As ICO cools down and a lot of projects are even dumping at lower prices than ICO, is there any hope for ETH prices to shoot again? Also there are some news that ICO projects are cashing out the large amount of ETH recently which even give ETH a more harder hit than other coins.

ETH price is related to BTC price. When BTC show stable grow-up trend you will see ETH is going up as well.

I thin k it is a scam and we can see the price to be high again in the near futur. I won't sell the coins that I have until the pric eis high enough.

I think that the ICO does not have a great influence on the price of the Ethereum, they usually have effect, but it is not as significant as it seems. I think that the price may still fall slightly due to bitcoin instability. But I hope that soon everything will begin to grow

People getting paid for the own information that they generate. If this is one of the top 5 societal redesigns that comes out of Ethereum, I'll be happy with it. If Facebook is replaced by a dapp as well, a lot of the money gained through selling information might be spent on using that platform, which is a bit like what's happening already: Facebook is letting us use their platform for free, in return for our data.

ETH was on fire with all the ICO projects using their platform, there are other alternatives to ETH which only a hand full have used, I don't think ETH is finished by any means and they do have other things going on outside of being the go to platform for releasing an ICO.

I think prices were pretty inflated towards the end of last year and we were due for a correction.  Once we see the effects of regulations and some price corrections, will begin to see a bull market come back.  Until then, this shakes out some weak hands and those with means pick up bargains.

However, when bitcoin is going down, people start feeling unsure about the market in general and thus the price of ethereum goes down as well. And eth's price is also really affected by ico bans, because it is the basic platform for icos.
Yet I disagree with the op that eth is dead. It still has chances to recover, even though for now mining it is really unprofitable, taking into account the fact of eth fork that makes eth closer to not being mineable at all.

eth is still a favorite altc for everyone, just a lot of people are bored with the bad ico or scam that has happened lately. we need to be patient and I am sure that in the near future eth will explode.

Ethereum is a huge brand and trusted by companies and governments like venezuela. it will always be popular but there is an increasing pressure on prices not just from ICOs cashing out but competition from other arguably better alternatives. NEO is rising fast and is popular in the far east, i think it will compete on par with ETH this year.

Maybe at some point you are right but I don't think ETH will go down below as there are still many people use ETH not only for making an ICO .

I think that if you don't know anything about that and don't make another FUD thread. It's not caused by the ico has been decreasing on its trend. As you can see there is a lot of recent icos which reached hardcap just in some seconds. In fact that all of this caused by those are overrated with EOS project and send the developer more than 200k ethereum. EOS team try to kill ether trend with dump it as low as possible.
It has posted by so many people about the real reason that makes ethereum dying a little bit right now.

I think ETH's price go down in recent times is on a down trend with Bitcoin. Beside, some bad ICO after taking ETH of investors, they sold big amount of ETH on market. This thing also make its price go down

ETH's price when I first bought mine was around $250 so at its current rate I think it is still a profit if you bought last year. Unfortunately that is not the case for those who invested in the recent weeks as there was an all time high rate for ETH. Let's just hope that BTC price will raise in the next coming weeks or months as its dip greatly affected all altcoins especially ETH so I think if BTC pumps up, everything follows.

ETH is not dead, ETH is down because of the market condition and when market recovers, eth will moon and go to another all time high again, and I believe it will happen this year ending again.

I think its about the whole market that is down at the moment. The market is in red bloodbath because of the bitcoin only. ETH however went all the way down because of the reason that you have stated here that is ICO thing and as well it is because of the net effect of the market down trend.

I think the price of Ethereum increases when there are more ICO projects in the scene as many people then buy ethereum for buying their tokens from the projects which are providing their sale with ethereum coin.

And as now we are seeing that the time of ICO projects has been started and many people are now ready to invest their money in it then once again the price of ethereum will increase. With that it is also a chance that the price of bitcoin will also increase because of the trust in crypto.

You cannot really tell this right now because overall the market is down. So you cannot specify that ETH is dead because all of the market is dying. Let the market recover, and if ETH is left behind, then you can say that ETH is dying. But I think it is still very much healthy. It is hard to imagine a rally in the future because of the said things but i am expecting some movement when the market recovers, most of the projects have cooled down and i am not even sure how many genuine projects are successful and with regulations coming up, it is hard to see any rally coming up in ETH.

I think you shouldn't be panic just because of ETH price is falling at the moment. There are so many cryptocurrencies on crypto market and ETH is not the only cryptocurrency falling at the moment, even BTC is also falling as well. Come on! All cryptos are down these day, some even 90% from ATH. ICOs have the poor performances because they pre-sell discounted tokens which then get dumped on regular investors.
Ethereum is one of the strongest platforms/coins out there.
