Title: Starting a new (novelty) alt-coin Post by: VBT on October 25, 2013, 05:54:27 PM Hello all.
I have been looking into starting a new alt-coin. It would be just a novelty, not really trying to create the next hot alt-coin. Why? 1. mostly to say that I did it. 2. to have fun while learning (a lot) more about the inner workings of the crypto-currency protocols. 3. Well, you never know, it could be unique enough that it just might take off and become the next big alt-coin. So, my first (of many, I am sure) question would be, rather than just reading the whole Bitcointalk forum, is there a section/group/thread(s) that I should concentrate on? Thanks. Nope, mostly just renamed copies of currrent alt coins with few different parameters.
