Spend 80cents to lower the price of something 50cents (and give you the privilege to look at the price)?

Sounds like a terrible idea to me.

So it'll probably be a huge success (I'm constantly amazed at the stupid things people do with their money).

I think the benefit to the consumer is that other people have also paid to lower the price, so while you are paying 80 cents to lower it 50 cents, it may have already been lowered $20.

800 bucks for an ipad? I guess that is a good deal right. I didn't see any huge savings on things. I don't think this has caught on yet.
