You may choose your own coin from here https://masternodes.online for masternode based staking but I am not seeing it as a good thing as people are heavily dumping their MN rewards rather than setting up another MN node. I'm only interested in DASH masternode and I never try to use any other masternodes. PIVX, ETZ and Zcoin could be another good alternatives for DASH. But this does not mean that no one needs masternodes. they are simply not as popular today as they used to be. I've found myself a project without a masternodes, but with the possibility of mining coins. I'm talking about the project Sound Money Coin.
