

Look at all these coins, how many of these coins are actually having ongoing development or increase in the use case or adoption?

I believe perhaps it has among all the 82 but it would need to be improve more in this case

Maintaining low volume coins is very expensive for an exchange as it isn't easy keeping up to date with the wallet softwares and many times the wallets have issues as the exchanges handle millions of transactions. Also these coins just clutter the other coin pair listings.

This is a good move that bittrex made now, i hope there will be new tokens on their list soon, or they will accept more applicants now.
Many alternative coins really need a good and decent exchange. i hope they can get much potential coins or tokens on their exchange.

The only one on that list that I recognize is metal ... I wonder if it being removed because it is too much like a security. 

This is not delisting of coins, they have been delisted many time ago, but wallets for withdrawing it are still active. Now, finally, Bittrex will close this wallets.

Bittrex seems to be cleaning up the rubbish garbage littering his platform
Some coins in bittrex do have very small volumes, so it only makes space trading inefficient
With cleaning and delisting of coins, I think this is a natural thing, because it is an unused coin, it must be removed

It will be good if other coins with large volumes and good prospects appear on the site of these coins.  Since at last time bittrex is not very active adds new coins.  And many projects dream to place their tokens on this exchange.

Actually, the same thing should be done on Ethereum system too.

There are tens of rubbish tokens which occupy the wallets.

Actually, only a handful number of coins has a meaning, target or an ongoing project. The others are rubbish or just for profiting with trades at the disposal of other traders :))

This cleaning should be done on whole crypto world. I believe in near future all of garbage coins/tokens will be vanished from market. Good and usable projects will survive.

I am glad that the coins are all getting removed because there will be more BTC used for the updated coins. Failed projects shouldn't get any money.

I think bittrex does this too well. These tokens have too low liquidity, not enough to maintain the service on the trading floor. In the future, there will definitely be many more batches of tokens removed on bittrexx.

Good move of Bittrex because majority of those coins/tokens is dead-end projects. But as I understand Bittrex removes wallets of already delisted cryptoassets.

The workers at Bittrex may just sell the coins after they remove them. So I would expect a dump on those coins really soon.

That is a good move. It will reduce the number of beginner developers who just want to make a profit through ICO without thinking about the impact that will occur. As is often the case today, many developers are launching projects and Coin / Tokens that have poor quality and ultimately have no value and enthusiasts at all. With the cleanup by Bittrex, hopefully this will make the developers to think of a better strategy for the project and the Coin / Token they will make. And the world of cryptocurrency will only be filled by qualified Coin / Token to invest.

Probably you're so happily say because I am not the owner of these tokens. Think about the fact that someone is a tragedy. I understand that this decision was made under pressure. But I'm not happy about it. I feel sorry for the investors. For me, this message looks like an obituary.

It might be because there aren’t much trading volumes for those coins. Bittrex is earning from trading fees, might as well remove them and save on resources and maintenance costs.

I think it's a good news because There were so many rubbish coins in their database. Now it's clean. Everyone find your coin easily.

Yes they do that to convince many people that bittrex will only have a qualified and trusted coin. So that way people will have the mindset that bittrex is the best because it can offer security in making investments. Bittrex will remove the coin that many people have left behind and also I think the bittrex team is professional so they can choose which things they should do and what not. The choice is tough, but I think it's the best way to bring down the shitcoin that is currently very large. Reputation of cryptocurrency can decrease when the amount of coin is not qualified And I am optimistic bittrex can do its best to fix it.

Yes cleaning time their exchange just to be listed only those legit and on top coins. Maybe this is the good start that market will go up and can be listed those coins were really has the potential.

Good so these wothless pieces of shitcoins in the market will be removed from out way,these coins doesnt have any use or there are no enough people interested with these shitcoins,they shouldnt be removing only 82 they could remove most of the shitcoins in their exchanges to less people waste their money with these shitty coins.

They probably got in early when it was easy to get listed on top exchanges, or when bittrex was just starting out. It's good for them to start clearing out the shitcoins and the abandoned projects. Too many coins makes it confusing, and there are plenty of low volume exchanges for them to move to.

Getting rid of some scam and shitcoins is a great idea,but I hope they will continue removing more.Bittrex is one of the best exchanges in crypto and I love trading on it.

It's actually good that they are doing the delisting of the tokens with low liquidity and without a daily trade volume, as with lots of dead coins on bittrex I was starting to have its impression as same of that of yobit which I dislike very much because it's slow, they are manipulative, also pretty less secure as compared to Bittrex, so in my thought bittrex was losing its reputation with so many dead coins listed there.
Also I have been a bag holder before in past with accidently buying a dead coin, so periodically delisting is actually pretty good for the customers also.

That's a good move for Bittrex. Maybe its time that exchange gets its name on the top exchanges again. I like trading there. With so much rubbish gone hopefully new good coins will be added there.

Wow, maybe Bittrex will only choose a quality coin for listing in its exchanges, and perhaps the coin that still survives in Bittrex is a potentially coin to be an investment coin that will get a profit  ;D

Good as long as they are removing most of the worthless coins listed in the exchanges it wont be a big problem because only few people are using/trading these shitcoins.Sometimes you need to clean the environment to protect the greater good,just like the nature becaue if the nature were abuse which are filled with trashes it might effect the whole ecosystem.

Yes for these coins I agree but I do not agree with the removal of a good coin like a MAID, BTS, TRIGG, AND RISE.
These coins have large volumes and Bittrex gives no reason why these coins can be delisted.
Everyone knows when Poloniex became a popular exchange, they did not necessarily delist the coins for no reason. They only delist coins that have low volume.

But bittrex is so tight. They are easy to list a coin but easy also delist the coin. Twice in a month, and it's very disturbing to me as a trader.

Its good for us as it will act as mere filter for the end users. The lesser the shit coins the more is the chance that we will be hitting the good coins for trading or investing into. Such cleaning must be don periodically so that we will understand basically which coin were not making any progress and whether we are having our own investment into it or not. This is kind of clean up operation that should be taken in good way. Bittrex might be doing this in their own maintenance purpose as handling such low volume coins would be unprofitable for them as no one might using them thus making it non profitable for the exchanger itself. So I think good decision.

It's only natural to remove some coin with a weak foundation, it's very unfortunate on their part but if they caused just trouble for others then it's better for them to be dissolve.

Thats positive,because bittrex nowaways are getting filled with thousands of worthless coins,they should have done this in regular basis remove those coins which doesnt have any good community,or few people who are using so that the market will be clean and less shitcoins in our environment.Making our marketplace safer to these scam and worthless coins.

Time to cheer up, this is one of the best move that bittrex made  this year,
there are too many tokens/coins on their exchange that is not good in volume or movement,
there are too many alternative coins want to be listed on their exchange, and now they will have more space for new but have grat potentials.

From time to time , bittrex always removes certain alts because the volume of trading is very low and traders lost the interest. It's a great choice that bittrex is doing this removal procces giving a shot to some new altcoins to get listed on bittrex.

Remove shitcoins, bittrex's getting better and healthier now. I still prefer bittrex over binance  although binance has a very clever developing campaign making binance the best exchange on the market now. There's no doubt   exchanges like binance and kucoin are going to go far but Bittrex who a little bit slow still has its american-backed to rely on and that's really reliable.

I think this is not a surprise. Unfortunately, every day we see new useless coins on the markets, and in my opinion, they are just waste of time and confusing the traders' mind.

Mostly of this tokens I do not know and I have not invested before. Therefore I think that it is a good decision. I hope that they will bring new and potential tokens in place of this.

Good thing because these shitcoins will be lessen,especially to bittrex which is my main exchange.Doesnt want to see these worthless coins because it only pollutes the market that is why it needs to be cleaned.This is why i choose bittrex they are doing this regularly when these coins doesnt show any good signs of improvements.

They delete their wallets for security reasons for those who are active on bittrex. The wallets mentioned above were previously purported to have stopped trading with other crypto. These wallets make the Dev team devote much effort to protecting them. If not dev regularly give them the security holes that may occur and affect the security of bittrex exchange.

They have actually gained a lot of the reputation due to this decision. Even if I ain't using this exact exchange I am actually very glad that some exchange had actually started to do the cleanings of the unnecessary coins. I hope that the others exchanges will follow this decision that the Bittrex made and that they will adopt the same system of removing the coins with low value that are actually deceiving the newbies which are looking for the long-term profit.

With thorough analyzation, the smart investor can recognize the bad and good project but with so many new investors around this amount of coins on exchanges are actually a big distraction. This current move is fantastical and innovative and it will actually lead to the acceptance of cryptomarket among the others that ain't supporting it right now.

To be honest, Bittrex has become a joke these days. They need to up their game of they will end up the same as Polo did in 2017. Binance is doing so wonderfully well and they have awesome customer support. Once they have their decentralized exchange up and going, bittrex would become history.

how many token and coins are listed on bittrex? I think it's good that these coins are now gone. maybe now and better coins are added. then the trading volume increases there and one or the other token will also increase in value if it is newly listed on bittrex. there will soon be space for new interesting coins

Good thing ,so that these thousands of shit cryptocurrencies will be lessen atleast not that much but its going to be less shitcoins in the market.Doesnt make sense why these coins are getting listed to the exchanges these weak projects shouldnt be listed at first,either way marketplace would be a better without these shitty coins.

Exchanges often have the choice to add or remove a token. But what is the reason for removing a token?


 1. Too low trading volume
2. Technical problems
3. No development of the token (the project is silent / no longer exists)
4. No or weak security of the relevant token / blockchain.

Just a good news from bittrex,bcause i am not happy with these bunch of shitcoins in the market it should be more because thousands of shitcoins are all over the market,we need to atleast get those shitcoins and set aside those worthy coins in the market,only potential coins that can give us so much profits in the future.

This isnt too alarming because bitrex is just cleaning the hood,doesnt mean that most of the coins will be delisted in the future most of these doesnt have good volume of trades that is why it is getting delisted,you wont have any problem if most of the coins you are holding are solid coins you wont be affected by this.

Good idea so that these shitcoins will be lessen and removed from out enviroment,because approximately we have 4K pieces of shitcoins in the market that is why these exchanges are getting more strict in choosing coins/project to be listed because noaways most of the coins doesnt have any good use to the community.

It's normal thing to do cause we know some existing tokens are now becoming dead. Actually, we knew bittrex as one of the biggest exchanger and they should do these to preserve their reputation and stay on top. But they should announced it first before removing to gave chances in all token holders to remove their coin in these exchanger.

Bittrex does the right thing, but unfortunately this will not solve the problem, as there will be new ICO with their markers that no one needs.

I love that news, but pity for the token creators. However, there is too mush shitty coins which are absolutely useless (except to be pumped & dumped). Strong coins will real project (like EOS, LTC...) will get healthier.

I must have thought if bittrex to remove the coin because there is a special reason that makes the coin removed, and maybe bittrex will replace the coin with a coin that has good potential in the future.

And those will about to delist too again, it is just like refilling the vacant slots. And its a good thing since we can readily sort out which of coin still have what ot takes to keep trading.

This is positive,because most of the coins listed in bittrex are useless pieces of shit,doesnt do any good to the market,low volume coins should be removed to those inactive coins that doesnt have any trading volume from the past 6months should be automatically delisted in the exchanges,so that less shitcoins will exist.

About time, most of these coins had really laughable trading volumes and no practical use, at all. Anyone else getting a spring cleaning feeling here? Perhaps this will help focus investors attention on the sustainable projects.

Yeah morelikely yes,these coins doesnt have good trading volume that is why they are getting delisted because im sure if these coins are worthy to have ,a lot of people will invest or trade these coins.Morelikely these shitcoins doesnt have active development or those developers have abandoned these projects that is why theres no one trading these shits.

I think its ok because dome of them is no value like you said they remove it because weak liquidity. I think its time to remove some coin in some exchanges that no value or no potential because some of that are scam or abandoned.

Crypto Exchange with a global name in connection with the hype of 2017, decided not to lose money. They ask for huge amounts of money for hosting tokens. Crypto industry was unable to reverse this moment. It is unfortunate that decentralized exchanges have not received such popularity. And ordinary holders are forced to experience problems because of the policy of exchanges.

This move has made investors sell them off the market, the value of these coins may be reduced to the lowest possible zero. I think these coins will die in the future. So let's sell them to compensate for losses now.

Yes, a few days ago I got an e-mail from bittrex about it. I thought originally it was a phishing e-mail, so did not dare to open the link.

Good job because it will lessen the shitty coins in the market,less shitcoins less mistakes this is a very good decision of bittrex and they should be doing this regularly monthly will be great because these shitcoins are just polluting the market that is why most of the newbies are getting rekt because of these shitty coins out there.

Good thing so that our community will be shitcoin less community,doesnt matter which coins should be remove but we need to clean the environment by delisting unworthy coins in the market,regular cleaning should be done monthly remove those coins that has less trading volume or activitiy because if the coin doesnt have good volime it means that is worthless coins.

It will but it will be so difficult for bittrex because the team was working only with those coins are following SEC regulation. The majority of the coins in the list were crap coins. But i knew that some coins are listed in the list already included on the security token to the investors. Bittrex is working very strict with US regulation and The team was stated to follow all of regulations.

Good news,less shitcoins the less mistakes they should have done this before so that more shitcoins will be removed from our community.Doesnt make sense because therea re thousands of coins that you can trade and you will just know which of these coins arent actively being traded,you will be just suprised that these dead coins are getting pumped by these PND groups.

These coins deserved to be removed because they are worthless pieces of shit,pure shitcoins! Bittrex is doing their job to remove these shitcoins from their exhcange cleaning all these inactive and worthless coins in the market,delisting a coin wont affect if that coin doesnt have any trading volime from the past few months it means people arent interested.

Very wellplayed by bittrex,these shitcoins needs to be eliminated or erase to our environment so that less shitcoins will exists,those inactive coins for years should be delisted so that no one will invest to these shitty dead coins,because some people will still invest to these dead coins without doing research that will surely get rekt at the end of the day.

They do it right. Cluttering the lobby is so bad. Why keep tokens/coins that are not in demand? It is better to concentrate clients on tokens with good liquidity. Bittrex have ~300 tokens, but some of them are less than 10K/daily volume. These tokens need to be removed or frozen for a while.

Removing will help the traders pretty well, having too much token is not necessary at this momenta since many coin will soon to add up, if those coin didn't manage to remain in bittrex meaning they didn't perform well enough among other coin who still on it.

I think this decision is a good think to remove some coins that are no liquid and does not have any sense/purpose.....

I can say that this is a good news. Removing unusable coins with no progress in the exchange is a must. Why? Because they are just like spam in the exchange, they are just populating the system and not contributing to its success. Sad for the coin holders and investors because if one exchange will remove it from their system, there is a possibility that it will also be removed on other exchange. With this news, the coin value will dump and no one will ever buy it again. RIP coins.

I think it is time for big exchanges to eliminate all of the coins that are not intended for use. It would be better for the crypto market where there were too many coin trash, bittrex is doing a meaningful job.

I think this is a good step in the right direction. Most of these coins are having some good volume in terms of  Market Capitalization that should go to better coins with good use cases.
This would be a better thing for the Cryptocurrency market as the area of focus would be coins with good use cases and not shitcoins

That is the hallmark of a great exchange #Bittrex. What is the use of keeping nonperforming coins that will clog the whole platform with little or no impact on the daily or monthly trading volume. It is good to clear the system of dead coins.

It's a good decision to clear out these coins. There is a lot of worthless stuff out there, cluttering the crypto ecosystem and giving crypto a bad name. Spring cleaning is a sensible move.

bittrex does not really like token erc20 list on their exchange, while coins are very liked by bittrex, I do not know what cause.

Finally they will remove at least part of all this useless shitcoins, that's still are on exchange from past years. Very nice decision from Bittrex.

I'm only familiar with Metal but most of these coins aren't that popular.
Did bittrex didn't really gave any reason why they have to move the other coins that has good trading volume?
If the reason is their weak liquidity then bittrex is starting to play safe now due to competition.

I looked at the list of these coins and realized what I did not know about their existence, 99% of them are unknown for me. These are very rare coins probably. But I guess that the market cleaning process has begun and it would be useful for the whole market at the long term ;)

A good decision if you ask me. I hate these coins, which do not allow you to withdraw your funds or even deposit them. I hope there will follow many more of them being kicked out of exchanges.

I think here there is 28 lists of coins and not 82 so kindly update your question as 82 is really a big number than 28 :D. I have been using Bittrex since past one year almost till now and I think they are taking this step to remove the unwanted 28 list of coins just to make their exchange little bit better and by this way the coins which don't have big value or doesn't have any big volume and demand then there is no use of using it in the big exchanges like Bittrex. I think we should use some set of rules and conditions to accept the coin for trading in the respective exchanges which will automatically remove the unwanted coins.

It looks like Bittrex is making room for new cryptocurrencies to be added.  I am glad I do not own any of the ones that will be removed otherwise if it's not also listed on Binance or Poloniex, I would have to dump them.  

Why so many token that fail to fill the high liquidity? Its crazy because so many token in ico and now there are many also delist.

I think it is about time to eliminate some of the altcoins. It may be on its way to give credits to the most valuable coins in the cryptocurrency world and I think it is just that we focus on the most useful coins ever made. If am to be asked, A hundred alts is enough for me to be on the blockchain to avoid over-saturating and traffic. Too much altcoins are not just confusing noobs but also some of the coins are just used in scamming not knowledgeable people.

I think it is a good think to remove shitcoin, "spring cleaning" is a good thing for the website infrastructure health, it shows as well Bittrex intends to be a more serious crytpo exchange platform

It is a good sign really, many coins should not be there in the first place and this marks a good time to tell user the truth about paid listing in exchanges.

I think they should check properly before listing any coin because  anytime they announce delisting people that have bought that coin before the announcement always loose money. They should do everything possible to protect their customers.

It is actually good for crypto community. I do not think we need more than 100 coins and all coins which do not have something new to offer will keep getting removed from time to time. What will happen to people who invested in these ?

These coins are simple shitkoins. But I'm sure that some have them in their purses and for some they are still promising. The main thing is that other exchanges are cleansed of junk, then really there will be the necessary content in the market.

I slightly disagree with the decision. It will be more deadly the coins, what if the coin actually has potential.. just run very slowly?

Some token transactions are no longer necessary because they have poor liquidity and the project has not continued to develop. I think this is good news.

This is a super step from bittrex. The market has long been polluted with a lot of coins without use case/product thereby hindering other coins from growing well. Its time to separate the wheat from the chaff now.

I can not understand why Bittrex is doing something like this. Yes, some projects are garbage or even worthless and some are set up to hunt carp, but why not take precautions before adding them to the stock market and then remove them after they are added? What about long-term investors who do not know? What will happen then, what kind of explanation will they make with this investor? Obviously it is dangerous and faulty to keep your money in the stock markets, but there are not many investors who do not listen to this warning.
