Title: Re: [ETH] Claymore Miner Crashes on Startup Post by: sindikat on March 24, 2018, 05:55:48 PM You need to check the settings of Windows defender. Perhaps Claymore is blocked as a suspicious application. Try disabling Windows defender and if the app is running, add the Claymore to the exclusion list. I don't see whether the GPU is being tested or not. Perhaps the problem with the drivers of the GPU. Check in the hardware properties.

None of them worked. At this point I'm thinking it might be a problem with the card unless there is something that I am missing. I'm currently in the setup phase of a 6 card rig, but since things haven't been working I've just been trying to get Claymore to run with only one card, so power shouldn't be an issue. That aside, my psu is 1500w. I'm only doing ETH mining, and it does the same for dual mining mode. Look like you need to re-download claymore (seems you need fresh one), and turn-off you windows defender or anti-virus (if you have it), just to make sure all of Claymore file safe (not moved anywhere). Or may try to plug your card directly to PCIe 16x without Risers? Or maybe you still run your cmd.exe (Command Prompt) in quick edit mode. Just check it, open your Command Prompt then right-click, properties and make sure uncheck quick edit mode. Almost like Claymore is not seeing your cards. Yeah I thought a bit of the same. However when I go into Device Manager I can see the card is just fine and It says that it is working nominally. Do you have any idea of how I can allow claymore to detect the cards? When dealing with computer troubles, you often have to figure out what it's not to figure out what it is! I don't think it's claymore, but rather my GPU. I noticed that the GPU isn't computing OpenCLL like it should be when I opened up GPU-Z (how I missed it before idfk). I'm reinstalling drivers to try to fix that. If it brings back that functionality I'll try Claymore and if that doesn't work I'll follow your suggestion. Title: Re: [ETH] Claymore Miner Crashes on Startup Post by: kd6 on June 12, 2018, 07:23:01 PM Hey guys, I just had a similar problem with my mining rig. I managed to fix it by disabling the integrated graphics in Device Manager in Windows. I was playing around with uninstalling/reinstalling drivers (with DDU) and I suspect that Claymore must trip up on this somehow.
Hope this helps! Title: Re: [ETH] Claymore Miner Crashes on Startup Post by: beastyyork on January 20, 2019, 10:22:02 PM Hi guys I have the same problem.
