This is my own opinion that Bitcoin will touch 20K USD end of 2018. What your thought about it ?

Yes, i strongly agree with you that bitcoin will reach 20k$ or above before the end of 2018. Many bitcoin experts predicted that bitcoin will pump this year and reack 50k$, 100k$ but i think bitcoin will not reach 50k$. In reality i believe that bitcoin will reach 20k$.

This is a high possibility i think because last year it was hit around $19k.
If you look at the price of bitcoin, every year bitcoin value has increased no lower than last year.

According to my assumption bitcoin will arrive at the $ 20.000 level in the coming June month and the $ 30.000 level will be at the end of 2018 (November / December). But in its journey between June and December bitcoin will never be smooth from $ 20.000 immediately rose to levels $ 30.000 because the process of falling prices will still occur as usual.

Yes l beleive that bitcoin will reach $20000 before end of this year 2018.l feel that this coming months bitcoin will jump rising. That bitcoin will rise up again very quick like last year December 2017.Bitcoin is the hope of many nations now. And l know this will be in the whole world because bitcoin really gives a challenge to make a new thing in our lives.

You could have backed up your assumption with some technical analysis or may be some good news that may hit the market in future.

We cant be so sure about the bitcoin hitting such high value in the year 2018 or it may hit it but again we are not sure about it. Why it hit the last time to that high? Because that year was the perfect one to bring lots of investors on board when people saw that bitcoin is pumping from 1000 USD to 2000 USD then 5K, then 10K and so on. These were the perfect buy walls for everyone and thats why it got spiked a lot. I assume many forks that were giving out the free goodies was also the reason behind this one along with the futures company investing into it.

We need something like that and for now its just being negative all the time. Lets hope for the best though.

It may touch $20000 and may not because most of the time speculations don't work for bitcoin most of these speculations often sends a wrong signals to potential investors, hence we should be very careful when speculating the price of bitcoin because there are many factors especially fundamentals that may make or mar the price hitting that mark.

It all depends on the amount of media FUD and pressure. So, in other words, if they will want to keep the price low they will continue to make up stories like the one about child porn in the blockchain and they will continue to scare investors calling BTC a ponzi scheme. You can see the price fighting this and going up, but after every negative article there's a bit of stagnation and apathy on the market. I'm almost sure that we'll stay above 10k later this year, but whether there will be enough interest to take us to 20k so soon? Nobody knows that.

I am not really sure about this thing now that we are experiencing volatility in the market. I am expecting that its market value will eventually recover but reacheing a market value of 20000 USD I think is a puch to the moon right now. But if it will, surely, holding and investing at this moment would really be a good idea to earn huge profit in the future.

This is not far fetched as the price has already hit 20k once so hitting it again won't be much of a surprise when it happens as a lot of us are actually expecting it to beat the previous all time high during the next bull market. i plan to hold past the 20k mark because I know the price will go even higher than that in the next bull run which means more profit for me.

There are more perspectives and capabilities for this,But first of all,People need to understand that bitcoin is not just a 'share',So it depends on people's knowledge and on their will to use it everyday as a payment system,We need to understand that there is no need  to be closely connected with other financial institutions,especially with commercial banks,because its more easier,faster,cheaper and secure system and good acumulation system.Anyway smart people always choose better and looking for to invest their funds more rationally.

yes I agree with that too. Or maybe more than 20k usd.  as I have read also in the news and some speculations. and based also in my observation of the prices of bitcoin in the previous years. It is very likely to happen .

I think the bitcoin could reach $200000, but this year is difficult, if when the thunder network to solve the defects of the bitcoin that will further rise in the price of the bitcoin, to reach $200000 is entirely possible.

I hope will be like that, because I have see many good news about Cryptocurrency mainly with Bitcoin, that's like some government will legalize Bitcoin arround mid of this year, and some big company will use Blockchain technology, of course if this is will make Bitcoin will reach high price again. And I hope can be more than 20K USD end of 2018.
But this is depend by FUD like our friend says before, and so many naughty people want to make cryptocurrency down. But we don't know how cryptocurrency later, and I hope will be better than this month.
Because Bitcoin price increase will be bring very good effect for our future later, and influence to another crypto coin, and I think this is good time to buy some coin and sell it when reach our target price, because the price still low like at this moment.

As per studies of previous years, it shows that there is always a new high at the end of the year. Hopefully this should work for all of us.

And also until now, Bitcoin touch the lowest record. But I don't think they will drop even more because many Companies use Blockchain, and Economic Advisers that bitcoin will rise again. Maybe it will go up and exceed 20k by the end of 2018, as what you see in previous year, nobody expect that it will soar up to 19k inspite of the news about banning ICO's in China. There are many people are interested in crypto currency. The more people get indulge to this new innovations then the faster it grows and reach the highest altitude. To reach its value we should also support and share to everybody the wonderful effects of bitcoins in our lives:)

You shouldn't really be taking advice like this from random people on the internet! for all you know, we are all fooling you into losing your money.

i know it is hard, but trust me it is only hard at first. try to come up with your own speculation and predict the market on your own. you will me so much more successful than when you ask random people random questions like this.

This may happen if there is a lot to invest in bitcoin, but I think it's likely to happen because I have a wet link with a bitcoin of 25k usd this july and in 2020 it is about 75k usd bitcoin, but it's a bit surprising how they have been able to fill bitcoin's month and how they know that bitcoin is rising again because we just need to know bitcoin's rise and decrease in price because we're all just controlling users it can only be said or said that if it goes up and down.

We have to wait and see. Bitcoin can reach this level and even more, but we can't predict exactly if it will happen by the end of this year , before this date or after. The actual price is below $10k and it is going up and down slowly. I think that it will take some time until the price will start going up highly again, at least other few months.

I think there is enough instability in the world right now that anything is possible. However, I do worry that the correlation between stocks when stocks are falling and crypto is going to eventually bring the crypto market down for awhile. The stock market, especially US stocks are overdue for a correction and US politics - basically starting a trade war with China - will reduce economic growth worldwide if it continues to escalate. I think European and communist countries will now use our tariffs as an excuse to protect their own pet industries, further reducing global trade and economic growth. It seem we can't go 50 years without repeating the same mercantilism mistakes that have been made hundreds of times throughout human history.

Trust me if Bitcoin reaches that level again this year then its going way up than that price level. Its not going to reach its Ath and stay there. But if it stays below the $10k price range than we can expect multi year bear phase.

You are expecting only $20000 by the end of this year. I am expecting at least $40000 and it will surely cross this much in my opinion. It has failed to deliver this year so far but it will improve.

This will be a goods news to everybody if that will happen. There is a chance of possibility that it will happen since many promoters were doing their best to advertise bitcoin. Because of that many people become aware and got attracted on bitcoin. This will result to increase in price in the future.

Yup, no doubt, it will touch 20k. But I really believe that Bitcoin will touch 100k. Yes this is very possible. Just listen to the news, learn how everyone is getting crazy with crypto , and jumping to the crypto band wagon.

20k is too less if you see 2018 end. Bitcoin has been in the correction phase but once it will begin to increase then ofcourse 20k is nothing. I feel that atleast 35k is an achievable target for bitcoin if you see in long term. G20 has a pretty good opinion about it so overall good times are surely coming for btc. All we have to wait is for a good positive graph of btc which will come once people begin with mass adoption once again.

Bitcoin's price almost touched 20,000 USD at the end of 2017. At the end of 2018 it will be much more.

I think it's very difficult. Now the price of bitcoin is only $8,900, and it has been falling for the past two months. I think it will take more time to adjust and start to recover. I couldn't imagine that bitcoin will touch 20k USD by the end of 2018, but maybe yes because there still few months before we reach 2019 and it's long time enough for btc to reach 20k USD by the end of 2018.

Depends if bitcoin can become mainstream enough to be accepted by individuals, businesses and governments. If institutions stop applying restrictions to the industry bitcoin will have a much wider range of possibilities.

At the moment bitcoin is having hard times to pass the 10K resistance, even with all the positive news like governments not planning to crack down cryptocurrencies. They will only regulate exchanges in order to prevent money laundering and criminal activities. But when all this is over and institutional investors start buying cryptocurrencies, the price will rise again. I just read that Russia's government is now open to legalize cyrpto market this 2018 so hopefully price of bitcoin will really reach 20k this year.

No one can actually know what the price is going to be at the end of 2018 because the price changes everyday up and down. People were talking the same thing at the beginning of last year and everyone asked if bitcoin is going to reach 10.000$ or 15.000$ at the end of 2017 and as we know bitcoin reached 20.000$ and that was a new record wich no one expected to happen so soon. Since the price was very close to 20.000$ last year I think this year it is going to reach that value and probably go even higher to 25k then go down a little and stay stable at 15k

People are too much confident about the bitcoin price, my own opinion is that bitcoin price is not going to wait for such a long time, i think that after June bitcoin price will reach to that limit and at the end of 2018 the bitcoin price will be trading above 30K, because still investors are holding their bitcoin and not going sell it.

Well I think bitcoin might actually cross 20,000 USD mark before the end of 2018. As of now the value growth rate of bitcoin is pretty less and I think it might increase with time. When it starts getting higher, the number of people investing would keep increasing as well and then soon it would start rising like last year.

I would like to pretend that all the speculations are true and we will see another big rally from bitcoin, but to be realistic it is difficult to see another rally until there is a clarity on what the top governments from around the world are trying to do with the regulation talks of bitcoin and other alt coins, if everything goes well then we might see a big rally again, other than that it is highly unlikely to see this year.

I have the same tohught in my head... It'll start to rise around summer and will eventually hit 20k again but this time it'll stabilize around that value. 50k or 100k is not just ambitious, that's called clickbait. But 20k is mostly achievable...

It touch $20,000 in some exchanges last 2017, and it will comeback again more than $20,000 this 2018 in my opinion. Almost every year, bitcoin reach new highs, and possibly it will hit again. Besides, most optimistic in bitcoin predicts  of it reaching $60,000 this years.

I think it could be possible because usually the Bitcoin's price is really good at the end of the years like 2017, they always have a bad start like big dip, big drop but they all gonna bounce back and start very crazy at the end of the year.

This is highly possible. Given the nature of the market, you can never be sure. But BTC is getting more attention than ever. So, a possible rise in price is on the way, I believe.

I think Bitcoin will reach $20,000 by about June of this year. A sharp fall in January, February and March lowered the price downwards,
consolidation is taking place now.  Then, during the next 3 weeks, growth should occur. I think initially growth will be slow,

I think it will easily pass to 20K! My guess is about 40K for this year end. Even we can see over 50k but correction will show us a 40k end of this year. There is one graphics, I've seen at internet. It all guess done from 2014 to 2017 year end. I think this year it hit again its guess. And its guess is about 37-38K. I am believe and I want to believe. I think reaching that price could be very possible before this year ends.My expectation is that bitcoin price will cross between $30k-$50k hopefully.I'm sure when that happens,price correction also will follow.But having price corrections can also be helpful in making our desired btc price goals be achieved in the future.

I think that is possible but I also think that people are just to obsessed with the price and at what time will reach certain value. This is hard to predict and unrealistic expectations can only bring you disappointment.
Still the year is long and there is plenty of time for Bitcoin price to jump high but don't expect such huge and sudden rise like we had at the end of the last year.

Yes, people are expecting that Bitcoin might reach to more than $20k by the end of this year, but chances are there but we need to move according to the market and don't know how long this gone take. Still, everything is speculation whether it will reach or not nobody doesn't know.

This is going to happen and I believe in this speculation. We are going to have the highest bitcoin price this year around November and December . Many investors are also coming into the market. I think if you have good money now is the best time for one to invest into bitcoin and others coins.

Hope and prayer will not solve your case bro and if it happens, it will and if it does not, just keep believing in the long term of what you are holding. 20k dollars is very possible to happen before end of this year because we know bitcoin already reached that. I hope more new investor will come to bitcoin so that's why the price increasing again. Bitcoin price is very unpredictable.No one can surely say that whether it will rise or fall.But if we consider the price graph of last year i.e 2017 then we can see that Bitcoin's price was near about $2000 in the month of may.But at the end of the year we saw a huge rise in the price as it reached to $19,000 mark.By observing this graph we can make an assumption that Bitcoin will cross $20,000 mark at the end of 2018.We can say this because price of Bitcoin in may 2018 is quite low but more than may 2017.So if we consider that it will grow at same rate at which it grewed in 2017 than we can assume that it can even cross $20,000 easily.

It may be possible but don't be too quick to conclude. Too much speculation can be the downfall of cryptocurrency and this is while a lot of people have been selling off because when they see or speculates too much, it doesn't meet their expectations,  they ends up going off and selling when they  are not supported to sell and they say that cryptocurrency has been unfair to them.

History can repeat itself so like what last year happened, the price of bitcoin plunged nearly to $20,000 so it can be the same again for this year. But last year was different, the start of the year bitcoin's price was around $1,000 and drove to almost $20,000 so there's a big gain. Yes, definitely. Bitcoin will rise up to 20K USD by the last quarter of this year just like last year where it really goes very high. Anything can happen and it is not impossible for bitcoin. That is where many investors will invest in bitcoin and knowing the holiday season the market is booming that time. So, I am very assured that it will touch 20K USD and even more than that.

Do you think the market is green today and there are no red signs? I think that if the price reaches to $10k till the end of this year it will be enough. No more big ups and downs will happen again. No I am not agree with you because the price is below $7000 and almost half of year has gone. How can you say that till November it will hit $20k again? It is not joking. You are misleading people. Yes it will happen at the end of 2018. The market is bit shining and moving on the right track between $7900 to $8300 which is really welcoming . If this continues to be, then we can expect minimum growth between $9500 to $10K by the end of August. Yes. I think bitcoin will reach more than 20k$ this year. The whole idea is to hold and not sell on bear market, just hold and wait.

I think that as time passes and we approach the month of December, the chances of the price of bitcoin approaching that price decrease, although apparently the great upward trend that has occurred throughout this terrible year seems to be over, and these relatively quiet days could mean the preamble of a promising year end.

There are a lot of cryptocurrency analyst who are speculating that the market price of bitcoins will actually reach $20k dollars before the end of the year and that is the reason why you should invest a huge amount today.

I agree that we should invest now,because the prices are very cheap at the moment we may not see the prices in the next year but don't invest because of someone saying that they are expert in analysis there is no such things exist everyone saying their own opinion in the crypto market and some might want to manipulate the market also.

I think it will be very difficult because the current condition of bitcoin prices is a lot of bad news which ultimately makes traders afraid and panicked so they choose to sell assets at a low price.

Though i agree in a way, it's really not as simple as that. A lot of people invested without much thought early this year and most lost money since they didn't expect the correction to be this long and they're not prepared for that. It's easy to say invest now since the price is cheap but the price could dip a lot more with the recovery taking months.

Well personally, I am hoping that it will happened one of this day. Because you know how volatile the bitcoin was. Its really hard to predict the price of bitcoin nowadays because its suddenly go up and down. But in the other hand, we all hoping for the price of it to become 20k by the end of this year.

This does not seems to be realistic value but nothing is impossible in the bitcoin world. Who would have thought at the beginning of 2017 when bitcoin price was less than 1000 USD then it will reach 20K by year end, and IT DID.  Now price is 6500$ and anything can happen. I am still hopeful to see bitcoin touching all time high this year.

I hope that is true, because indeed btc has shown signs of improvement and not only btc, many coins also experience price increases and hopefully investors, buyers and sellers of bitcoin are also happy with this situation.

Market will not just start an upraise immediately like that and start testing new ATH without some barriers in between, so for the end of the year to have this, must have required some strong good news to cause that huge demand.

Well, you should take into account that this thread was opened in March, when the year had just started and there were legitimate hopes of a gradual recovery, since the price fluctuated around $11,000 and there were quite optimistic expectations in this regard.

It is obvious that as the year progresses expectations tend to decrease greatly, so that at this time you need to be very deluded or overly optimistic to think that a recovery of such magnitude may be achievable in the coming months, and rather seem that the mood has cooled down in this regard, so closing the year around $10,000 would be optimal according to current circumstances.

We can be optimistic as we are free for that, but the current market situation isn't in  favor to us. It never shows aggressiveness and I may think that $20k is not reachable at this year.  Anyways, it is just a hope and there is no guarantee of having it as we never control the market.

That happening is under a lot of conditions that is hard to get and that makes it a bit impossible at the moment. We sure do not know what the future holds, but we know how fast the market is in going down and how slow it is trying to find even a little gain. Recently, we had a 2 weeks of gain erased in just few hours, and imagine on the way up to $20k, what would happen along the line. The force of staying above $6000 is getting weaker and there are prediction that the persistence might loosen the resistance and go lower than $6000 to $3000. I dont know those who wants to benefit from the dump but its not inviting to investors. If the resistance could exist by November it might probably hit $20000 by December even $25k at most

The chances of that happening go lower each day it passes, now September is almost over and now we have only three months for that to happen, I know that most of the growth in the last year came in the last three months of the year, but back then there was a lot of hype regarding bitcoin and its development and we had also many positive news coming from different countries but now that is not the case, so expecting such a recovery is a mistake.

why not ? cant you see last year ( 2017 ) bitcoin did start on a verry low price , lower than 6k usd but eventually after the third quarter of the year , its  value did unexpectedly rise reaching 18k usd in just a matter of short time . now this year everyone is expecting again for that to happen  . we are looking forward to see a new ath record this time  , maybe 20k to 25k usd is our expectation before we end the year 2019 .

Yeah many people give this figure for future price and the reason is that they have seen this price before, but I think it is not possible atleast till the end of this year. This year is the deadliest for all investors because it eaten their money and many became bankrupts due to debts. They have thousands of dollars in bitcoin. It is a good thing that you have accepted the fact that the price of bitcoin is not going to recover as fast as many people predict, most of the predictions that I see are very similar to the subject of the thread, many people believe that bitcoin is going to recover at the end of this year and I find that to be very unlikely because there is simply not enough demand for bitcoin to recover that fast, so as you say it is probably going to take a few years for that to happen.

That's still possible if we set last year as an example of what is happening now. Bitcoin is also down last September and it starts to rise again in October until December where it recorded its all time high. But no matter what's gonna be the price of bitcoin this year, i am not giving more attention to it because i am holding my portfolio including bitcoin for a long term.

Not everyone understands the way market is and they always expect that they just end up getting the same repetition year in year out for the price to keep skyrocketing to the moon the way they please.

Setting last year as an example is actually the first mistake you are going to be making here. Last year, was a bull year throughout and we are having exactly the opposite this year. Now, in case like this when the market tend to move downwards faster, as long as the bears are still in play, it is always very easy to see things go quickly downwards that upwards.

See it like you have really gone down the ditch and now you have to face some obstacles on your way up, it would only take a miracle to get the market to fly the way you want in this scenario, because, technically, it would take time before we start seeing any serious move.

That is the reason why resistance on the way up is always going to be huge and until we start seeing some really good news that would squash those resistances out of the way the market may not be strong enough to even test the previous ATH before it starts back down.

It is a normal thing with a market, people who have been holding for a while and then does not understand the advantage of holding long term will always want to cash out when they see the market increasing and then possibly changing trends back downwards, which is why the selling attempt within some region of resistance will be huge and 20k without any solid news will be hard to come by.

Many of those people probably sold their coins already, they were not going to wait for the market of cryptocurrencies to recover they wanted to obtain fast profits and some of them were able to get them when they sold their coins near the top but for everyone else that did not do that they understood that they faced a difficult decision, to keep holding their coins and hope for the price to recover at some point in the future or to suffer a loss and invest in something else.

When we start seeing accumulation we obviously will end up seeing some level of consolidation for a while and then from there, we will be able to see the market taking a new shape to the moon but for now, I feel we are still dwindling between the market considering whether to go on a short term uptrend before continuing with the downtrend before the consolidation or in this case the accumulation period or it will just break below the descending triangle and go lower which in this case, before we can start thinking of seeing anything serious, I would say 2019.

Honestly, I also want the price of 20k to be achieved by bitcoin in 2018, but I doubt that it looks like this year is not a bitcoin year like 2017. Maybe for 2019 there will be a chance for bitcoin to reach 20k.

I guess all people in the cryptocurrency wants to see the price to reach $20k again but unfortunately, it is not easy to increase in that price in the short time and perhaps, it will happen in 2019. We have another day to see the price to increase higher, and we can search for another profit from the other coins, and we can keep the bitcoin we have to wait for the price increase back. It's been a couple of months that btc value doesn't move further and still people are hoping for the betterment of its price. As a crypto users, I won't stop  promoting with this technology due to its potential value in the future.

That's not far from reality because for now, i am really feeling that slow reversion of the downtrend projectile as bitcoin is slowly rising up. 20,000$ is really reachable even we have only few months left because bitcoin is so volatile which can rise drastically in just days or weeks.

Do not concentrate as much in the price, it is true that everyone that is holding bitcoin would like the price to go up but that is not the most important aspect of bitcoin, the most important aspect of bitcoin is the technology itself and as long as it's there and it is still being improved by the developers there is always a chance that the price is going to recover at some point, the only thing you need to do is to hold your coins for long enough and wait for that day to come.

My opinion is that you are probably mistaken about your prediction, and I'm sure that many people will agree, the price that we saw at the end of the last year happened because a lot of circumstances happened at the same time that made the price to go up in that way, and as you can see the circumstances are not repeating themselves so there is not a reason to see that price again that soon.

Don't see any fascinating movements after all so I conclude that the price what we saw today will be the price of the bitcoins until the end of 2018 but let's still assume that there would be a little climax will be happen on late November and December so that we can see the provabilities that the bitcoin would reach for even $10,000 each. I would not say $10k is difficult yet, as that could be possible in the long run or short run depending on how the market would react and if we are able to see a break out and some short term movement upward, maybe there could be a chance for it.

It's very hard to achieve 20K USD by the end of this year because only two more months for end of this year. Till it couldn't touch 10K USD, so we cannot expect this much price. We cannot predict the market it may happen but chances are very less. The market is stable and really welcoming. Bitcoin may hardly reach minimum $9k to $10K of the current trend continues though we have seen every 4th quarter yields a good growth to crypto currencies. Lets wait and see.

That could happen because as we know that the price of Bitcoin is very difficult to predict and always many surprises occur. The current Bitcoin price is in the range of 6,500USD, the price is currently in a stable condition in a few weeks and slowly the price of Bitcoin has increased even though only a few USD. But this development deserves attention because it could be a surprise at the end of the year. I believe in such a thing because I believe that Bitcoin often shows wonders and changes impossible things into reality !!!

It seems perfectly possible to me, although I think that in view of the lessons that this market has given us in recent months we must learn to contemplate all the possible scenarios in order not to fall into the excess of optimism that leads us to make hasty decisions. We are not in the year 2017 anymore and it will not going to happen this year again. Clearly because the market is so sluggish being in the deep of its normal cap and it remained even if we are already in the final quarter of this year.
